- MaxIsBored, on 06/29/2009, -4/+34If the cats see her as a motherly figure (ie: she got them when they were kittens), there won't be any struggle for dominance, she'll be a member of the family.
If she got them while they were growing up, or as an adult - I could see where you're coming from..
I'm sure she'll be just fine. - kcmedic, on 06/27/2009, -4/+34Oh My!
- ThsGuyRightHere, on 06/28/2009, -4/+29What, no ligers?
- MaxMWood, on 06/29/2009, -2/+23You could say she has 11 pussies.
- drivingalone, on 06/29/2009, -1/+20This isn't live at all! I thought you were sending me to a reporter on location.
- supermajic, on 06/29/2009, -7/+25She's going to get mauled sooner or later.
- brucealmighty, on 06/28/2009, -7/+23Yeah...that's real cute...and guaranteed she's gonna end up as dinner for her pets any day now. Wild animals can seem tame so long as you keep them well fed but they are still not domesticated and just step on one's tail or something like that which triggers a feral response and a wild animal will do what wild animals do........
- inactive, on 06/29/2009, -1/+16MaxisBored is correct. See Chritian the Lion reunion on youtube.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HjWtRYaxmWM - Twenty5, on 06/29/2009, -1/+11So much pussy.
- LucidHawk, on 06/29/2009, -0/+9Living with Lions and Tigers is asking for trouble but Cheetahs are generally pretty harmless to an adult human.
They are pretty tame and their claws can't do much damage because they are more like a dog's than cats.
If they bite you it will be fleeting and they will give up quickly. This is assuming your dealing with one raised from birth and not a wild Cheetah protecting it's cubs. - TrevorBelmont, on 06/29/2009, -2/+11Clearly, she is unfamiliar with Travis the chimp.
- Frostek, on 06/29/2009, -0/+8Let me just write that down...
Smack it... on... the nose...
I wonder if it works with tigers too?
brb. - jftitan, on 06/29/2009, -3/+10I wanted to finish the title with a "Oh My"... but since there aren't any bears, whats the point.
- Goombellaofgoom, on 06/29/2009, -0/+711 cats + 4 cheetahs + 5 lions + 2 tigers = 22 animals. Punctuation errors, FTW!
- TaMaDe, on 06/29/2009, -0/+7Cheetahs are timid and finicky eaters. Unlike other wild cats, they will not eat a caracas. They prey on only a few species and in the wild they won't eat food they don't kill. If a Cheetah gets out of line, then a smack on the nose should be sufficient to get it to back down.
- christoast, on 06/29/2009, -2/+9Jesus Christ, its a lion. GET IN THE CAR.
- thesaba, on 06/29/2009, -1/+7And my mom wouldn't even let me have a goldfish.
- Pseudorious, on 06/29/2009, -0/+6By reading the title of the actual article, I ascertained that she lives with 4 cheetahs, 5 lions and 2 tigers. 4+5+2=11. There are no house cats. The OP has reading issues.
She also keeps two dogs (though I suspect not for long). - Kvasaari, on 06/29/2009, -0/+6Well, the emergency telephone number in South Africa is not 911. And even if it was, she's used to dealing with big cats.
- KneeCapTea, on 06/29/2009, -0/+6WOW! NOT ONLY WILL I GET 4 CHEETAHS, 5 LIONS, 2 TIGERS BUT ALSO 2 LEOPARDS AND A JAGUAR? WHAT A BARGAIN! NEVER BEFORE HAVE I SEEN SO MANY LARGE CATS IN THE SAME OFFER, THIS IS NOT TO BE MISSED AND WILL SURELY NEVER BE REPEATED. THAT'S RIGHT, IT WILL NEVER BE REPEATED!
- JT114881, on 06/29/2009, -1/+6OM NOM NOM
- captainDyl, on 06/29/2009, -0/+5A JAGUAR?? ITS AFRICA, NOT THE AZTEC EMPIRE! ! !
- Fabbyfubz, on 06/29/2009, -0/+5YOU SHUT YOUR WHORE MOUTH WHEN BILLY MAYS IS TALKING
- matthewf01, on 06/29/2009, -0/+5Now THAT is a crazy cat lady
- dizmoz, on 06/29/2009, -0/+5^ opps drunk post...
- herbiehancock00, on 06/29/2009, -0/+5If you ask her, I'm sure she'll be completely fine with being killed by one of her cats. She already gave her life away to the cats.
- zip000, on 06/29/2009, -1/+6I've got two cats which I've had since they were 6 and 12 weeks old. Mine have never hissed at me, maybe you - or someone in your family - has mistreated your cat. Sometimes the playing gets out of hand and you get scratched sure - and that's what I would worry about in having a big cat as well - but if a cat sees you as part of their family, there shouldn't be any real hostility.
I can't say anything about big cats really since I've never spent any time with one, but I suspect that if you care for one from a young age, then it will probably treat as family. I could envision the playing getting easily out of hand though. - Fleagleman, on 06/29/2009, -0/+4As did I. And only the second comment.
- IamNomad, on 06/29/2009, -1/+5a new meaning to the phrase "crazy cat lady"
- bysin, on 06/29/2009, -1/+5Just a matter of time before shes on the face transplant list.
- inactive, on 06/29/2009, -0/+4those cubs are sooo cute
- treedude, on 06/29/2009, -1/+5Ever have a cat before? My childhood cat we had since he was able to fit in the palm of your hand on all fours. I can tell you that everyone in our household has gotten scratched and hissed at at some point by him even though he was fairly calm most of the time. The difference is he was a cat and could be easily fended off. A ***** Cheetah decides to get pissed at you and your going down.
- Sikarian, on 06/29/2009, -0/+4I came for this, I left satisfied.
- thesonofdarwin, on 06/29/2009, -0/+3I'm guessing you read the article then?

- gugufrommdy, on 06/29/2009, -2/+5Nice!!
But I wish I don't see: "Woman mauled by 11 cats, 4 cheetahs, 5 lions and 2 tigers!". - MaxMWood, on 06/29/2009, -0/+3Dayum. Good point, she actually has 12 pussies.
- Pseudorious, on 06/29/2009, -0/+2Reading comprehension fail.
- Colecoman1982, on 06/29/2009, -0/+2I think there are plenty of examples of exotic pets going out of control and hurting people. Two examples that spring to mind immediately are the chimp that chewed that woman's face off recently and Sigfried and Roy's famous mauling incident. Of course, there's reason to believe that the chimp was drugged up at the time, but it's still an issue. You only need one incident where one of them gets sick, old, etc. and loses control to kill someone. Heck, there's reason to believe that the tiger that went crazy during the Sigfried and Roy performance might have even been spooked and was acting to protect the performer. The premise is that the tiger grab by the neck to carry him to safety without realizing how much damage would be done. The only saving grace this woman has is that the housfull of other animals might step in and protect her if one goes nuts. Even if that did happen, she'd probably be severely injured/killed before they could respond.
- willterminus, on 06/29/2009, -0/+1Thats one crazy cat
- zigardne, on 06/29/2009, -1/+2You know how I know I'm gay? That clip always makes me cry!
- Quaterni0n, on 06/29/2009, -0/+1She'll give us timans or limans soon enough.
- KJSatz, on 06/29/2009, -0/+1My parents just got a second dog. I have been replaced!
Also: Obligatory "Oh My!" - sndream, on 06/29/2009, -0/+1She also have 2 dogs......... I wonder which animal does she relay on to watch the house.
- MrTea, on 06/29/2009, -0/+1"And I'm confident that she's got some issues. I wonder if that husband is still around."
none of our business - thesonofdarwin, on 06/29/2009, -0/+1I would wager you are right. I've not met a serious animal person, and I work around and with animals 24/7, that isn't the same way. I would much rather die to a wild animal (or my own 7 cats, 2 dogs, and ferrets) than heart disease, old age, a car crash, etc. That's not to say I'd go out of my way to die in such a manner, but in a similar situation if one of the risks was being killed by one of the wild cats I'd probably put that concern considerably lower than, for example, a concern over how to properly take care of them all and afford it or make sure they were safe.
- Quaterni0n, on 06/29/2009, -1/+2After a certain age, the tigers' and lions' hunter instincts will kick in and they will see her as food.
