katu.com — ASTORIA, Ore. (AP) - Remember that old safe that was found not so long ago, deep in the bowels of a fish cannery in Astoria? Plenty of people speculated about what might be inside, even as a locksmith had to be called in to crack the code. Was it gold, emeralds, diamonds, rubies or just stacks of cash? Turns out, it was none of the above.
