A cut above - the story of an 80 year-old barber in a bad part of Detroit

detroitblog.org — It would be difficult to find a more unfortunate spot for an elderly man’s small business than a storefront in a crackwhore motel. But that’s where 80-year-old Joe Castiglione and his barber shop have persevered for 51 years, in a little storefront facing Eight Mile Road, connected to a motel catering to the lowlifes of the area.
