  • Wakkyweed, on 07/15/2009, -0/+1As kids in the late 70's we would build "stilt bikes" by removing everything from a bike, flipping the frame upside down, installing extended handlebars upside down, and welding on an extended seat. In the end you'd get a crazy-ass bike that lifted you about 6 feet in the air when you rode it.

    Man, we were such little pimps riding those around the neighborhood.

  • emmet, on 07/15/2009, -0/+0after pimp my ride became puzzlingly successful, MTV actually had a show called "pimp my fahrrad" here in germany for a while which, you guessed it, translates to 'pimp my bicycle'. it was kinda funny, but the joke got old real fast. and then it got cancelled.
