- RichGC, on 10/31/2007, -1/+26Really needs a sculpture of a chicken...
- AndrewDB, on 01/10/2008, -5/+15Okay, a show of hands (or thumbs up as the case may be), who else when they were viewing this thought Jean-Michel Basquiat was actually Snoop Dogg in 1995?
- LoudMusic, on 10/30/2007, -0/+9I was at SOFA ( http://www.sofaexpo.com/ ) several years ago and a man had several amazing pieces on display, each made from a different common metal object. One was a female torso made from roofing nails (short with a broad head) and painted super glossy red - it was gorgeous. Unfortunately when I brought out my camera to snap a quick shot he went ballistic and berated me about how I wouldn't appreciate someone taking pictures of me and his art was a part of him ... So I guess I won't be able to give him free publicity on the world's largest and totally free marketing tool.
- gibsonic, on 10/31/2007, -0/+8because doing them out of hot burning lava was a somewhat more difficult proposition. I call shenanigans on the artist for being a spineless whimp for not using molten lava and settling for measly chicken wire.
- flangle, on 10/31/2007, -3/+11I wonder how many times he pricked his fingers.
- VanD, on 10/31/2007, -0/+7Why choose to do chicken wire sculptures of those people?
- mythicalbyrd, on 11/05/2007, -1/+8Does anyone know what kind of scale these are? Are they life sized or gigantic?
- irgeorge, on 10/31/2007, -0/+7If the artist reads that, he'll probably kick himself.
- jrchin, on 10/31/2007, -0/+6They look life size, judging by the grain of the wood they're sitting on.
- ryan850, on 10/30/2007, -0/+4I assume you do not mean Grace Jones... just imagine the joy of spending hours looking at her photo to recreate that masterpiece!
- jmchez, on 10/30/2007, -0/+4Darn! You beat me to it.
- thinkart, on 10/30/2007, -0/+3Or anyone think he created jean-michel, took a photo, then changed the hair...and tada Grace Jones?
- theexitwound, on 10/30/2007, -0/+3I was just noticing how much the scuptures of Mick Jagger and Grace Jones look alike. Weird isn't it?
- Insomnya3AM, on 10/30/2007, -0/+2I thought the third one was Michael Richards.
- mablung, on 10/31/2007, -0/+2I bet the skin on his hands is like rawhide.
- 4rch, on 10/30/2007, -1/+3What the hell is the matter with you?
- Lanefair, on 10/30/2007, -0/+1Wow. He should have planted seeds for the hair.
- fribhey, on 10/30/2007, -0/+1you can't be that dumb.
Einstein (no explanation needed)
Basquiat (famous artist)
Mick Jagger (singer of the rolling stones)
Grace Jones (freaky model/actress from the 80s)
Dame Edna (freaky british transvestite actor/actress) - thelab101, on 10/30/2007, -0/+1This will be a PETA ad in about a week
- NStuart88, on 10/30/2007, -0/+1They all look scary to me :(
- tamareesoeres, on 10/30/2007, -0/+1I think a tree would have looked cool in this art fashion. Or an animal perhaps?
- ktorbeck, on 10/30/2007, -0/+1Looking at the sculptures you get the idea they were done some time ago. For example "Grace Jones", I did not even know she was still alive.
- cgruber, on 10/30/2007, -0/+1..things you don't want to admit you know.
- SaraSu, on 10/30/2007, -0/+1pretty sweet...
- Burninsensation, on 10/30/2007, -0/+1some people are so uptight...I wonder what he'd say to street photographers about taking pictures of other people...
- bizsumpark182, on 10/30/2007, -0/+1Wow! That is just awesome!
- tinkafoo, on 10/30/2007, -0/+1Reminds me of a Blues Brothers quote:
"chicken wire??" - jmkiii, on 10/30/2007, -1/+1Are you talking about boobies or a kick in the nuts, because I like boobies!
- CMuffa, on 10/30/2007, -1/+1Talk about having time to waste. As the old saying goes, just because something can be done, doesn't mean you should do it. What's next? Sculptures made out of kevlar, or did someone already waste time doing that as well?
- jaysonemery, on 10/30/2007, -0/+0actually Dame Edna (Barry Humphries) is Australian.
- CailaCrayola, on 10/31/2007, -0/+0Artist on the farm?
Still cool. - Torsion, on 10/30/2007, -1/+1yet his lack of motivation racks in the dough?
- HollowMarkeD, on 10/30/2007, -1/+1Go earn your money somewhere else, Ron Paul loser. So many Diggers on various payrolls these days.
- gibsonic, on 10/30/2007, -3/+3hrm...no naked, pregnant, doggy-sylin, anatomically correct, life-sized statue of britney spears....no cookie from me.

- brandonace, on 10/30/2007, -1/+1Interesting that is 4 show
- bogatash, on 10/30/2007, -2/+2WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE
- exomni, on 10/30/2007, -1/+0Maybe he meant the people who do these sculptures with odd materials? (wire hangers, chicken wire, cardboard, etc)
Either that or, yeah, he's just a complete idiot. - martian, on 10/30/2007, -2/+1AWESOME!?????!11111111
- fribhey, on 10/30/2007, -3/+1i guess you don't know who Basquiat is.....
