- im2emo4myshrt, on 11/13/2009, -1/+27I am glad I am reading this now that my roommates are asleep, or else they would think I am ***** crazy.
- Xaevier, on 11/13/2009, -3/+28We need a beer can made of bacon stat!
- Briones07, on 11/13/2009, -1/+25Guilty
- thorb, on 11/13/2009, -0/+23I said it at least 20 times. Quietly. Alone in my room.
- Rikushix, on 11/13/2009, -0/+22I said "beer can" in a british voice a few times, didn't really understand how similar it was...and then I imagined a Jamaican man in my head shouting "BACON" and I laughed and choked at the same time as it all fit together.
Then I realized I sounded retarded and now I'm going to go to bed. - KingGorilla, on 11/13/2009, -0/+21How else would you know it's true?
- tymufc, on 11/13/2009, -3/+23No, because thats how the internets works. ***** gets circulated for all to enjoy. Stop whining please.
- fajitamelt, on 11/13/2009, -0/+17Of course Jamaican is a race. Same with Jewish, blind, and homosexual.
- Laminarcissus, on 11/13/2009, -0/+14Jamaican is not a race, Jamaican is a nationality.
The racial makeup of the nation of Jamaica is
Black/African descent: 90.9%
East Indian 1.3%
White 0.2%
Chinese 0.2%
Mixed 7.3%
Other 0.1%.
If they were born and raised there, they all speak with a Jamaican accent -- African-Jamaicans, European-Jamaicans, and Chinese-Jamaicans alike. - EmperorAwesome, on 11/13/2009, -2/+13I'm sorry, racial humor?
- christoast, on 11/13/2009, -1/+12Yeah I know, I was just joking.

- jumbalia, on 11/13/2009, -2/+11Seriously, what does it matter? Would it make you feel more fulfilled knowing that what gets posted on reddit is only seen by you and other reddit users. Is that what this is about? You're afraid that your bastion away from mainstream is having some of its content mimicked by a popular website and that makes you feel less special?
Or do you just like to complain about things which are of absolutely no consequence or importance? - pinkdigg, on 11/13/2009, -4/+12Not all of us go to Reddit, at least I don't. :)
- pizzaface200, on 11/13/2009, -1/+9*Raises hand*

- soul3n, on 11/13/2009, -0/+5inevitable douche that lists whats already seen in the picture (check)
- norwegianlegion, on 11/13/2009, -5/+10It was posted somewhere else before Reddit, too. What's the ***** point?
- Rikushix, on 11/13/2009, -0/+5This one is getting up there in terms of mind = blown, but nothing will ever in my opinion top the front paged story from as long as two years ago that revealed to everyone that the clouds in Super Mario Bros. are the exact same shape as the bushes, only white instead of green.
- radzack, on 11/13/2009, -1/+5I just said it like 6 times.
- Charun, on 11/13/2009, -0/+4no, it wasn't
- kindofageek, on 11/13/2009, -1/+5I read Digg first and if I have time I may browse over to Reddit. Oddly enough, I often find myself thinking "hey that bastard ripped this link off Digg." But then I remember how the Internet/WWW is a web of millions of interlinking computer systems with a system of hyperlinks that makes it so that any connected person on the face of the planet can link to any particular page. Hey, I'm no genius, but something tells me that this was posted on http://i.imgur.com/ before it was ever linked to on Reddit.
- Phoosh, on 11/13/2009, -1/+5Yep.
- Laminarcissus, on 11/13/2009, -0/+4Ha! How the hell is that racial humor?
- Idiggapony, on 11/13/2009, -0/+41. Nobody's making fun of anyone.
2. There's nothing racist about any of this.
3. Neither "British" nor "Jamaican" is a race. - Dbeneath, on 11/13/2009, -1/+5You just blew my ***** mind.

- 15thPD, on 11/13/2009, -0/+3Britain (The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland) is comprised of 4 separate countries; England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. There is an English accent, a Scottish accent, a Welsh accent, and an Irish accent. They all sound drastically different to my ears. There is no "British accent".
- chumleyuk, on 11/13/2009, -1/+4Paul McCartney was from Liverpool, he had a Liverpudlian accent which is in England. Scotland is in Britain but they speak in a 'Scottish' accent not a 'British' accent. Saying British is an accent is like saying European is an accent. Get a passport.

- victorsage, on 11/13/2009, -0/+2@Skankingmike
And, while we're at it, why not make fun of the caucasian guy from Arkansas because he has a southern accent and call that racism? Or how about we make fun of the black guy from Iowa because of his midwestern accent and call that racism?
You know, since we're making fun of different racial ethnic nationalities accents. - Laminarcissus, on 11/13/2009, -1/+3@spelunker:
Did you read what you copy and pasted?
1) "non-exclusive"
2) These rights apply primarily to what Reddit is allowed to do with the content, not rights that Reddit claims to hold over the content
and, *by far* the most important:
3) Reddit users cannot grant rights that they themselves do not hold. This clause prevents Reddit users themselves from making any claim against the content, but does not extend any claim to the original copyrighted material because it cannot.
The poster is unlikely to be the valid copyright holder of the cartoon and, as such, can't grant ownership. Conversely, if the Reddit poster is the original owner then they not only just forfeited all rights to Reddit, but also "authorized others to do so" and, in copyright terms, are idiots.
That said, the clause is likely so broad as to be unenforceable and it's not like the cartoon cures cancer, so big ***** deal. - MaruLono, on 11/13/2009, -1/+3Closest thing i could find:
