- meshman, on 10/11/2007, -4/+16Meh, too much work.
(Like, 'having to log into Digg every 5 FREAKING minutes' too much work. This is seriously pissing me off) - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -6/+14How about this as a summary of the article. 1) use common sense 2) be disciplined
The rest comes easy. I can't believe people actually need this list - carguy84, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6I hear ya. I contacted Digg support about it, they're working on it. I contacted them in December... I told them what the issue was and how to reproduce it, but apparently ***** up the comment system was a higher priority.
- TimToTango, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6You can say what you want, but this article seems to become reall popular in a very short time.
Diggers like numbered lists, that's for sure. - yetimonster, on 10/11/2007, -0/+48. Adderall
- nikkilai, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Tell me about it. Unfortunately, many people do need this list. Every day, my roommate struggles for 5-10 minutes trying to find her keys. And I tell her each time, "Just designate one single place to put them." And she never does it. Go figure.

7) Make a note to never submit a top # list to digg - mithrasinvictus, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4I think Digg is ready for a "Top 100 most useless lists posted on Digg"
- Markpdotcom, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Hahahaha... sorry, I wouldn't normally waste a comment like this, but come on Digg, every other comment is about how crap the new comments system is. Go back to the old system till you fix the mess you've created.
- crazybugger, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5This submission is for non-diggers.
Diggers do not require such menial solution for a complex life. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3//criticizes Carsonauto for thinking he's so clever
- MikeonTV, on 10/11/2007, -5/+7I wish there was a way to organize ***** Digg submission.. oh wait there is - Buried

1. Reduce before organizing.
2. Write it down now, always.
3. Have one inbox & process.
4. A place for everything.
5. Put it away now.
6. Clean as you go.
7. Develop routines & systems. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Tip #8
Always have cyanide capsules handy just in case you lose your organizer or oversleep. - Hipple, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Article about organization in the NYT today:

- mjoc, on 01/08/2009, -0/+0If you want to be productive, I would recommend the following:
1. Every morning make a list of tasks you want to achieve. It is very important to write them down on a paper or using work management tool (like Gainlog.com)
2. Take a nap for 15 min if you feel tired.
3. Do not work more than 40 hours per week, and if you have to, do not overload for more than 2 weeks. - tylermcgill, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1aka GTD
- Scarblah, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0The organization of my life took a turn for the better when I found www.smartfurniture.com . Cube organization = wondermous.
- tanto, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1Tips:Taking ten minutes every morning to plan your day. Make a list of priorities and do the most demanding things when you’re at your best.
People are inclined to dash at everything at 100 kilometres an hour and not take account of the times when they think more creatively.
People should be doing a lot more thinking and a lot less doing.

http://orangtuamurid.info/blog/?p=174 - whitenigger, on 10/11/2007, -2/+0Here's my problem:
I am one of those organize guys. I just can't relax with a bunch of ***** around me. It drives me ***** crazy. While I naturally organize things (and hate useless clutter that no one uses) and therefore do not need this article, my lovely girlfriend is one of those people that can function normally in a ***** chaotic clutter heap of a home without batting an eye.
I can either speak up and seem like a organazi, or tidy up myself and feel like I have 3 little tadpoles running around as I constantly clean up after them.
I suppose I could neatly cut my GF up into little pieces and dispose in an organized manner, but she really is a keeper, i only want to kill her when she does this. Oh well, that's my pointless $0.02. - betobeto, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1More like Top 10.000 if you ask me.

rinse and repeat - toddwalden, on 01/14/2009, -3/+0yup, just use common sense.. it's not that difficult to stay "super" organized.
