- haentz, on 10/10/2007, -2/+28Who else expected something different and was delighted to see real fruit?
- alexkim804, on 10/10/2007, -4/+24hmm... do starving countries get mad when they see us doing stuff like this?
- DeathJux, on 10/10/2007, -0/+16Hello Dawn,
Just a friendly tip: promoting your own website in digg comments is a one-way ticket to digg-downs-ville. - saiyanate, on 10/10/2007, -1/+17Looks wasteful.
- JoseCuervo, on 10/10/2007, -4/+16Incredible waste of food
- allaboutdatiki, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10damn, I'm hungry ...
- illogicz, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10Popups? What are those?
- sophiaperennis, on 10/10/2007, -4/+13How about them Apples!
- k3vinmartian, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8Dawn M. Wilson,
You do not need to leave your signature on every comment you make, or any for that matter. We can clearly see your avatar name. If we should happen to care what your real name is we will look at your profile. In addition, please stop spamming digg with your personal blog links. You will be dugg down and possibly banned if you continue. - Molnies, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9This piece of art is from Kivik, Sweden. Every year (since 1988) they put together a new art work in time for the annual apple market. Check out http://www.applemarknaden.se/appletavlor.html for more pictures
- yohnkrb, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Art that expires
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -7/+14So many hungry children around the world. They stick them on walls. Good job!
- ricksite, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7This must be the apple version of stained glass windows.
- dogjoy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6IE
- hammerpants, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Hungry people don't have internet...droppin' MASLOW on you, mofo!
- PerfektXj, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7mirror with no popups http://m3.bestpicever.com/piles/?s=appleart
- bohemian1, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5I REALLY hope that those apples were eaten after these photographs were taken!
- MxSam, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Wait, what a waste of apples. A LOT of apples.
- Abomonog, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6I was hoping that someone had hacked up a bunch of Apple computers and made something artful out of them.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5To reel 'em in, you gotto put iPhone.. unlock... firmware... unbrick...unlock...
something like that on the headline! - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5I would be more impressed if hippy artists who scream about all the things everyone does wrong and how wasteful everyone is didn't waste a very nutritious food item for what they conceive as art.
- tripz216, on 10/10/2007, -3/+7This is ridiculous! Think of all the starving people out there. why not just give all those apples to the poor instead of letting them rot on a wall.

- Skod, on 10/10/2007, -5/+9Dugg for not being *****.
- ahawks, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5Well it's unlikely they are on digg, and i promise not to tell them if you won't
- aaarrrgh, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4hands up, who thought the other type of apples?
- jenel, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Yeah, capitalization is everything.
- FreakyD, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4That should be awesome to be around when it starts to rot!!
- meggibrit, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4HOLY COW! This takes "there are starving kids in Africa" to a whole new level! I will no longer feel remorse for those few peas I left on my plate as a child.
- CraigJ, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4do we care? no.
- michaelnew20, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4The one with that depicts a man's face is by far my favorite. How cool!
- CraigJ, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4They should make some from oranges so we can compare them.
- edwartica, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Art in its very nature requires a response. Sometimes that response is a criticism. If you haven't already, you should read up artistic interpretations. Its absolutely fascinating.
- edwartica, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Seriously, would you like to eat an apple that was once adhered to a wall?
- evilevil, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2that will smell really bad in a week or so, and what the mess!
- Audacitor, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2No you don't. I should know; I'm a fanboy.
All it takes is 'Apple'. - tripz216, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2First off thanks for acknowledging me as a genius. Where are the pictures of the apples not rotting on a wall? I stick to my point those apples should have been used to feed poor and starving people.
- Aeric, on 10/10/2007, -3/+5I only wish I could bury more than once and smack those people.
***** YOU for wasting food like that. ***** YOU!! - plizard, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3and with all the starving kids in africa that angelina jolie hasn't adopted .... yet
- edwartica, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Can't stand neocons.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3Agreed. But it's okay for the hippy faction to be wasteful in the name of art.
- herbiehotwater, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3this one hits close to home since I am currently eating an apple.
- joltguy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Roger that.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2I see it the other way (as I stated above). Most artists are hippies (and most hippies have convinced themselves that they are artists - even though they aren't). It seems they can berate all of us for being "wasteful" and not caring about others yet it's perfectly fine for them to waste a perfectly good food source when it's in the name of their art.
Hypocritical Hippies. - crapple, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1granny smith's and johnny mac's FTW...mmmm....
I miss living in Michigan and getting fresh apples this time of year. - etx313, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I'd look better... In my stomach!!
- timusca, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I got "due to the rating of its content (adult,hobbies/interest)"
- edwartica, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2I agree.
