- bixby1, on 10/30/2008, -3/+34I would actually prefer a garden gnome to that monstrosity.
- openthink, on 10/31/2008, -0/+28This guy's head looks like somebody, a celeb of some kind. Judge Reinhold? (I know, barely a celeb. Not right.) Guy from movie, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Peter Bretter, only with straight hair, comatose, zombie-like....without a body. Or not. Sometimes a stone head is just a stone head.
- WordsnCollision, on 10/31/2008, -2/+23"Would like to see the rest of the body"... that's what she said.
- Kohaxx, on 10/31/2008, -0/+14If you decapitated a giant rock titan you would put the head on your lawn to ward away his friends too.
- zebulah, on 10/31/2008, -0/+12That's the best pumpkin carving I have ever seen.
- ifruit, on 10/31/2008, -1/+12That's what she said.
- elizabethb221, on 10/31/2008, -0/+10This is not the way to get ahead in life.

- inactive, on 10/31/2008, -0/+5or this
http://blog.syracuse.com/strangecny/2007/10/UFO.bm ... - Bukowsky, on 10/31/2008, -0/+5That reminds me of the giant Sam Houston Statue on the side of the freeway in Huntsville, TX.
http://www.samhoustonstatue.org/ - inactive, on 10/31/2008, -0/+5I'm amazed at how many people missed this one.
- mycoplasma, on 10/31/2008, -0/+4Dugg because there was an ad with a picture of John McCain right next to it. The resemblance is striking.
- Sornos, on 10/31/2008, -0/+4Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!
- lovek, on 10/31/2008, -0/+4My brother, a friend, and I were in LA a couple of years ago (to see the PIR before Bob Barker retired, but I digress).
Walking down the street, we saw Judge Reinhold sitting at a sidewalk cafe eating. We tracked back again, but couldn't decide what level of celebrity he was. We spent 3-4 minutes hiding around the corner discussing whether he was:
a) Still "big" enough that he'd feel he had to be kind to him if we said hello. After all, you never know who's watching.
b) So stuck on his fading celebrity that he'd be rude and get pissy with us
c) Be so far down the list that he'd be happy just to be recognized.
We opted just to let him eat lunch. - LogicBomB, on 10/31/2008, -0/+4Thank you "The Office" for bringing back 1992. Thank you so. *****. much. >:(
- holygram, on 10/31/2008, -0/+4I will probably see a better one tomorrow.
- craighoxton, on 10/31/2008, -0/+4"They did it...damn them all, damn them all to hell!"
- JRW5061, on 10/31/2008, -0/+3i want head
- Namco, on 10/31/2008, -0/+3That disembodied head is laying on the ground.
- LogicBomB, on 10/31/2008, -0/+3I think a better idea would be to put gnomes on a specific neighbors lawn. Continuously. Whether they keep them or destroy them, just keep them coming.
- inactive, on 10/31/2008, -0/+3neither the link or burbia.com will load for me.. but i know i've seen that, or one by the same artist at an outdoor 'gallery' near walden pond.. the decordova sculpture park?
- ieatpizza, on 10/31/2008, -0/+3?
- SoyLocoMoco, on 10/31/2008, -0/+3It looks like Bill Kristol. Scary!
- chetchez, on 10/31/2008, -0/+3Why is Stephen Hawking's head on my lawn?
- EarthernJar, on 10/31/2008, -0/+3Why settle for just a head when you could also have arms and feet!
http://www.schuminweb.com/images/photography/2003/ ... - lagannt, on 10/31/2008, -0/+3Best head? Don't you mean bust head??

- qwertyxuiop, on 10/31/2008, -0/+2It looks like Peter O'Toole to me
I thought this was some sort of Caligula reference - cheeze_ballz, on 10/31/2008, -0/+2oh, that's by DC -- we went there about a year ago -- was a really hot day and the metal was blazing hot!
was quite cool to see though.
It's called 'The Awakening' -- here's more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Awakening_(sculpt ... - StormCommander, on 10/31/2008, -0/+2He's ruining the lawn... shadow in front of him made all the grass die!
- inactive, on 10/31/2008, -0/+2reminds me of the big ugly statue Mr. Burns gave to the Simpsons.
- openthink, on 10/31/2008, -0/+2That's a statue! Sam probably wouldn't have been too happy to have only his head, lying on the ground (by the side of the highway or on a lawn) as his memorial.... LOL
- Zincyams, on 10/31/2008, -0/+2I hope the problem doesn't come to a head.
- davidrools, on 10/31/2008, -0/+2there were similar sculptures all over my college campus.
http://eggheads.ucdavis.edu/tour/tour.html - PaintGamma, on 10/31/2008, -0/+2The head is from the DeCordova Museum in Lincoln Masschetts. They have a TON of awesome sculptures and that's one of them, I was there literally a week ago.
http://www.decordova.org - CaptShmo, on 10/31/2008, -0/+2was i wrong for expecting something NSFW? :(
- Chebsi, on 10/31/2008, -0/+2He's right - his name is Judge now.
- inactive, on 10/31/2008, -0/+2You are the reason the rest of the world hates America.
