this pisses me off so much. please understand. - dominasian, on 10/12/2007, -3/+356 hours to get police over there and they didn't, they didn't even close the bank to asess losses, wow they deserved to get robbed again
- SirNoobius, on 10/12/2007, -0/+31the guy probably saw that they didn't even bother getting the police there so he phoned his buddy and he went there and robed them too.
- Sorte, on 10/12/2007, -1/+32The robber was reported to be a red-ish brown robot who robbed the bank with a knife, and took off with the money...and I pen.

"Wesley Novack, a system administrator in Phoenix, is a review coordinator for Club CD Freaks. He prefers Maxell and Verbatim media along with the reigning favorite."
We'd never get along, I'm more of a taiyo yuden man myself. - Kale, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9"Insane in the Mainframe". That was an awesome episode.
- geofferensis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8"The man escaped in a silver Honda Civic or Saab"
So they couldn't tell if it was a Saab or a Honda? Man, some designer in Sweden has got to be crying right now.
(Not knocking Honda, but there is a bit of a price difference between the two brands and one of Saab's key elements is that its cars are supposed to be unique.) - russvan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8signatures=spam
- monkeyrun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7"There's someone out there that knows these two guys."
wow .. how did they figure this out. - spyd4r, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Roberto: "Hands up! This is a stickup again!"
Bender: "Wow, hitting the same place three times? I admire your style, Roberto."
Roberto: "Gimme the remaining dough. And all the calendars. And that pen! Try to tear it so most of the beads are on my end!" - starfisch, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7and rip it so that most of the beads are on my side!
- rumor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5spam less.
- yensed, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Actually, The 2nd guy was just asking for directions.
- guttervoice, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3That happened where I live in SC. The bank was robbed ON FOOT two days in a row. To make it better, the police station in about 75 feet from the bank!
- idonthack, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I gotta practice my knifin'.
Ha-HA! - PueSi, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Everytime I pay my bills i feel robbed.
Does that count? - shinynew, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Some one should call the bank and tell them they will be robbed a third time.
"Just like how inside me I've got the heart of a human" -best line in the episode. - jerr0328, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This just makes me wonder, if you write a note asking for money like the robber did, and the bank gives you the money (no gun or anything shown), is it still robbery? I mean, the bank gave the money away, without a fight. I don't condone robbing, but I think that one could probably get a lawyer good enough to have the robber get his charges dropped because of that. Seriously, what's the difference then between that and paying your bills? You would call the cops every time you paid a bill and say they robbed you!
- commongiga, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"Now stand back. I gotta practice my stabbing."
- signal15, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Banks try to keep as low a profile as possible when they are robbed. You rarely hear about robberies in the news, but they get robbed way more often than you think. Also, something like 60% of bank robberies go unsolved. If they publicize the robberies and never catch anyone, more people are going to try it.
When I was going to the U of MN, one of the banks along my walking route to school was robbed 6 times in one year. I walked by a couple of times when they were closed afterwards and saw cops in there. I met a girl at a party that worked there and she told me that this particular branch usually got robbed at least 3 times a year. My fiance worked for a bank in a nice neighborhood in florida for about 6 months, and it was robbed 3 times while she was working. - AriaStar, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Heh, it's Wachovia. So damned many phishing e-mails are floating around using Wachovia.
- Jrr6415sun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Fry: W-why wold you hold up the same bank twice??
Roberto: Ah, that first time was just to case the joint and rob it a little.. - anagoge, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3When will Jack Bauer be making an appearance?
- wafflez, on 10/12/2007, -0/+21. explain to me this 'corruptness'
2. they make money and they hold yours, at no moral standpoint do they 'deserve' getting robbed *****. - kagelump, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4::There has been a report of a third robbery, here is a witness account::
fRaz0r> there was a guy who ran into a bank with a gun and shouted freeze mother stickers this is a *****
http://www.bash.org/?40252 - LordLucless, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Not sure what it's like in America - I hear you have a tonne of different banks. Here in Australia, we have only a few major banks - Westpac, St George, Commonwealth, a few others. Everyone is paid directly into their bank accounts - its impossible to get paid without one - banks have a captive customer base. They now pay next to no interest on the balance of transaction accounts (mine earns at 0.01%), and charge fees for withdrawal, balance checks, account keeping, and pretty much everything except deposits. It costs around $20 to cancel a cheque.
While they're charging all these fees, they're investing your money. In recent years, banks have made record profit increases *every year*, and fees have increased *every year*. Because there is a significant barrier to entry in getting in to the banking industry, new players cannot come in and offer lower-fee options. And the big players just match each others' every increase. People are getting quite sick of it.
Now, that doesn't deserve robbery, but it does explain the above posters allegation of corruption. - atlacatl, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Ouch! A Saab or Honda...
- coasterswim, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You're telling me you wouldn't have a hard time distinguishing between these two cars as they sped away?:

http://www.handa-accessories.com/98civic.jpg - Johnny87, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1No shinynew... the best lines in the episode:
Fry: What is the meaning of this sign?
Hermes: Thats A plus sign you spiky-haired loon... stop thinking your a robot... - VeganG, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That's more than I would've been able to describe. I can pretty much tell you what color "car" it was, and that's about it.
- ShrimpCrackers, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1LordLucass
Sounds like its high time to start your own bank. So you too can exploit the Australian masses. - Odjn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What a bad bank.
- shamshamsham, on 11/30/2008, -0/+1wow, 2 times in 24 hours. that is pretty unbelievable
http://civicauctions.com - shinynew, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Man i wish i was in the lord gang, Then people would have my back.
- jftitan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1logic.... (ok, it was some detective sleuthing...)
- BeardedTacoFish, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0How does someone mix up a Saab and a Honda?! Saab cars are incredibly distinct, with soft European curves and no sharp corners. Whereas a Honda Civic is... well it's a Civic, not a Saab.
- MFF37, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0hmm you would think they would have learned there lesson the first time LOL
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -9/+4Futurama reference, fools!
- sooperdooper, on 10/12/2007, -9/+3I'm in ur X, Y'in ur Z!!!
- lordmetroid, on 10/12/2007, -9/+2Whatever, the banks are corrupt anyway!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -20/+2Was it the police that robbed the bank the second time around? :-P
Talk about a BAD day!
Thanks, Wes
