- combatchuck, on 11/04/2009, -4/+102The ***** looked back TWICE. No way is somebody that stupid.
- slpdprvdtchy06, on 11/04/2009, -0/+76How did he not notice the car moving as he was getting out!
- citizensARREST, on 11/04/2009, -1/+60haha awesome.
I got confused though 'cause it looked like he turned enough to see it moving in his periphs just before going through the door... guess not - RobMackenzie, on 11/04/2009, -0/+48I love the "angry drive" at the end.
I think that's coolant. He probably broke the radiator. I wonder if he heard it crash, and came a running. - ToddSchishler, on 11/04/2009, -1/+29The car is already starting to roll away before the driver walks into the frame.
This is insurance fraud. - leprix, on 11/04/2009, -0/+27From the looks of it he's losing some headlight fluid.
- tonks01, on 11/04/2009, -0/+25Yeah, That'll buff right out.
- n064, on 11/04/2009, -4/+26Im thinking he was TRYING to commit insurance fraud, because he obviously saw that damn car rolling. I don't think he knows that he will get any money out of this, besides the car repair....if the insurance actually decides to cover something like this with the evidence provided. This video is one of the few where I think its appropriate to say...fail.
- Atario, on 11/04/2009, -2/+18But first, put it in Park (or 1st gear (or reverse as applicable) for you stick-handlers).
- michrech, on 11/04/2009, -7/+23What do us homosexuals have to do with this?!
- bitmanx, on 11/04/2009, -0/+12I've left a car in neutral for some unknown reason, went into the house and the car was gone.. It rolled down the driveway into the street, bounced off the curb and rolled down the street about a 100 yards. It jumped the curb in between a fence and parked car into this guys yard knocking over a tree. Trashed the bumper and hood bad. Best part was when the insurance company asked who was driving, the response was "nobody"..
- StigNordas, on 11/04/2009, -1/+12He still came back to park? Maybe he thought nobody would notice.
- Raz0rEdge, on 11/04/2009, -1/+12..and yet apparently he is..:)
- frontaxle, on 11/04/2009, -1/+12I love the peaceful downhill acceleration. BE FREEE!!!!!!!
- Bamboolemur, on 11/04/2009, -0/+9Ya...it seemed like he was staring directly at it. But I guess he didn't notice. Maybe his car felt ignored and was out for revenge.
- spworm, on 11/04/2009, -2/+10I've never driven an automatic that even allows you to take out the key without the hand-break being on / it being in park.
Is this common?
(for the record, i prefer stick but some cars only come in automatic) - duewydo, on 11/04/2009, -2/+10Really, I mean it was a nice looking truck. I own a ***** car and truck and yet I always look back and do a mental check. lights off, check, doors locked check, all valuables out of sight, check. got my lunch check. Then I do a look back further and think, "it's an old car, but I love that little Toyota."
- Apokalyps2547, on 11/04/2009, -3/+11On behalf of men everywhere, his man license is revoked. Now he's a Richard Simmons.
- joe361, on 11/04/2009, -2/+10You are one stupid *****.
- snagglefoof, on 11/04/2009, -3/+10hahaha (don't feed the troll...)
- MasterPain, on 11/04/2009, -1/+8I know this is digg and all but they have this thing called a woman. these women can handle male genitals and not be considered homosexual.
- zhiryst, on 11/04/2009, -1/+8you are a perfect metaphor for what's wrong with our nation's republicans. republican president in power, you blindly accept everything that's going on around you (like the guy walking away from the truck). democrat president in power, you blame everything that goes wrong in your life on the president. Like with you, that guy forgot to put the parking brake on, blame obama. GDIAF.
- acidtonic, on 11/04/2009, -0/+6Probably felt it. Those buildings are pretty solid and I can imagine that knocked some dust from the ceiling of the stairwell and shook the railings.
- PowderedToasty, on 11/04/2009, -1/+7No camera from the angle where the car hit?
- Artic89, on 11/04/2009, -0/+6And still, I got friends who don't even put it in gear.
- Raz0rEdge, on 11/04/2009, -0/+5Yeah there is a ignition lock on new cars/trucks and until you move the shifter into park that lock stays in place. This truck looks new enough to have that mechanism..very confusing indeed..
- Markpdotcom, on 11/04/2009, -2/+6Nope. If it is in gear, it is not going anywhere. It would need to be one hell of an incline to move the car in gear, in which case you should have your parking brake on.
- Idiggapony, on 11/04/2009, -0/+4When the guy drives back up the ramp with his damaged truck, he drives right by the old parking space, to go and park somewhere else. I guess he figured there was something wrong with the first parking place. Obviously -- it broke his truck.
- Krezer, on 11/03/2009, -3/+6He did a good one on that front end. Hopefully he's just leaking some washer fluid and nothing too serious.
- piieerrrree, on 11/04/2009, -1/+3Man, you really are a douchebag. I'm glad they buried your comment.
- guestaccount, on 11/04/2009, -0/+2Just had to slip that in eh?
*****. - ToddSchishler, on 11/05/2009, -0/+1Insurance only covers fortuitous losses.
Based on the video evidence, I'd say the insurance company has a pretty good argument that this loss was intentional.
Maybe he's hoping to total the car and get out of a lease/finance? - gl77, on 11/04/2009, -3/+4hey guys look!!! it's not a woman driver! IT'S A MAN!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA
- ToddSchishler, on 11/05/2009, -0/+1Maybe he was hoping to total it, so he could get out of his lease or finance?
- ivosilva, on 11/05/2009, -0/+1It could be in neutral, or he didn't left it in reverse. It's a heavy car.
- captainchris, on 11/04/2009, -1/+2this fits the format of a comic strip so appropriately.
- damnshoes, on 11/04/2009, -0/+1let me add some more !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- slpdprvdtchy06, on 11/04/2009, -1/+2I know right!! I freak out a little inside whenever the car naturally rolls forward in a slightly pitched parking space!
- beakerbite, on 11/05/2009, -0/+1Maybe he was trying to cash in on insurance? More likely just in too much of a hurry to think though.
- idiotonuni, on 11/06/2009, -0/+1this was actually a deleted scene from ferris bueler's day off
- ligaguine, on 11/05/2009, -0/+1Let us know when you come up with one.
- lunatix, on 11/04/2009, -0/+1maybe he was blind out of his right eye
- DrummerAndrew, on 11/05/2009, -0/+1Go die in a fire? Nice.
- antoniuk, on 11/04/2009, -0/+1You mean Vagina Smalls
- heresy_fnord, on 11/04/2009, -1/+2That vehicle rolled too quickly to be in gear. It's like he just got out of it and left it on or left it in neutral. Most people I know don't use their parking break. I always engage mine, even on flat grade roads / driveways. Just better to be in the habit of it.
- TreatsTheBear, on 11/04/2009, -0/+1Yeah, it definitely looks intentional, but how do you come out ahead busting up a perfectly good truck? And why would he move it after the crash?
Something weird is going on, but I'm not sure it's insurance fraud. - ayeroxor, on 11/05/2009, -1/+1Aww, well I'm glad that you're glad, snookums :'(
- Markpdotcom, on 11/04/2009, -1/+1Its the front of the car, so its probably coolant from the radiator. I'd say that's kind of serious if he is planning to drive more than a couple of miles :)
