- Gibletoid, on 07/04/2009, -0/+6Not a single person so far even knows what recycling is, including the author.
What are the "Three R's"?
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
Now I am going to give you all a chance to guess which one these images contain.
Looks like Reuse to me. Recyling is an activity done in a recycling plant, often washing the bottles to be resused, or breaking and melting them down into new glass. - CB810, on 07/03/2009, -0/+5I wish I knew about this before I recycled my beer bottle collection
- socialpyramid, on 07/03/2009, -0/+5Cool to see all those detailed images of the beer bottle temple, I hadn't seen those shots before.
- inactive, on 07/03/2009, -0/+5Wow, I need that first chandelier!
- absolutelytrue, on 07/03/2009, -0/+3Gorgeous light fixtures.. how unique.
- lovemorgul, on 07/03/2009, -0/+3I love it. I can see smaller versions of the designs fitting well in domestic homes.
- DirtPile, on 07/04/2009, -0/+2What do recycling and "error establishing database connection" have in common?
- dinuguan, on 07/03/2009, -0/+2I'm sure a lot of creative whoopin's are given out every christmas around that tree.
- patho, on 07/04/2009, -0/+2Sadly in america recycling is the only R we pay attention to, even if we say all three.
- backwardscompat, on 07/26/2009, -0/+2Agreed! That thing is awesome.
- spriggig, on 07/04/2009, -0/+2Since virtually all of the cost of making glass is in generating the heat while the raw materials are practically free, actually melting down old glass to recycle it provides no cost advantage. Fortunately, glass is completely inert and harmless to the environment. Banana.
- Hellahulla, on 07/04/2009, -0/+2I always thought the best use of old glass bottles was to put them in the machine, press the button and get a receipt for some shop credit/cash. Maybe that's just me.
Nice art though. - Rikkochet, on 07/04/2009, -0/+2Yeah. It really ties the room together..
*cough* - charlie55, on 07/04/2009, -0/+2that is true, frankenstein. recycling good save earth.
- linagee, on 07/04/2009, -0/+2Error establishing a database connection
- spriggig, on 07/04/2009, -0/+2I dugg you up because you're right, and in spite of the dickish attitude.
- Gibletoid, on 07/04/2009, -0/+1The moment you get off of Digg and lead us.
How do you feel about Candelabras?
The space age was in the 60's btw. That's when space travel was new and a big deal.
We've had a computer age since then to. - sendfunnystuff, on 07/03/2009, -0/+1This looks really cool. Especially from a distance where you can’t really see what it’s made of and how it’s formed.
- aaidjs, on 07/03/2009, -1/+2Chandeliers are dumb. When are people going to put aside this childish non-functional obsolete ***** and start to create an efficient, low maintenance space age society?
- dleesgeetar, on 07/03/2009, -0/+1i would not put that in my living room.
- lepetitmousse, on 07/03/2009, -0/+1I went to this restaurant in toronto that i have long forgotten the name of, but it had what was probably a 100 foot long chandelier made out of jose cuervo bottles that snaked around the dining room and ended in the bar. I got some pretty sweet pictures of it somewhere.
- sykins, on 07/04/2009, -0/+1Its a joke bud. If they are by themselves they'll do it but if another mormon is watching they are on their best behavior.
- mightyslick, on 07/05/2009, -0/+1reuse
- charlie55, on 07/04/2009, -0/+1well it doesnt really count as recycling if you just make garbage and call it art.
- Elusis1, on 07/04/2009, -0/+1That solar water heater is such a great idea!
- zagatbuzz, on 07/05/2009, -0/+1What wonderful ways to recycle!
- sykins, on 07/04/2009, -0/+1Believe it or not that beer bottle house is in Utah of all places. Mormons back in the day were partiers.
Q: Why do you always invite at least 2 Mormons to your party?
A: Because 1 will drink all your beer. - inactive, on 07/04/2009, -0/+1Most of these weren't "Art"
- Gibletoid, on 07/04/2009, -0/+1I just dugg you up, to spite my damn dickish attitude.
I hate when people call me out, and they are right :) - ultimusgt, on 07/04/2009, -0/+1i just came back from hunington im drunk lol :D
:/ lol - Gibletoid, on 07/04/2009, -0/+1This is technically true but making new glass when glass already exists is a waste of other non glass resources. And it is not harmless to the environment of the bottoms of my feet. :)
The places that need to use heat anyways to create their product, like fibre glass, might as well use existing glass, instead of shipping in sand from somewhere else.
Banana. - awicks89, on 07/04/2009, -0/+1just wait till they all fall
- sykins, on 07/04/2009, -0/+1Never mind, that one is in Vancouver, but we have one here in Utah too.
- Darksyndacite, on 07/04/2009, -0/+1Last i checked mormons are commanded by their religious books to not drink alcohol but then again if i am wrong some one correct me.
- howmike79, on 07/03/2009, -1/+1Recycling of plastic good to save our earth
- Hymnosi, on 07/04/2009, -0/+0Damn Chinese peasants always have the good ideas.
- chrisnyce2002, on 07/06/2009, -0/+0awesome!
- LuckieGWFresh, on 07/04/2009, -0/+0I'm glad they didnt list the house of bottles tourist trap. its like $10/person to go into a house made of bottles. epic fail.
Dugg for the awesome christmas tree. - puckmanparty, on 07/03/2009, -1/+0dude, pretty creative. bottles are such a big problem, and plastic bags too
- Btcc222, on 07/04/2009, -1/+0That's a nice beer bottle chair you've got there, but I think I'd rather stand. Thanks for asking though.
- inactive, on 07/04/2009, -2/+0Memo to Generation DOH: Garbage, in any shape, is not "art"....it's still just garbage.

What is Digg?
