- punkinhat, on 11/17/2007, -6/+0and I think by American standards the poor woman would be ''average'' or plus size...this will set off a firestorm in the media, don't you think? Slippery Slope! What will be next, DNA test to see if you are a potential health drain when you travel outside the country? By that logic they shouldn't let any elderly, or folks over 60, those are the ones most likely to start draining the healthcare system.

- geneticlemon, on 11/18/2007, -0/+5Poor woman ... she's not *that* obese. She looks about 30 pounds overweight though. Hopefully, she'll be able to lose that weight. If she lives a healthy lifestyle, and she can't lose the pounds, than she might really have a serious medical condition ...
- dillyhoo, on 11/18/2007, -0/+4Okay, get ready for 100 "fat people deserve it" posts....
- SanDiego92103, on 11/18/2007, -2/+1guydudeman....... you blame this on socialized medicine? Have you any idea how the Kiwi medical system works? Probably not.
