- kwirk, on 05/16/2008, -0/+19Why does adding "man" before a noun make it instantly hilarious?
Try it. In the meantime I'll be reading the rest of these comments in my man chair... - lordwow, on 05/16/2008, -0/+18I'll bet anyone money that some woman came up with the term "man cave."
No self-respecting man would call a room their "man cave" - aschmack, on 05/16/2008, -0/+16I was really expecting to read an article about a trail of beer and porn that led to a cave.
- Terrk, on 05/16/2008, -0/+11I think it's great, but at the same time, it's sad that america has come to this.
We didn't always need a "man cave". - Quicksilver4648, on 05/16/2008, -1/+10Its beautiful... *masculine tear* The man-cave is real.
- Hassassin, on 05/16/2008, -2/+10My wife's vagina is my man cave.
- Aequus, on 05/16/2008, -1/+8How much beer did that cost exactly?
- aWombat, on 05/16/2008, -0/+7We used to call this a 'fort' back in the day.
- nbcaffeine, on 05/16/2008, -0/+6nice man comment
- reddoggie, on 05/16/2008, -0/+5It's kind of embarrassing when your man cave has a leak in the roof, etc. Wouldn't over-engineering be more appropriate in the construction of the perfect testosterone fort?
- GUTTS, on 05/16/2008, -1/+5Aint nothing wrong with chillin with old school friends at The Spot.
- jwalske, on 05/16/2008, -1/+5"Man Cave?" I hope thats not what the other guys refer to it as..."You going to the Man Cave this weekend Earl?" "Yeah man, I'll be there at noon."
- ileftfark, on 05/16/2008, -0/+4Based on the headline, I thought this story was going elsewhere.
- Bicx, on 05/16/2008, -0/+3Am I the only one who thought this was referring to a psychotic homosexual who "lured" other men out to his lair using beer and power tools?
- inactive, on 05/16/2008, -0/+3Hanging over the entrance is a sign stating..... "Beta males not welcomed"
- cygnus2112, on 05/16/2008, -1/+4You've had other guys inside your "man cave"?
- GUTTS, on 05/16/2008, -0/+3Nah beer and some rifles should do it. BANG!! "Earl you okay buddy?"
- BufordT, on 05/16/2008, -0/+3"There's no rules, there's no bathroom."
Classic! - newbill123, on 05/16/2008, -1/+4Gosh, installing all those doors and windows sounds dangerous.
I hope no one broke back mountin' it. - Hassassin, on 05/16/2008, -1/+3That was mantastic.
- shoopdawoop, on 05/16/2008, -3/+5supergay
- dlowder, on 05/16/2008, -0/+2This is what the upper class British did 100 years ago -- they would go hang out at "their club", which was really a "man cave" for them to get away from all their problems.
- compuclean, on 05/16/2008, -1/+3I'd need to hook up the PS3. The man space just would not feel right without it.
- kylere, on 05/16/2008, -1/+3Ummm, anyplace named the Mancave sounds like a bar for men who prefer men.
- scottbuzz, on 05/16/2008, -1/+3"During the week Ryan Samuel, 30, is a married man working in the energy market in Richardson, Texas. But on the weekends he lures men away from their homes, wives and children with beer, camaraderie, power tools and BLOWJOBS"
- inactive, on 05/16/2008, -1/+2Could be a trap...but maybe not...
- corryface, on 05/16/2008, -1/+2that building should be where men come to frolic in the glory of manlyness. it should be renamed stagworld!
- username7D8, on 05/16/2008, -1/+2its the women!! they changed! :-(
- TheRealPilchard, on 05/16/2008, -1/+2As I read this I am sat on my man chair, at my man desk with my man mac. I just had a lovely man lunch comprising of man pasta and man coleslaw. Now I need to go for a man poop.
Taking it too far? - Hassassin, on 05/16/2008, -3/+4Why the hell is this a story on CNN? Who the hell cares? What could a bunch of grown men possibly be doing in a dilapidated shack in the middle of the woods with no power or running water? The answer, gay sex. By candle light. That's it. They're not watching sports or playing video games, they can't even keep beer cold unless they drag bags of ice out there (*****, just saw the caption about the fuel powered fridge, that's not very "green" of them). It sounds to me like this guy and his cousin are lovers and they built this place to escape their wives so they can enjoy each others strong muscular embrace. To smell each others musk as they squeeze closer together to keep warm on the cool summer nights in their "man cave". This story would have been better if these were a couple of porno grade lesbos going at it out in a shack in the middle of nowhere, at least the mental image would be a better picture.
- inactive, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1ITS A TRAP
- ceris, on 05/16/2008, -4/+5Wow, home life must suck for these guys if this is where they go to live it up....
I mean, I can see if you're 14 or so and hanging with your friends, but an adult with children? Really? - fuzzybeard, on 05/19/2008, -0/+1There is a certain validity to your logic.
- Hassassin, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1http://manbabies.com/
- xEn1gma, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1Seeing how I live in Richardson, I need to find this "beer cave" ASAP.
- Hassassin, on 05/16/2008, -1/+2Keep your pity, for when you come over to my man cave...
- bincoder, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1Nice little shack. Back in the day the garage was the mancave. The fumes from the disassembled 1957 chevy engine block, soaking in petrochemical degreasers, were a bit much for the delicate noses of the children and wimmin folk along with the acrid scent of sweat, cigars, beer and gasoline. A group of guys could spend hours upon hours in there doing all manner of strange things (no, not hot gay sex) and were generally left alone. So much better than now, where everything must be done in a new york minute, and then you die from heart failure.
- Hassassin, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1manbabies.com/
- tower31, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1"I have no idea where that window came from," he said.
"My cousin was driving down the highway in Oklahoma. He pulls over and there are 10 rolls of roofing paper on the side of the road," Samuel said.
Those were my two favorite quotes.
Can you say redneck thieves..... - restlessmouse, on 05/16/2008, -0/+0Mine too
- Marinium, on 05/16/2008, -1/+1I was thinking the same thing Combatchuck.
- restlessmouse, on 05/16/2008, -0/+0They probably needed to get away from people who are always judging others on how "green" they are. sheesh
- gryphon50, on 05/16/2008, -1/+1but they do, that's the sad part.
- actionscripted, on 05/16/2008, -1/+1Stay away from the creamy man noodles -- they're not what you think.
- dafragsta, on 05/16/2008, -2/+2Love the chairs!
- madman1969, on 05/16/2008, -0/+0To the Man Cave !
- seeyounorth, on 05/16/2008, -1/+1Genius, well done.
- Nevarius, on 05/16/2008, -1/+1Even better if you add a gay tone of voice to it while reading it.
