- Chicken2nite, on 11/29/2007, -0/+1The 56,000 figure comes from what they figure would be the "price on the street" which is nice to hear considering they usually tend to inflate the price of confiscated pot to create a larger charge. Here in Canada they generally would go by $15 bucks a gram, so that would make 60 pounds of pot worth 400,000 bucks. Of course, that was back when the Canadian dollar was worth 60-70 cents US, and the commodities industry has since driven up the value of our dollar...
