In the late-follicular fertile phase, masculine men like jocks, marines, and rebels will pique her interest. I believe in free will, but experience tells me that this is pretty much the trend.

Many women just simply prefer the flashy guy with good looks, money, power, and smooth talk even if it causes them more headache with respect to everything the article considers (good article though). Some men are the same way. A man will put up with more antics from a flashy woman than a non-flashy one. There's some significant biological, psychological factors at work here, and rationality doesn't always trump those.

Woman are typically taught that they shouldn't be proactive towards finding a mate they should wait until someone finds them. Geeks and Nerds have learned that to avoid pain and frustration they should avoid people. So If a woman is attracted to a Geek she will rarely just go up and initiate the relationship. The geek will now initiate the relationship because of general avoidance of people. So what happens is to people not initiating anything and both figuring that both do not notice them. I remember a long time ago some woman were talking they were wondering why all the "Bitches" get the Nice Guys and all the Nice Girls get the Jerk guys. The reason is the "Bitches" will actually go to the guy and initiate the relationship with him. While the nice Girls wait and while waiting the Jerks will initiate the relationship with them.

Experience tells them if a person is to friendly to them then they want you do to do something for them, or they are playing with you.

In being that I work there, I end up having to work right up near Customer Service with all of these hot cute looking women floating all about the Customer Service desk and here I am too damn scared to make any move.
