- jimmymcduck, on 10/22/2007, -3/+43was anyone else expecting a bunch of guys with neatly trimmed facial hair and gillette ads everywhere?
- Niddik, on 10/20/2007, -1/+30If there's anything that I've learned from the internet, it's that duct tape rocks.
- Error601, on 10/22/2007, -1/+23No mention of the Cuban Missile Crisis?
- floridiot2, on 10/22/2007, -2/+23If you can't duct it... ***** it.
- rivalius13, on 10/22/2007, -0/+14What about the inanimate carbon rod???
- hawkspur, on 10/22/2007, -0/+13It's amazing that a single man had the power to end the world in his hands but stopped it against all of his training and everything told to him. Simply amazing.
- tehjai, on 10/20/2007, -2/+14Are you the only idiot that doesn't know how great duct tape is?
- zombieball, on 10/22/2007, -0/+10I thought they just injected people with chemicals that would produce false positives on a test. They didnt actually make people sick.
- emiles, on 10/22/2007, -0/+9What a great post!
The second story reminds me of the old anti-semitic myth, popular during the middle ages that European Jews frequently poisoned wells as part of some mass conspiracy. In this case, you actually do have two Jewish guys making the gentile population sick on purpose, but clearly for admirable reasons. - Fanrir, on 10/22/2007, -1/+10If you can't tape it...rape it.
- Dove, on 10/20/2007, -4/+12Inaccurate, take two: http://www.ffk-wilkinson.com/
- shadowsurfr1, on 10/20/2007, -1/+9You needed the internet for that?
- andycr512, on 10/22/2007, -0/+7Duct tape is like the Force - it has a light side, a dark side, and it binds the universe together.
Old joke, but applies here. - navitatl, on 10/20/2007, -0/+7I love submissions like this... great read
- punjab551, on 10/20/2007, -0/+6well i certainly wasn't expecting to see Nietzsche or Robert E. Lee
- inactive, on 10/21/2007, -0/+6TO PETROV!
- havokzero, on 10/22/2007, -0/+4If you live near North Dakota or Louisiana, you just had a really close shave and didn't even know it.
- jhshukla, on 10/22/2007, -0/+3not while using ABP.
- MrPig, on 10/20/2007, -1/+4Do we open the webpage before commenting?
No, no we don't. - dakotaterritory, on 10/22/2007, -0/+3I can't believe there was really a big red button!
- drivin98, on 10/22/2007, -0/+2The Google ad for this page is perfect!
Pet a Tiger Tour - Walk with an adult tiger.
Thailand Tiger Adventure Vacation www.petatiger.com - shyner, on 10/22/2007, -0/+2Those are pretty cool, but I was kind of let down. I was expecting more than 3 stories.
- inactive, on 10/20/2007, -3/+5*****.
- inactive, on 10/20/2007, -1/+3POWER TO THE DUCT TAPE!
- huntr2, on 10/20/2007, -0/+1It was the 50th anniversary of the fire at sellafield (nuclear plant in England) 10 days ago, that was most definatly a close shave. I was watching a BBC program on it, the nuclear reactor caught fire and there was no one in the world who knew how to deal with that sort of situation because it had never happened before. The guys who worked there had to guess what to do, luckily they managed to put the fire out in the end without causing a nuclear accident (although a lot of radiation was released over the country, it could have been far worse, maybe chernobyl scale).
- hellathatguy, on 10/20/2007, -2/+3you should be rick rolled for that comment.
- greenm1981, on 10/20/2007, -2/+3You are.
- RogerStrong, on 10/20/2007, -0/+1Nah. A close shave is when you almost - but didn't - live near North Dakota.
(I live just north of North Dakota.) - ftcram, on 10/20/2007, -0/+1But, what if you can "duct it"? http://www.erosblog.com/sex-blog-pictures/ducttape ...
- galleryfront, on 10/20/2007, -0/+1This list is only a couple years old, and has probably been on digg before... dugg for moving Petrov up to the top!
- Error601, on 10/20/2007, -0/+1That one struck me as over stated. Did the Soviets really give a Lt. Colonel authority launch nuclear weapons?
- yulei68, on 10/31/2007, -0/+0great post!
- gojcaj, on 10/20/2007, -1/+1Norelco....now thats a close shave.

- Paroparo, on 10/20/2007, -4/+3It's so awesome that we often call it "Jesus tape" here in Finland.
- crackedlogic, on 10/20/2007, -2/+1I see what you did there. Brilliant.
- Chompy, on 10/20/2007, -7/+6No, actually we *got* the disaster in 2000. Even now, I envy the mirror world where Bush lost. It's probably a Utopia by now, everyone holding hands and singing..
- inactive, on 10/20/2007, -3/+1I see what you did there.
- tehWyman, on 08/19/2009, -8/+2And the United States no longer existing. Bush may be a horrible president, but Al Gore would have been much worse.
- Shawn4168, on 10/21/2007, -19/+12Inaccurate. http://www.pg.com/en_US/gillette/index.jhtml
- shoulderjesus, on 10/20/2007, -11/+3I rely on my mach3 to get a close shave, I dunno about those others
- crackedlogic, on 10/20/2007, -14/+4Am I the only one who's tired of hearing idiots talking about how great duct tape is?
- SiNN4R, on 10/20/2007, -14/+3http://neatorama.cachefly.net/img4/bowling-shirt-1 ...
I wish I could be him. - Vicujozobenaxod, on 10/21/2007, -28/+8First guy looks like Ron Paul's grandpa.
Buried for not including the 2000 election. I keed. (not really, we did avoid disaster there).
