- GawtMilk, on 10/12/2007, -1/+21Not as gross as the soda here called "Fanta Lactic". Carbonated milk drink with white grape extract!
- unloud, on 10/12/2007, -0/+19No, Beer + Milk = Barf.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16"The truth is, there is no hared evidence on either side."
Hared evidence = bunny milk?
0_o - mattsidesinger, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16This is old news ... I did this with my kids when they were infants.
- groo68, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14the sum is the same with Barf + milk.
- kenvsryu, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10Now if they can only make this come out of women's breasts., it would be heaven on earth.
- custerfluck, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7@AkatsukiNoTobi you should try Ben & Jerry's Black & Tan. It is very tasty. It's chocolate + cream stout flavored ice cream.
- scheper, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7@rammsteined
If you think cows are milked once a week, I seriously doubt you've ever worked on a farm.
You don't round up the herd to milk them either. - roosterjm2k2, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7plugues..
Bring 100 of the worlds top nutritional scientists into a room and ask them if milk is good for you.
I bet you split them 50/50.
The truth is, there is no hared evidence on either side. Vitamin D and Calcium are good for you, but too much vitamin D is detrimental. The few bacteria that survive the pasturization process are good for your digestive tract.
Its like everything else, its probably good in moderation (like wine) but going nuts on it is bad... - porcelainduck, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5beer + cheerios = beerios try it.
- DarthFredd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5If the japanese keep using up all the Awesome, there won't be any left for us!
- sideshowRAHEEM, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Scientist say the hardest part was finding cows that really liked to party.
- CatalystDM, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5A mug of meer...
- ZennZero, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Beer with milk is nothing new really -- even as a mass produced product in the western world. You can probably find milk stout locally if you look around. It isn't bad stuff but you will feel like you just drank dinner. Kinda tastes like a Guinness milkshake.
- HarryBauzonia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Where do you buy your human milk? Is it cheap?
- plugues, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4along with the good bacteria, which don't necessarily have to come from milk (same goes for Vitamin D), you also absorb a lot of bovine leukemia viruses, which have a good chance of surviving the pasteurization process and are linked to the rise in breast cancer rates. and that goes for the applications where milk is actually pasteurized. a lot of the fine cheese are made from rough milk.
to sum it up, there really isn't any of the good stuff humans need that you can ONLY get from milk, but if you consume it you'll inevitably absorb a lot of the bad stuff, such as hormones, antibiotics, fat, excessive protein and microbia. - A2Ska, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3The Japanese have some taste buds. Have you ever had a Japanese beer?
It might be an improvement. - SteelChicken, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2industries should stop trying to trick people in buying things they don't want.
- Frost9999, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I don't know of a time limit for digg, so what is your point? And why did you click on the link and create a comment about it? I am genuinely interested in your answers. Actually I am sure many others would like to know too. And no, I'm not being sarcastic, I really do want to know.
- m0shen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Wow, I'm kinda surprised at all the negative comments. Combining beer and milk isn't something new... and it tastes good! It's not uncommon for people in some countries (Jamaica i know specifically) to combine guiness and sweet condensed milk (1:1 ratio in a small glass if anyone cares).
The milk cuts into the Hoppyness making the entire experience smoother.
This is not to mention all of the "milk" stouts out there made with lactose.
Experiment a little. Get a little tipsy if necessary. - steve693, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3How is it stolen? The actual name of the product is Bilk.
- ahhell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I just threw up a little in mouth.
- DatDamWuf, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2dugg just because the guy makes beer from milk and potatoes, genius - doctorsax, bet you would drink it if all other beer was gone LOL
- mrmcgoo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2One part beer + one part milk is called a horse jizz. i lost a bet once and had to drink one. i eventually did throw up. i was surprised how long I held it down.
- MattH, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Beer Ice Cream ....Newcastle Brown Ale flavour
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/tyne/2958702.stm - ahhfresh, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1As a kid, I had a friend who's whole family drank cream soda + milk. It actually wasn't that bad..
- r00t3d0ut, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Laverne & Shirley would be proud!
(remember milk and pepsi) - Stopher, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I put it on my Cheerios.

- HarryBauzonia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I bought some cold coffee once in Nagasaki. So see fellas? I did at least try it.
I saved one can; I had to prove it existed to my family, and it was named "Georgia" and I'm from there; but the other can went in the trash after my first sip. Then it was off to the bathroom to brush my teeth.
Jesus has since forgiven me. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1yep i know no im not spaming im just saying that this is old and this podcast i download all the time chat about it 7days befor you put this story up and can i just say have you guys ever try better popcor bear i did it was good

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stout#Milk_stout - HarryBauzonia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Nasty.
...but they drink iced coffee too. I think the Japanese might have malfunctioning taste buds. - CatalystDM, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Most of the world drinks iced coffee... how is that significant?
- dacheetah, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1They are sold out, it sounds like people want it...
- dacheetah, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Have fun with your raw food diet, humans are the only known species to cook their food also. Very few animals wash their food before eating it, and they usually eat it off the ground, often caked in dirt.
Now I have no objection to eating fruit straight from the tree, or snow peas straight from the vine, but IMHO, dirt tastes bad, raw meat tastes bad. A well cooked chicken breast stuffed with camembert (made from bovine milk) however is a very tasty meal, and with a balanced diet provides me with everything I need to survive. - dacheetah, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I would say that is pretty much the most logical title, and as such as some people are logical in their approach to title-making, it would be the title for more than one article about the same combination.
- dacheetah, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Sounds like a plan. And if it tastes bad, I can always wash it down with some spirits.
- HarryBauzonia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I feel bad for people who are too poor to afford hot coffee, but folks who can and drink it cold on purpose????......well....I'll pray for your souls.
Off to get myself another steaming cup. - cocoamix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This is nothing new. People have been drinking carbonated, alcoholic milk for ages.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kumis - scheper, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I don't think he's actually commenting on the story, I think he's just spamming.
- tw0k1ngs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Along with a shload of other stuff that will provide the opposite of "helping you survive."
I suppose in your opinion, all the people doing EXACTLY what you so despise in third world countries aren't as evolved and "human" as us westerners?
I suppose you assume the info about the milk so "good" for you was obtained from your doctorate in medicine and not some milk commercial or your (most likely) conservative upbringing.
Oh if you TRULY knew what was in your precious camembert... When someone tries to attack a liberal viewpoint out of their taken offense and not out of actual RESEARCH... who do you think is going to know more? Me. -
