- Chazx, on 04/28/2008, -7/+87I thought the sniper fire comment was funny.
- dtele, on 04/28/2008, -14/+62I guess it is the last chance he will get - I mean, who's ever going to listen again after he leaves office?
- flintmecha, on 04/28/2008, -15/+62I can't stand Bush and I thought it was pretty good.
He's probably an alright guy, just somebody who really really sucks at his job. - Spuy767, on 04/28/2008, -4/+29You do realize that this is kind of the point of this dinner. . . It's supposed to be a light-hearted occasion.
- dansvan, on 04/28/2008, -8/+30I can't believe I'm saying this...but that was kind of funny.
- purzzzell, on 04/28/2008, -8/+30So? There's a time to crack jokes - it sounds like it was an appropriate one.
Buried as "why does anyone care?" - stonewaljacksn, on 04/28/2008, -3/+24no it wont.
golf, beer, baseball. oh wait i think thats what hes been doing during his presidency. - MerryMortician, on 04/28/2008, -2/+21A laugh is a laugh is a laugh. I don't care what you think of him.. that ***** was funny. (gj by the speech writers)
- troub, on 04/28/2008, -0/+14Wow, you managed the same typo on every single line. Good job!
Ctrl+V is not your friend. - dudefaceguyman, on 04/28/2008, -2/+16This was all in good fun, that's the point of these dinners. But you gotta admit, Bush has a good sense of humor.. Nothing really was on tv when the whole thing was on and I'd have to say before that was the longest amount of time I've watched anything on c-span without passing out from boredom was about 26 seconds.
Craig Ferguson afterwards was hilarious too - taketheleap, on 04/28/2008, -2/+15Bush the man = obviously funny and a good joke-teller.
Bush the President = unfortunately, also a joke. - SpencerMc, on 04/28/2008, -4/+16Just based on his policies (tax cuts for the rich, authorizing torture, etc.) I'm pretty sure that in addition to not being any good at his job, he's probably not an alright guy.
- apophenic, on 04/28/2008, -1/+116/10, too obvious.
- onixxino, on 04/28/2008, -3/+12That's pretty good though
- lacaid, on 04/28/2008, -2/+11Anyone else notice their video's volume knob goes to 11?
- SpencerMc, on 04/28/2008, -3/+12What, build homes for the homeless? Found an institute to promote global health, democracy and human rights? Monitor international elections, conduct peace negotiations and establish relief efforts? Write TWENTY-SEVEN books? Or maybe win the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002?
Say what you want about Carter's presidency, that's debatable. But don't try to bad talk his subsequent career or you just look like an *****. Yeah, I'm pretty sure Bush could and likely will do a lot worse. - Amazetbm, on 04/28/2008, -1/+9It's not him that is concerned about leaving, it's his friends at Haliburton. They started moving their corporate HQ to Dubai, last year.
- thedogfatherx, on 04/28/2008, -2/+10Idiot points? He was making jokes. That makes him an idiot?
- oldman, on 04/28/2008, -2/+10I hope that a judge and jury will listen....
- awtripp, on 04/28/2008, -3/+11It'll be interesting to see what GW Bush does with his life after his presidency.
- inactive, on 04/28/2008, -7/+14I don't like Bush but you gotta admit, the sniper fire joke was damn good.
- halleyscomet, on 04/28/2008, -12/+19Yeah, being responsible for more US deaths than Osama Bin Laden is just the result of a series of hilarious minor misunderstandings.
- sindex, on 04/28/2008, -1/+8I think you're confusing "interesting" with "boring."
- inactive, on 04/28/2008, -8/+15So, just mentally ill, then.
- GeorgeFord, on 04/28/2008, -0/+7Dugg up for Spinal Tap reference.
:O) - benjorino, on 04/28/2008, -4/+11LOL
- Doitdifferently, on 04/28/2008, -3/+10Iraq had nothing to do with the attacks on 9/11, even Bush admits this now, but hey thanks for playing.
- Infidelcastr0, on 04/28/2008, -1/+7Dugg for BSG.
- mcquitty, on 04/28/2008, -1/+7Calling Bush a dictator is a bit much.
I find it funny, people claiming Bush will never leave office. "There will be a false flag event!" "The elections will be called off!" "Bush is the devil incarnate!" "Bush is the anti-christ!"
Now, let me ask just one sane question. It looked like Bush might not have won 2004. Did he have a false flag moment? Did he wag the dog?
And when Bush leaves office in January 2009, will each of you who said he was a dictator please shut up? - halleyscomet, on 04/28/2008, -7/+13Don't be silly. 30% of the people in this country think he's doing a bang-up job. Anywhere in America where there are inbred, ignorant morons who ignore what' going on in the world and filter everything through zealous religious paranoia will welcome him with open arms.
- luchid, on 04/28/2008, -1/+6GO back to your cave, troll.
- NoCt1, on 04/28/2008, -2/+7He also will have Secret service protection the rest of his life.. and with the money he has and the ranch.. I dont think he wants to leave.
- tuxerware, on 04/28/2008, -3/+8I think bush i a guy who would drop a giant turd in the middle of the oval office just to mess with the next democrat president. "I'm of to my ranch in Texas to clear some brush, yeahaa!!"
- Charlotte_Web, on 04/28/2008, -1/+6Bush is always hilarious at the White House Correspondents' Association dinners. The best was in 2001 when he showed family photos.
Remember when Greta Van Sustern invited Ozzy Osbourne to the dinner? Bush recognized Ozzy, who stood up to a cheering crowd. - Doitdifferently, on 04/28/2008, -0/+5What?? You mean that not all think tanks are not unbiased institutions? That some have an ulterior motive? I'm shocked! Stunned! What kind of world is this? *hand to forehead* *faints*
- yojiffyskippy, on 04/28/2008, -1/+6You've been reading too much digg.
- halleyscomet, on 04/28/2008, -3/+8He'll bask in luxury on the profits from his oil company investments and make speaking tours of various Universities. When his coffers run low, he'll start a "Think Tank" company to churn out press releases and "Studies" that match whatever view his clients are looking to push.
- inactive, on 04/28/2008, -1/+6What does voting conservative have to do with supporting president Bush? I don't see how anyone, liberal or conservative, could possibly support him these days.
- neolarthytep, on 04/28/2008, -2/+7Well Duh, all three of the dummies will be just as bad as him in office
- opticwind, on 04/28/2008, -8/+13Just like I'm sure Obama writes his own material. *eye roll*
- Tenlow, on 04/28/2008, -1/+5His stockbroker for one...
- mcquitty, on 04/28/2008, -1/+5He also said that about his own daughter. He not only made fun of the candidates, but also himself.
- sexybobo, on 04/28/2008, -0/+4I will remember this comment in 12 months will you be posting a youtube video of this? (people out side the us like him less then the people in the US)
- Flamancot, on 04/28/2008, -3/+7nobody, ever....
- inactive, on 04/28/2008, -3/+7Back to being Texas governor, then, I suppose.
- theaceoffire, on 04/28/2008, -1/+5He still has 30%? I thought it got lower...
- NoCt1, on 04/28/2008, -3/+6There is Blue and also some White (Ice) and some brown and different shades of orange(sand).. You are in fact Mentally ill. You dont know your colors.
- kh99, on 04/28/2008, -0/+3Yeah, in fact I think the article got it wrong. I think saying McCain was distancing himself was just the obviously true set up to the joke, the punch line was that his daughter was doing it too.
- inactive, on 04/28/2008, -3/+6Wow, I can't believe you actually compare Bush to Hitler. Educate yourself.
- captainanndor, on 04/28/2008, -0/+3And 'lololol you're a fag!' being the best, most thought-out argument you can come up with is less pathetic how?
