Now squirrels all around the world will face discrimination based on the actions of one evil squirrel, and that picture isn't helping them. You can bet I'll be contacting them about this. okay /sarcasm seriously I'm not that concerned with squirrel discrimination. - radio1mike, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Even if the squirrel was caught alive, it would be euthanized, decapped and sent to the state public health lab for rabies testing. Small animals usually are not candidates for rabies (they won't live after an attack by a larger rabid animal to transmit the disease themselves). But considering the amount of human exposures, post-exposure prophylaxis would be indicated.
