- IceQwin, on 11/26/2008, -2/+157That's awful! How can they stomach doing that to a poor and defenseless animal? Some people can be so sick!
- louiebaur, on 11/26/2008, -0/+87What a sick bastard
- logandurand, on 11/26/2008, -11/+92I'm questioning my opposition to the death penalty. This kind of act merits removal from the gene pool.
- inactive, on 11/26/2008, -12/+90Clearly the dog did not "go everywhere with her," as she claims, or it would still be alive.
- Zippo, on 11/26/2008, -1/+71Seriously, how terrible a person do you have to be to ***** bake someone's puppy.
- aaronized, on 11/26/2008, -57/+124I'm guessing the burglar likes hot dogs.
- SirFragsMore, on 11/26/2008, -1/+56Should put that guy in an oven see how he likes it.
- Astroseksy, on 11/26/2008, -1/+47WUT THE F
- inactive, on 11/26/2008, -13/+56That must have been a smell to remember...
She''ll need a new oven too. It would be difficult to justify baking your DiGiorno in the same oven as your dog. - rescu911, on 11/26/2008, -1/+38Torturing animals is usually a precursor to killing people ... not just for money or other selfish reasons, but for pleasure. I really hope they catch this person, and then keep a very close eye on him as he moves through the system.
- AmyVernon, on 11/26/2008, -4/+41That's really sick.
- scoetrain, on 11/26/2008, -3/+39The police should definitely check out her neighbors-- especially if she lives in an apartment. The article says it was a poodle-Pekingese. I bet anything that it was an incorrigible barker that annoyed the ***** out of someone.
- hillkiwi, on 11/26/2008, -2/+33It's about the emotional attachment to the animal. For some people pets are like kids.
I have a pet crayfish, and I must say killing and eating lobsters gives me mixed emotions. - XISUPERMANIX, on 11/26/2008, -2/+33Tell me this isn't cute:
http://insideseam.com/skunk.JPG - jgopp, on 11/26/2008, -4/+35okay I lol'd at that comment not going to lie, the story is still ***** up though.
- Batfishy, on 11/26/2008, -2/+28yes, evilsin, microwaving a puppy is worse than going to the grocery store to buy a steak.
If you don't see a difference, there is a problem... - ahjkl67435, on 11/26/2008, -0/+26DOUCHE BAG!
- inactive, on 11/26/2008, -2/+26KILL IT WITH FI.....
oh wait - KreegsMcSteves, on 11/26/2008, -6/+29Oh go eat a tofu burger or something. This article is about a dog, not a cow.
- inactive, on 11/26/2008, -1/+24why the *****....
its not like a 5 month old puppy could possibly pose a threat to you that you would need to stick it in the oven. seriously ***** this guy i hope he gets raped and stabbed in prison, hey guess what im going to break in your house and steal your ***** and just for kicks im going to kill your dog in the oven. - Markers, on 11/26/2008, -0/+22I hope they catch that piece of ***** and bake his ass alive...
- Bith8654, on 11/26/2008, -11/+33So killing a dog merits the death penalty but killing a person doesn't?
- thenativeraver, on 11/26/2008, -4/+24Here's a pic:
http://farm1.static.flickr.com/31/103066299_96539d ... - inactive, on 11/26/2008, -2/+22ah well, what's sad is that people who do that kind of stuff to animals, often are child abusers as well. That's the sad part, these people can and do have children and treat them just like the animals they abuse. There's a strong correlation between animal abuse and child abuse.
- bwoodall, on 11/26/2008, -0/+20wow...a 2048x3072 picture of a skunk. i love the internet
- Bith8654, on 11/26/2008, -3/+21@Heapbasket: I agree, but was just pointing out how I thought it was weird that THIS was the thing making him question his opposition to the death penalty because it implies that previous cases of people killing other people failed to convince him.
- bouldertrex86, on 11/26/2008, -0/+17You know, abusing animals usually happens before moving on to people, next time it could be toddler-this person should be stopped
- m0zzie, on 11/26/2008, -5/+22Or she'd be dead.
- LDawg, on 11/26/2008, -1/+16Thumbsup for using "DiGiorno" in a sentence outside of the frozen foods aisle.
- GeeksSpeakFont, on 11/26/2008, -3/+18oh my god! that's awful.
- frjsanders, on 11/26/2008, -3/+17WTF?
- heynow21, on 11/26/2008, -0/+13It's interesting how the legions of sociopaths on digg can't understand why people care about animals.
- hillkiwi, on 11/26/2008, -1/+14If you got emotionally attached to a cow I think it would be hard to eat it.
- BoneheadFarker, on 11/26/2008, -1/+13Farm animals are (supposedly) given a bolt-gun to the back of the head that generally kills them outright. They aren't put in an oven fully conscience and cooked while still alive...
- davidbeile, on 11/26/2008, -0/+12Killing cows, pigs, chickens, and turkeys for food is different than killing senselessly for no reason at all.
- ender7074, on 11/26/2008, -2/+13This sick ***** needs to die. What kind of sociopath would do something like this? IMHO he has forfited his right live amoung humanity.
- logandurand, on 11/26/2008, -2/+12When people kill other people, there's usually a reason, however twisted it may be. This was killing for the sake thereof.
- inactive, on 11/26/2008, -0/+10A psycho? From Wisconsin? No way!
- HouseofEl, on 11/26/2008, -1/+10Should stick him in an oven and see how he likes it.
- doublefelix, on 11/26/2008, -1/+10To think it turned me nearly homicidal with rage when someone had the disrespect to jack my car stereo.
- Kruez, on 11/26/2008, -1/+10:'-(
- WhatPeriod, on 11/26/2008, -1/+10I agree that there shouldn't be a double standard with the killing of animals for consumption, but this dog wasn't killed to be eaten, it was killed out of malice.
- Cloned, on 11/26/2008, -2/+11We don't torture food animals before we eat them. Yes, they are killed, but it is done so humanely (and if it's not then there is usually a fuss made about it)
- hollywoodphony, on 11/26/2008, -0/+8Maybe the people who eat skunks wouldn't care, but I would.
- inactive, on 11/26/2008, -5/+13Sorry bury this, I realized someone else already commented on what I commented about.
- AtheistCrusader, on 11/26/2008, -0/+8I don't know how anyone can do something so terrible either. While volunteering for an animal rescue I've unfortunately come across a number of similarly disgusting abuse cases. I need to go hug my dog now...
- doublefelix, on 11/26/2008, -0/+8I have a feeling this wasn't the work of some nice little autistic kid.
- Bith8654, on 11/26/2008, -1/+9@Logandurand: Usually, but not always. What about a case were a person killed someone else for "no reason," do they deserve the death penalty?
- inactive, on 11/26/2008, -0/+8"it's odd how we sympathize more for cute creatures"
Discrimination based on visual/visceral appeal, or "superficiality", is hardwired into us. Plus many human cultures are particularly sensitive about dogs and cats, since we have evolved a close symbiotic relationship with them.
Yeah, I know some cultures eat them. But that's them. - inactive, on 11/26/2008, -0/+8Hmmmm, need to wrap that up in some bacon.
