- scoot87, on 10/12/2007, -1/+42It will be interesting seeing the September 11th tragedy 5 years later with a different perspective then I had when watching it live
- cphuntington97, on 10/12/2007, -7/+38More fear mongering... can't wait for it.
- symmetry, on 10/12/2007, -8/+30Yes because now there's more deaths and terror in Iraq than there ever was before. Now Muslims hate the US even more than they ever have.
You're right, he has accomplished a lot. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -10/+29It isn't, until you take note of the fact that it's the third building in history to collapse from fire... the first two being WTC 1& 2
- Rezzy, on 10/12/2007, -8/+27Conspiracy theory onslaught in 3...2...1..

You ignore that hundreds of victims' families say that Bush's (the international criminal) appointed 9/11 commission is a whitewash commission. Many families have sued the government for hiding the truth. A documentary about these families will be available in september. Be patient! And more polite! - JeremyBanks, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14Fine, then put it on multiple disks - the idea is still good.
- link470, on 10/12/2007, -9/+21Good, and then they can play loose change ;)
- omnithought, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12That's it, just keep turning the knife. People are finally coping with their losses and the media has to dredge it all up again.
I suppose we're supposed to get emotionally worked up again so we fall for the old tricks and vote Republican in the mid terms. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13Wow, has it really been 5 years?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12Back then Bush was looked at as the savior of America, hence why his approval rating shot into the mid-90s when we went into Afghanistan. Of course, one has to wonder why his current approval rating is in the mid-20s... you know, with all the debt and illegal wars and all...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+14that "minor building" contained a lot of major offices, The IRS, CIA and Secret Service for example, don't forget the Security and Exchanges Commission, oh, and of course Mayor Guiliani's Office of Emergency Management.
Not to mention the fact that WTC 7 was worth more destroyed than intact to Larry Silverstein, the owner of the World Trade Complex. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13loose change harms true questions about 9-11
because you have loose change, anyone with questions gets thrown in that group.
If you watch loose change i ask that you atleast watch bbc:how the towers fell
it really does a good job of explaining squibs and such, without being directed as a rebuttle to loose change.
That isnt to say there arent a lot of questions, they just get muddled by the louder extreme conspiracies.
SOme of mine are
why were the two senators meeting with the money man behind 9-11 on 9-11 (you would think he wouldnt be caught dead in the us on that day)
Who placed all the put options on AA and why cant they track the money? or is it they just cant tell which ones were made in good faith?
Why wont the FBI list 9-11 as one of osamas crimes. - aywwts4, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12For historical reasons I think this would make an interesting DVD, using the multi-angle function allow you to switch between all ABC, NBC, CBS, fox, CNN, and MSNBC just as if it were happening live and you were switching through the channels.
- CrackIsWack, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8We have always been at war with Eurasia!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -11/+18So, your sole argument on the falsity of the 9/11 conspiracy theories is that Loose Change is wrong. Humor me for a moment, is it possible that Loose Change may be wrong about many things, yet right on some things, and what Loose Change shows is, merely, some of the staggering amount of evidence that collaborates with the so-called "theory"?
There was a point in history when Conspiracy theorists insisted the world was round - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7that used to be my favorite show, but they have been dropping off lately. the people that they had on that episode were complete nutters, i agree. but that doesn't diprove the possiblity that the tragedy of 9/11 was done by a group of the government in order to further control the people and invade iraq. but like the person said in my quotes. people are much more likely to believe a big lie than a little one. those were from hitler by the way. pretty sure he knew what he was talking about.

"Look at Iran, we are handling that the European way and where are we?"
Not at war. Rational people consider this a good thing.
"but it is no longer a threat to anyone except itself."
You say this like Iraq was once a threat. Perhaps if you were Kuwait they were, but they were never a threat to the US or Eroupe.
"that there has not been another attack in America since 9/11"
This is a complete logical fallacy, called 'corrolation implies causation'.

"I haven't seen a video of Bin Dumbass in quite a while"
Excally. Why is there then this huge 'war on terrorism' then? - milomilomilo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Sometimes I feel like I've been pulled into a bizaro superman comic, where lies are truth. Where the people who search for truth and question others are stupid, and those who eat every spoon-fed talking point are the enlightened ones.
I guess it's very conveniant to have a magic label, that makes us 'conspiracy theorists" into bad guys from the gate. Rational thought and reason, and simple physics are irrelivant to you because fox news said so. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1090 hours of video (18 * 5) on a DVD? I don't think that would even fit on a BD or HD-DVD.
- TheG2, on 10/12/2007, -21/+265 bucks says your a dumbass.
Let me guess, you watched Loose Change and suddenly your an expert on the 9/11 tragedy. Get the hell over it, theres been dozen and dozens are articles on digg pointing out the numerous flaws that are the cornerstone of Loose Change and a conspiracy that damn huge is impossible to cover up, nice try, but you conspiracy people are way off the mark here.
Not to draw flames here, but find another reason to hate Bush. - WaterDragon, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8"Sweet! I can't wait to watch building 7 collapse again - you know, the ones no planes hit?"
Yeah and it's always fun to see the landlord, Larry Silverstein, caught on camera saying "We'll have to 'pull' #7"
Shortly thereafter, it collapsed, text-book perfect, from demolition charges that, miraculously , had already been in place -- even though it takes at least a few weeks to place such charges correctly.
It collapsed as perfectly as the twin towers, in fact! - whackaxe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5***** CNN, everyone knows what happend on 9/11 well engough without repeating the news footage. CNN are just hoping people break out the pop-corn, mutter a half assed excuse about "seeing what really happend", or the like, and engage in mass voyeurism for CNN's profit. But who am i convincing? This is the 21st century after all...
- igutekunst, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8Oh, *****, people are fired up. Every time there's a political story, the masses swarm like ***** hornets. I love it. . .

"I hope you run into one of the family of the victims of 9/11 and tell them that.
You ***** lowlife crackpot."
What good will this personal attack do? This post does nothing but stir up emotion, which hinders rational debate. - WaterDragon, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8"And, by the way, that "fact" of the towers being the first buildings to fall from fire is just total *****. I know this because there was a building a couple blocks from my house during the year 1999 that collapsed from fire - and I witnessed it."
I think you're responding to an incorrect quote, relayed by incubusnb.
The actual quote, which I recognize from the film "loose change " (see it through google videos)
is that they were the first buildings with that kind of elaborate 'steel reinforcement,' to collapse from fire, in history!
The point is still valid, but was misquoted. Then there's the seismic evidence, and the visuals showing the obvious results of pre-planted demolition charges, then there's the NYC firemen who said they sounded like demolition charges had been placed. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6@TheG2:
"The great masses of the people will more easily fall victims to a big lie than to a small one."
"The leader of genius must have the ability to make different opponents appear as if they belonged to one category"
"The victor will never be asked if he told the truth."
hm...... i wonder who those quotes are from - pabut, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Why Why Why Why!!
It happened. It happened 5 years ago. It was terrible then. It is terrible now. People need to get on with their lives. This does not honor the dead. This does not pay tribute. This is cheap sensationalism. I'd rather see stories on how victims families have have picked up the pieces and moved on and about charities that are trying to help victims families.
A cheap ratings ploy by CNN and collusion with the Administration that wants us to remain in fear. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -7/+11Normally I agree with Maddox, but wouldn't it be more plausible that in order to preserve the illusion of freedom, you have to let people theorize all they want and then prove them wrong as much as possible?
Had the makers of Loose Change been killed or had disappeared in some way, then Loose Change would become even more infamous and people would be slightly more susceptible to believing it. By allowing it to go unnoticed, as they have, they can merely pass it off as a wild idea that has no basis in reality, instead of a, sometimes valid, documentary about understanding 9/11. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7Well in your CURRENT FREEDOM i suggest you do the following..
walk into a POLICE STATION AND ASK FOR A COMPLAINT FORM.
Take a sign and megaphone and stand outside the whitehouse and congress and ask questions about the War on Terrorism in public.
Still think you have those freedoms of speech in a public place? Still think you have the right to question the police? - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+9The media never lies.
http://www.aish.com//movies/PhotoFraud.asp - riven0, on 10/12/2007, -4/+8Of course, this is to be expected before Nov. elections.
But if CNN wants to be a REAL news channel they need to start asking serious questions. First and foremost in my mind is WTC7. But, of course, they won't touch that with a ten foot pole.
Here are some other questions that need answering:

...Ted Turner needs to buy back CNN. - SmokedL, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Nah, it's not cheap sensationalism. It's the War On Terror!
Law one of The War On Terror is:
Always talk about the war on terror. It keeps people terrified. Somehow this will help us win the war on terror.
Didn't you read the memo? CNN sure did. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7Howcome the towers fell at the speed of gravity, if they fell onto each of the floors (as the government experts say), surely it would have fallen SLOWER due to the resistance (unless ofcourse they ALL just happened to weaken at the SAME TIME - wow theres that precision terrorism again).
Black smoke, an indicator of a fire BURNT OUT?
How come they fell straight down (when they where hit at the TOP). Theres that precision terrorism again.
These guys are GOOD. These guys should get into the controlled demolision business. Now thats an interesting thought. - bennyboy371, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I digg you up for this one. I don't believe that 9/11 was staged, but the parts of that video I've watched so far are legit.
- Cl1mh4224rd, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4WTC7 was *not* "the third building to collapse due to fire". Regarding WTC1 and WTC2, I really can't understand why every single ***** conspiracy theorist continues to parrot that nonsense; the two towers also suffered *significant* structural damage do the the impact Big Frickin' Planes.
As to WTC7, some of you obviously aren't out to find the truth, otherwise, you would have looked beyond what the CT websites have spoonfed you and found some real information.
WTC7 suffered significant structural damage from the collapse of WTC1:
http://www.kolumbus.fi/av.caesar/wtc/wtc7_2.jpg
This is supported by numerous interviews with firefighters on the scene that day, some snippets of which I've posted here:
http://www.bautforum.com/showthread.php?p=807933#post807933
You won't see this stuff on any CT website. It wasn't even used by any of the mainstream media outlets. If, after 4 years, you didn't even know this information existed, stop lying to yourself. You're not *looking* for the truth.
It boggles my mind that people still claim WTC7 fell for no reason. - aplusplus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Yeah, those 5 year olds will surely be into it...
- ncraig, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4wow 5 years ago i was a retarded freshman in high school and didnt give a crap, but now it's crazy thinking of it, i would love to rewatch the footage
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5I believe there are unanswered questions that need answering, I believe the government is not telling you the entire truth.
If you believe the government and press wholesale you have some serious delusions. - labmouse42, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3@bennyboy371
Im not a conspiracy theorist, and most of the conspiracies are utter *****. Penn and Teller said it best "We should be skepitcal of the governement, but people should not make ***** up"
That being said, this is a good video to watch
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=964034652002408586&q=911+revisited
It brings up some intresting questions, such as evidence of thermite in the towers. Intelligent people question, and do not scream 'conspiracy!'. - aywwts4, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6With compression I would bet you could fit one hour on a disk. (5 hours of video per disk)
How many hours did the whole event take, from a few minutes before the event to when the last of the action stopped?
They would probably sell the set for a few hundred so it wouldnt be cost prohibitive - labmouse42, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3@incubusnb
"Humor me for a moment, is it possible that Loose Change may be wrong about many things, yet right on some things,"
Your forgetting that extremists, left or right, only view the world in black and white. Something is either right or its wrong. Something is either good or evil. Grey areas must confuse extremists. - kahjah, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2No digg on this story, people need to do something else but talk about 9/11, I'm tired of having to walk through all these fools who come to NY to see a big hole in the ground. Its been 5 years and nothing has come from it but a idiotic war and more lies. Nobody cares anymore.
- mrASSMAN, on 10/12/2007, -13/+15..It didn't collapse from fire. It received massive structural damage from the debris collapsing on it from the towers.
Why exactly would the government fake the collapse of a minor building no one cares about? Does that make any sense? And why would they do something which would inevitably bring suspicion?
If you have seen photos of the building before it collapsed, it is very clear that it had become heavily damaged.
And, by the way, that "fact" of the towers being the first buildings to fall from fire is just total *****. I know this because there was a building a couple blocks from my house during the year 1999 that collapsed from fire - and I witnessed it. - Protoss, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Well thanks for giving me the ability to block users so easily Digg! Now I don't have to deal with the stupid theories.

"I pity you for thinking a news corporation isn't just trying to make as much money as possible without a care in the world for the actual truth"
Oh, Fox news cares about the truth. When it fits their neo-conservative adjenda its a great plus to show the truth. When it works against their agenda, then its important to ignore it. Either way, they care about the truth. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4And if you survive the police complaint form request, ask them for a pen to fill it out :)
