I NEED a picture of that crazy squirrel now people!
Sir the squirrel was killed...
Well we can't show a dead squirrel with the article, go get me a picture of a squirrel, any squirrel! NOW! - ripple123, on 10/11/2007, -1/+17M-M-M-MULTIKILL! Squ1rr3l_69 is on a RAMPAGE!
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -2/+17old man you have just killed a squirrel
- yoshitomi, on 10/11/2007, -1/+16At least he succeeded. My life ambition is to catch (read: kill) a squirrel but they keep running up trees when I approach them. And when you walk over to the tree, they do that side-shuffling around the tree so that you can't see them again. How stupid do they think we are? Just because we can't see them, we're supposed to believe they're not there? Pisses me off that squirrels think I'm that stupid.
- Juaquin, on 10/11/2007, -0/+13Humans: 1
Squirrel: 3
I think we can see who will win this war. Hurry, appease them with truckloads of nuts! - whatsupimphil, on 10/11/2007, -3/+15And I thought bears were godless killing machines

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TL1uFjSbvnA - BlackCow, on 10/11/2007, -0/+10I blame video games for these squirrel rampages!
- SourWorm, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8I don't know, I'm sort of partial to "massively attacked him on the arms, hand and thigh". Like come on ... massively attacked! Either way it's a great story and the way it was written up just makes it better.
- void, on 10/11/2007, -3/+11I for one, am getting tired of the overlords joke...
- fudgeigor, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8H-H-H-H-H OOOOLY SHIIIIT!

- sanman, on 10/11/2007, -2/+7PETA is calling for a full inquiry into the extra-judicial killing of the squirrel. There will be a candlelight protest at midnight. Relatives of the squirrel are expected to attend.
- graywolf323, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5so Foamy was telling the truth after all

http://chamorrobible.org/gpw/gpw-20050503.htm - joshua5, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Aye. When changing climates cause a shortage of food the squirrels have to resort to eating humans.
- luvs2spooge, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Sounds like something straight out of The Far Side.
- emptypew, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Where's Eddie? He usually eats these damn things.
- Jonny0stars, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4It might of been on crack

http://digg.com/offbeat_news/The_Resistance_Has_Begun_Squirrels_are_taking_over
derker der - NeuroSlappy, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Well the squirrel had me cornered but I wasn't worried I had a crutch. Little know fact, crutches are like kryptonite to the average squirrel.
- themastersb, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5This reminds me of something I always used to say:
"Look at that squirrel sitting there... eating that apple..... what could he be planning" - tiger2base, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Don't worry, i got the reference! Christmas Vacation is one of my favorites!
- fudgeigor, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4Yet another martyr for the squirrel cause.
- Ozzy73, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4This was bound to happen. As soon as the lightsaber squirrels became famous, many others are trying to copy their style.
- jennamalia, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Utter proof that Digg's search system and duplicate story prompt are very broken... Or that people just don't care and post dupe stories anyway.
Dupe of SIX stories, including one dupe URL
http://www.digg.com/search?section=news&s=squirrel - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2The squirrel in question is obviously a squirello-fascist terrrist and should be captured and sent to the kind folks at littlegreenfootballs for proper disposal.
- Fogdelune, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2These squirrels ate attacked and ate a dog. Scary squirrels!

I, for one, welcome our new *squirrelly* overlords. - grymwulf, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Oh my god Foamy finally cracked?
- dstz, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Beware of weresquirrels.
- Arawn, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Though highly unlikely, squirrels can transmit rabies. They usually don't attack people.

- Jaq524, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Totally unjust. This promotes racial profiling, it does. Now squirrels all around the world will face discrimination based on the actions of one evil squirrel, and that picture isn't helping them. You can bet I'll be contacting them about this. Can you imaging if a black guy robbed a house and they put a picture of "here a black man can be seen sitting on a park bench enjoying a sandwich".
okay /sarcasm seriously I'm not that concerned with squirrel discrimination. - radio1mike, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Even if the squirrel was caught alive, it would be euthanized, decapped and sent to the state public health lab for rabies testing. Small animals usually are not candidates for rabies (they won't live after an attack by a larger rabid animal to transmit the disease themselves). But considering the amount of human exposures, post-exposure prophylaxis would be indicated.
