- DannyAndNina, on 10/10/2007, -0/+31makes me wonder if everyone else who uses Comcast gets at least one jumbo postcard from them in the mailbox every week as well...
- theshizzler, on 10/11/2007, -1/+26My wife actually stockpiles the damned things like they're in short supply or something. Worst part is, she manages to use quite a few of them. :(
- duggtodeath, on 10/10/2007, -1/+23This is called the AOL approach.
- sato, on 10/11/2007, -2/+23Seriously. Stop sending me useful discount coupons and start sending me plain old ads!
- Hosalabad, on 10/11/2007, -4/+25I got one today!
- hilandhall, on 10/11/2007, -2/+21uh.... why don't you just have yourself removed from their mailing list?
http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/unsubscribe.asp?or ... - MattnJax, on 10/10/2007, -2/+18I hate those ***** things. I get them in the Mall all the time.
Now, if only Target would send 20% off cards. Cause come on people, isn't Bed, Bath, and Beyond just a glorified, more expensive version of Target? - nsummy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+14Haha that's great. I've gotten about 3 of them since moving into my new place 2 months ago. The closest Bed, Bath, and Beyond is probably 2 hours away. I never thought much of it until I read this.
- ferndave, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12Is it true that they don't really expire even though they have a date on them? My girlfriend has that stuck in her head and therefore keeps a drawer full of them. Help me get rid of them!
- Renuvian, on 10/10/2007, -1/+13My wife makes me save them too. Only we NEVER ***** USE THEM. I could probably wallpaper our bedroom with them.
- theteller, on 10/10/2007, -2/+11It is funny. I must get like a dozen every week and I'm nowhere near a store. What are they thinking? There's gotta be a good entertaining use for these cards.
- Vodka2389, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9No, it's just you. You're their favorite consumer.
- nanboya, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9Just send the stuff back marked "Tenant Deceased" or "Tenant Abducted by Aliens"
- msashlay, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7They'll take them even if they're expired. You can also use them at Linen n Things.
- timbellomo, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9I use them all the time. I quite enjoy the savings... what''s the big deal?
- quaxon, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9It makes me so sick how much ***** junk mail is given to people on a daily basis. think about it, every ***** mailbox in the country is filled with this ***** DAILY. The amount of resources that go into this stuff must be phenomenal (and not just the sheer amount of trees, but also the transport and turning it into paper...). They need to ***** do something about it. Why dont they just mail everyone a small index card each month with all the different businesses that want to send ads on it and you can check off who you want to receive junk mail from, send the card back and you only get what you will use. That is a whole industry right there. ***** humans.
- oslointhesummer, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Target rules
- hilandhall, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9uh..why dont you just have yourself removed from their mailing list?
http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/unsubscribe.asp?or ... - benchwarmer, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7at Bed, Bath and Beyond
- Frenzytom, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6To think, things are 20% MORE expensive for all the people who don't get them...
- xstarsprinklesx, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6They would be more useful if:
a) they weren't so huge that they didn't fit into a medium size purse (or even a coupon book) without folding into quarters and
b) BB&B weren't already so overpriced that saving 20% still isn't getting that good a deal. - Estaris, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Are you Crazy!???!!!! I know woman, such as myself, that wait for those coupons every month! There is ALWAYS someones birthday, event, something breaking in the house. Why would I want someone to stop sending me something that saves me money for stuff I have to buy anyways?
SO :p :p :p ! shhhh I like 'em! :) - LoadStar, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Linens and Things is just as bad. I think there isn't a week that goes by that I don't get a 20% off card from either LNT or BBB. (I begin to wonder if they're secretly the same company under two different names.)
- sirbeta, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Part of the letter, about traveling distance and how it's not feasible... Reminds me of the thing I have against Sonic (the fast food place) - The closest one to me is nearly 200 miles away. I'm not sure what they're smoking, but their smoothies are not *that* good that I'm going to drive out that far to get one. Yet every other commercial displayed on TV is for Sonic. It maddens the mind.
- pintomp3, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6why is a valid email required to unsubscribe from direct mail? sounds like a trap. get junk mail plus spam instead.
- sstidman, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I think we might be married to the same woman. My wife loves those things, too.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -4/+8bed bath and beyond, ***** YEA!!
- openthink, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I know, that's one of funniest things about them. They're these cards, you think they're no big deal and suddenly you notice, you've got piles of them everywhere! Probably should wallpaper a bed bath & beyond store with them!
- Firehed, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Obviously well over 20%.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4No, it isn't. At least not for the Bed and Bath part. Don't know about the Beyond.
- trump48257, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6They actually let you use multiple ones (up to 7) and they honor expired ones. And Linens & Things honors an unlimited number BB&B's at their store.
- Firehed, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3In contrast to what it says on the card. I think they do it that way so you can feel special when they say "oh, just this once, I'll let you use the expired one, since you didn't notice before coming" or something like that.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Comment Buried, ***** YEAH!
- WickedDrag0oN, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I know! What the *****. I live in San Diego, the closest Sonics to me is in Anaheim. They have been playing those commercials for almost 10 years.
- EsenceOfPoultry, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5You can also use them at Linen's n' things .... oh damn it did I say that, *****!
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3i live like two blocks from a BB&B. ive never paid full price for anything there. not that they have anything to buy in that place. its all blankets and as-seen-on-tv kitchen tools.
- rugrat54, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5I thought I was the only one... =(
There should be a block list like we have with phones, every 5 years. - Schmapdi, on 10/10/2007, -4/+7What's the problem? I love those things - I tend to only get 1-2 a month, usually I get a new one about the time some of the old one(s) expire.
I saved $40 on my new Braun 360 razor with one a few months ago. And it's nice because I usually get at least one Christmas present for somebody there. If anyone needs to be stopped from using the post office its Victoria's Secret. - lmcplatte, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3You did? On Columbus Day?
- divad1978, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I saved $120 on a vacuum cleaner a few months ago with one of those cards. The final price was much cheaper than had I ordered from any site online as well because I checked a few first.
- raynar, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Maybe the poster should try and use the card. It's not "one use per visit", it's "one use per item". The wife and I took about 10 in, and had 10 different purchases, and got 20% off of each one. Stupid douche bag. Try using something before you post on your ***** blog.
- zakool21, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3You sound like a really intelligent digger. I think the point is that many of us are getting these damned coupons when we don't have a store anywhere near us! I get them about once a week and haven't even considered using them. Seriously, try overstock.com and you'll get WAY better deals on nicer stuff than you would with that 20% off coupon at BB&B.
- infinityplus1, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Beyond... don't they sell remotes?
- cyberscape2, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Build a bed out of them.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3YAY PRICE DISCRIMINATION!!
- masterm1nd, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4You *****, do you know how much coal was burned for you to type that.
- carlvjack, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I get them and the wife uses every one
I think all the guys bitching don't need to buy much stuff for their basements - bstew22, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2might hit home depot if i have some time....
- jerbaker, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Not only do they never expire, but there is no limit on the number of them you can use per visit.
- bvaughn, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2You got the 600 dollar Dyson? It makes me wonder how much the markup is on those things are if they can just knock it down to 480 like that.
