- clogon, on 04/17/2008, -1/+14I want that refrigerator that will allow me to watch the playoffs while eating at the table. This is cool stuff!
- foxhaze, on 04/18/2008, -5/+1Except for the fact that it's a stupid idea, yeah, that would be cool!
- ereg, on 04/18/2008, -3/+1Not to mention the Jetsons would NOT envy this, they had a machine that could spontaneously generate any food they want! They had a device that created mater!!!
- foxhaze, on 04/18/2008, -5/+1Except for the fact that it's a stupid idea, yeah, that would be cool!
- Anglemona, on 04/17/2008, -1/+14Smart refrigerator!
- MarkDykeman, on 04/18/2008, -0/+18I like the idea behind the microwave
- ssj2119, on 04/18/2008, -0/+3I like the goggles you have that let you see behind the image of a microwave!
- mali1, on 04/18/2008, -0/+1THEY DO NOTHING!!!
- ssj2119, on 04/18/2008, -0/+3I like the goggles you have that let you see behind the image of a microwave!
- Bukowsky, on 04/18/2008, -0/+20A microwave that scans barcodes & automatically adjusts it's cooking time & temp, depending on the barcode from the package? Now that's pretty effin' sweet!
- ssj2119, on 04/18/2008, -0/+2we have that over here in the UK - Smart Ovens, Marks and Spencers packages their food with the special barcodes infact :)
- mobilehavoc, on 04/18/2008, -0/+13IMHO, the whole TV on the refridgerator is the stupidest thing in the world....yes, let me stand 6 inches from the fridge and watch TV instead of sitting on my comfy couch and watching my 60" HDTV only a few feet away.
- surKaz, on 04/18/2008, -1/+4well, you can use it to look up some stuff while cooking, or hand-write a quick note or stuff..
And you can watch some show while cooking as well...
The TV thing is not it's only and main option..
- surKaz, on 04/18/2008, -1/+4well, you can use it to look up some stuff while cooking, or hand-write a quick note or stuff..
- louiebaur, on 04/18/2008, -4/+3That is a pretty cool fridge
- voxtarri, on 04/18/2008, -1/+10The fridge would be cooler if it told you what supplies you already have in order to make the recipes. The microwave on the other hand... ***** awesome.
- OgniAsuob, on 04/18/2008, -0/+8I don't need or want any of this stuff. I want more time.
- CDep, on 04/18/2008, -1/+7The Internet Controlled Refrigerator Oven!!! I love it!
- surKaz, on 04/18/2008, -0/+2ooh... that could be dangerous...
Your food could be burnt to a crisp because of some funny guy
- surKaz, on 04/18/2008, -0/+2ooh... that could be dangerous...
- str3ama, on 04/18/2008, -0/+6until we have flying cars and machines that dress you up, I don't think there's reason for any jealousy. I'll admit that fridge looks cool, but do you really need hd-lcd on your fridge.
- GemStar38, on 04/18/2008, -0/+5Refrigerator and oven all in one seems like a really weird combo but I want one!
- diggur, on 04/18/2008, -0/+4Great, now Dick Cheney knows what I've got growing mold in my fridge. Keep out of my groceries, Dick!
- LadyDub, on 04/18/2008, -0/+1A low end fridge with a cheap tv built in that came out 5 years ago, wow. I'm a kitchen designer, and there are many, many appliances out there on the market that are alot cooler. I'll design you an outdoor hot tub with a kegorator tap within reach, and a floating remote to the nearby TV.
- surKaz, on 04/18/2008, -0/+4floating remote?.. float in the water is ok...
Floating in the air (considering no drifting around either)... now I'd buy that.. - dpazar2, on 04/18/2008, -0/+1Can I be your friend?
- rtcrooks, on 04/18/2008, -0/+2Everyone is amazed by you.
- surKaz, on 04/18/2008, -0/+4floating remote?.. float in the water is ok...
- diggface5000, on 04/18/2008, -3/+1I'm really not seeing the progress here. Who cares if you can't send text messages to your appliances? There are stove tops now that boil water lighting fast- that is cool! My dryer tells me when my lint trap is full so I don't forget to empty it. The only one of these that is an improvement is the microwave if you are eating a lot of packaged food. If you are like a lot of people and use it mostly for leftovers, there is no barcode to scan anyway.
- surKaz, on 04/18/2008, -0/+6I've always wanted to text my appliances.
Now I can send my messages to me BFF Refrigerator
- surKaz, on 04/18/2008, -0/+6I've always wanted to text my appliances.
- triplescoop, on 04/18/2008, -4/+2Wasn't every character in the Jetsons like... white?
- ereg, on 04/18/2008, -2/+0Kind of, the Jetson's was set in a future where after years on interbreeding the darker skin tones were made lighter over time. As such an idea of black or white was moot as interracial couple mated. Seeing as you can make dark skin light, but not light skin dark it is likely that eventually (after thousands of years) we will all be one skin color, and it would likely be white.
- WordsnCollision, on 04/18/2008, -0/+1Interesting, but how does that explain the all-white nature of The Flintstones?

- liljay2k, on 04/18/2008, -1/+5BTW...LG makes a refrigerator with TV's in it, i saw 1 at a house when we went house hunting.
- jeremyduffy, on 04/18/2008, -1/+5Keep in mind that most of these use RFID which creates a huge privacy problem. If you throw away the packaging with the RFID tags intact, marketers can scan your trash to get an idea of what kinds of junkmail and marketing to smother you with. These things are cool, but don't forget the security issue.
- natdowner, on 04/18/2008, -0/+6How about appliances that do all of the work for us? If it were truly jetson type appliances, then i would think I wouldn't even have to put the food in the fridge or the oven, it would already be there for me.... ah... now that would be truly something to be jealous of...
- Duggan360, on 04/18/2008, -0/+8They had a robot maid, They wouldn't be jealous.....
- WriterSD, on 04/18/2008, -0/+2You can get those in Japan
- dunderballer, on 04/18/2008, -0/+1They make a kitchen model now? Mine is just for the bedroom.
- WriterSD, on 04/18/2008, -0/+2You can get those in Japan
- WriterSD, on 04/18/2008, -0/+3The smart laundry room appliance is cool, but it would be better if it came with a lock so no one could steal your laundry while you're waiting for the text message that it's done. :-/
- GemStar38, on 04/18/2008, -0/+1I doubt these will be in any public areas, most likely just in single dwelling houses.
- dunderballer, on 04/18/2008, -0/+2The real real time-consumer in the kitchen is preparation--not turning on the oven, but mixing ***** and getting ingredients and all that. Hot Pockets already solved that problem. And they should really be cooked for 1:50 rather than the package specification of 2:00 so the bar code scanner microwave would help. What they should work on is a microwave with a reverse, so when you turn a hot pocket into a boiling pile of goo, you can cool it off before downing it.
- dpazar2, on 04/18/2008, -0/+1Dude, I am excited!
- greatgatsbyII, on 04/18/2008, -0/+1HGTV baby! I want that!!
- Ganja420, on 04/18/2008, -0/+2Come on no Japanese toilets?
- borez, on 04/18/2008, -0/+1SMS compatible washing machine: That's gotta be the laziest invention I've ever heard of, no wonder the Western world's getting fatter.
- SmellyFingers, on 04/18/2008, -2/+1Needs more self-lubricating vibrator.
Yes...I'm a man. - clevelandcarole, on 04/20/2008, -0/+0Out of all of them, the barcode scanning microwave sounds the best for me. Yep, too much processed food ingested here!
