- Troopy, on 04/16/2009, -0/+15Rubbish picture. Something from a bit further away showing the drop would be better.
- bwolf180, on 04/15/2009, -1/+9wouldn't really call him "lucky".....but holy *****
- Contradictions, on 04/15/2009, -1/+9Saved by a strong bumper and his seat belt. I'd say that's pretty damn lucky he didn't fall our or the truck didn't fall completely over.
- bkVII, on 04/16/2009, -0/+8stfu?
- snarkastic, on 04/16/2009, -0/+8Why do you feel the need to question him? Jesus!
- boredco, on 04/16/2009, -0/+6OK. "Wholly *****". That work?
- ArkRaider1936, on 04/16/2009, -0/+6Anybody else reminded of the scene in True Lies when the pelican lands on the truck balancing on the edge of the bridge?
- lazybuoy, on 04/16/2009, -0/+4I lived in China for over a year and never saw a single person put on a seatbelt. In fact, I once put on a seatbelt in a friend's car only to be admonished; he felt like it was an insult to his driving abilities. I would estimate that one in a thousand people in China wear their seatbelts. The odds of this accident happening to one of those rare drivers who actually wear a seatbelt must have been astronomical. Maybe this story will encourage more people in China to wear their seatbelts. One thing is for sure, this truck driver will definitely be buckling up from now on.
- KloroFormd, on 04/16/2009, -0/+4Holy *****. I'd like to see a few different angles.
Off-topic: The spam on Digg is getting out of control lately. - LoopyChew, on 04/16/2009, -0/+41. "([The act of] ***** with those who believe in The Holy) is [important in his life]" -- it's perfectly acceptable, grammatically, although capitalization could have been used to clarify a few things.
2. I suppose you can be pedantic about blasphemy the way some of us are about grammar, but if you want to voice your displeasure, doing so in such a passive-aggressive manner is incredibly annoying and does little to correct the blasphemer. - SaladCactusKing, on 04/16/2009, -0/+4You don't need to write "--and survived." after "Lucky truck driver."
"Lucky truck driver ended up here: and died upon impact!" - IMABBALLPLAYER, on 04/15/2009, -0/+4Words cannot describe how lucky that guy was.
- inactive, on 04/16/2009, -0/+3He'd have been luckier if he hadn't crashed at all :-P
- NateHKA, on 04/16/2009, -1/+4I read that as "Lady Truck Driver....." and wasn't surprised.
- fangor, on 04/16/2009, -0/+3***** with those who believe in the holy is ;)
- boredco, on 04/16/2009, -0/+3Me too, and I feel slightly ashamed
- bkVII, on 04/16/2009, -0/+2If he hadn't crashed at all, then all would have progressed normally and at no point in time after reaching his destination would he have thought to himself "That truck drive was lucky,"
- Snoogs, on 04/16/2009, -0/+2http://roflrazzi.files.wordpress.com/2009/01/celeb ...
- flangepiece, on 04/16/2009, -0/+2Oh great, now I have Jamie Lee Curtis in a thong lodged in my brain again. Please pass the mind-bleach.
- OrangeTide, on 04/16/2009, -0/+2Yea I saw this and thought "This is big news, someone wore a seatbelt in China."
When I am in a Chinese taxi I think I need more than a seatbelt, like a crash helmet, and maybe rollbars. - pdmac8, on 04/16/2009, -1/+3As a driving instructor, what you would need to do is ask - What was the driver doing to end up like that? In the circumstances, being held there by just the front bumper, enabling time to escape, makes him a very lucky man in my book!
- boredco, on 04/16/2009, -0/+2I'm going to try: "He was very lucky"
- piratequeen89, on 04/16/2009, -0/+2wbuffet, do you search digg for people using holy in an incorrect manner?
Just curious.. - bwolf180, on 04/16/2009, -0/+2because that's how i ***** speak man.... if im going to have *****....might as well have holy *****
- ChstrCopperpot, on 04/16/2009, -0/+1Wouldn't really call it "miraculous" either. Somebody escaped from a truck, and the only explanation for such a warping of the laws of nature that it had to be called a miracle?
- StrangeFamous, on 04/16/2009, -0/+1What are you talking about? She's HOT in that scene!
- inactive, on 04/16/2009, -0/+1The last part of your statement would sound more British if you added the word MAN! at the end.
You should try it! - ChstrCopperpot, on 04/16/2009, -0/+1I say that every time I get out of my death trap truck.
- chaos7, on 04/16/2009, -0/+1he is unlucky and lucky at the same time
- flangepiece, on 04/16/2009, -0/+1I think you have achieved a modicum of success there.
- Aardshark, on 04/17/2009, -0/+1I love the way the article implies that this incident gives a great incentive to wear your seatbelt. I mean, it's not like you should be wearing them anyway or anything. They hardly ever save lives, after all.
- OrangeTide, on 04/16/2009, -0/+1Top Headlines: "Lucky driver died instantly, passengers suffered for 6 hours."
- snarkastic, on 04/16/2009, -0/+1Just ***** off, MAN!
Happy to oblige... - piratequeen89, on 04/16/2009, -0/+1Being a douchebag makes you uncool
- snarkastic, on 04/16/2009, -3/+3Daily Mail hits the front page again. Just ***** off.
- forevernomad, on 04/16/2009, -2/+2DO NOT FEED THE TROLL!
Just giving folks a heads up. Have a nice day. :) - Gunshock, on 04/16/2009, -1/+0As a driving instructor, you're not cool.
- lifeeater46, on 04/16/2009, -3/+1I think the bumper was made in the USA.. lol
- inactive, on 04/16/2009, -3/+1Sure they can. He was as lucky as Apple was during the mortgage bubble. Now it comes down to skill and price - 2 things that Apple really doesn't do that well.
- colonelcupcake, on 04/16/2009, -6/+3You know I used to date a Chinese guy but things were headed in the Wong direction
- inactive, on 04/16/2009, -4/+1What? What does that mean? Your grammar skills are atrocious.
- inactive, on 04/16/2009, -6/+1nice. Good answer. Sort of like answering the financial collapse with printing money. Please see how well that works out for you.
- inactive, on 04/16/2009, -7/+1Why do you feel the need to add the word 'holy'? Is it something that's important in your life?
- inactive, on 04/16/2009, -17/+1Why do you feel the need to add the word 'holy'? Is it something that is important in your life? Does it make the sentence sound better? Curious.
