- lexf, on 03/05/2008, -33/+1090I heard there was a conspiracy to digg this comment up for no reason.
- bromac, on 03/05/2008, -11/+297I cannot confirm this, but I dugg you up. For no reason.
- bromac, on 03/05/2008, -9/+238Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.
Hi, NSA. How's the internet datamining going today? Give me a call, I'm sure you know my number. - S4MF1SHER, on 03/05/2008, -19/+163Damn Scientologists!
- KingGorilla, on 03/05/2008, -1/+120Excellent. Proceed with Phase 2
- catsaregrey, on 03/05/2008, -5/+121That's not Prescott Bush, that's Peter Sellers as Dr. Strangelove.
- pimpofpixels, on 03/05/2008, -13/+114Dugg for illuminating Bush's Nazi heritage.
- inactive, on 03/05/2008, -8/+102Why wasn't Gulf of Tonkin on the list?
- meruru, on 03/05/2008, -1/+86Sarcasm Knucklecallus, Knucklecallus sarcasm. Glad you two finally met.
- inactive, on 03/05/2008, -35/+115Prescott Bush just looks like a ***** jackass
- bromac, on 03/05/2008, -2/+81Quiet, fool! There is no Phase 2.
- logego, on 03/05/2008, -3/+75While reading the article, I couldn't help but think about the two radiation experiments, below...

Did a little googling and turned up an interesting thread here on 'Google Answers' regarding other conspiracy theories that turned out to be true, including Project Echelon:

Truth is stranger than fiction... - CaptHuggyFace, on 03/05/2008, -8/+77Nicely done, sir.
- exomni, on 03/05/2008, -2/+70I've told various people about 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7, and they all laughed and told me I was a tin-foil hat wearing nut.
- digggggggggg, on 03/05/2008, -2/+65"Tea was spilled, crumpets were dropped and monocles everywhere popped out in shock"
You just can't make this stuff up. - CedEx, on 03/05/2008, -1/+61It's ok. Phase 2 is done. We did it, and we're not happy about it.
- CaptHuggyFace, on 03/05/2008, -2/+59You forgot to type "bomb" in your post. You're welcome.
- kingmanic, on 03/05/2008, -9/+64Kinda makes Both Bushes presidencies seem very consistent with the family ideology. The US has rarely been more fascist as now.
- Jade10145, on 03/05/2008, -7/+62Where's the "Digg is actually contorlled by a minority of users, thats why you can never get the story you submitted popular" conspiracy.
Or the "How the ***** has some else ALWAYS submitted a story before me" conspiracy?
With my time with digg, day to day I believe more and more that these two are real. - Railz, on 03/05/2008, -5/+57"Actually happened"
- Knucklecallus, on 03/05/2008, -5/+56And "George Bush will be slaughtered with a thousand knives by islamic arab terrorists who hate the western world at 2 tomorrow morning while he is sleeping in his bed in the white house." They would beat you and throw you into a cell that smells like pig intestine if you put that in your post. But it is ok for me to say that, because I am saying what you are not allowed to say. See, its like a public service.
- inactive, on 03/05/2008, -3/+54Smedley Butler is quite possibly the greatest man to have ever lived! And his name was SMEDLEY!
- sharkd, on 03/05/2008, -0/+48von Stauffenberg would have killed Hitler, had the briefcase been placed on the other side of the conference table's leg. Instead, it burst Hitler's ear drum and explosively de-pantsed him.
- SOS84, on 03/05/2008, -17/+64From the article
In 1933, group of wealthy businessmen that allegedly included the heads of Chase Bank, GM, Goodyear, Standard Oil, the DuPont family and Senator Prescott Bush tried to recruit Marine Corps Major General Smedley Butler to lead a military coup against President FDR and install a fascist dictatorship in the United States. And yes, we're talking about the same Prescott Bush who fathered one US President and grandfathered another one.
Prescott Bush may have failed in creating a fascist dictatorship but his grandson succeeded quite well. - Ramble, on 03/05/2008, -4/+47My God you idiot have you never seen Dr. Strangelove?
- TheLastProphet, on 03/05/2008, -4/+45Maybe it should be called: 7 Conspiracies that can be proven... or which the evidence has made it to the light of day.
or 7 Conspiracy Facts.
I think Sibel Edmonds is sitting on more than 7 right now. - inactive, on 03/05/2008, -1/+42You obviously never met my ex-wife.
- batshitcrazy, on 03/05/2008, -35/+75#8: 9/11. Being dugg down doesn't make it untrue
- meruru, on 03/05/2008, -3/+43because this is a list of conspiracies that actually happened
- kotrin, on 03/05/2008, -2/+41or who shot first, Han or Greedo?
- SuperCow1127, on 03/05/2008, -4/+42I don't see how anybody can say 9/11 wasn't a conspiracy. A group of Saudi Muslim fundamentalists, with funding from Saudi royalty, and after years of careful preparation and planning, flew three hijacked commercial jets into major American landmarks. Sounds like a conspiracy to me.
- CrazedLeper, on 03/05/2008, -15/+50#7: "medley spilled the beans to a congressional committee in 1934. Everyone he accused of being a conspirator vehemently denied it, and none of them were brought up on criminal charges. Still, the House McCormack-Dickstein Committee did at least acknowledge the existence of the conspiracy, which ended up never getting past the initial planning stages."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
So did they stop wanting it? No, they regrouped, reorganized and took over in a silent coup in 2000. Nobody noticed--except for conspiracy nuts.
"Though many of the people who had allegedly backed the Business Plot also maintained financial ties with Nazi Germany up through America's entry into World War II. But at least the United States never ended up becoming a fascist dictatorship "
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
It is no coincidence that the son of Prescott Bush went live with "new world order" near the end of his 1st term as president (he had 2 more, vicariously, through the dope currently in the chair) and his son presided over 9/11. All the maneuvers since then have purposely placed the US teetering on the edge of fascism. One more false-flag event and it's all over. Planning for 10/12 is underway. - drlha, on 03/05/2008, -1/+36It might be worth mentioning that yes, the British do celebrate "Guy Fawkes" night every year, but that it isn't a celebration of Guy Fawkes at all, but rather a celebration that The Gunpowder Plot was averted. In fact part of the celebration involves throwing effigies of Guy Fawkes on a bonfire, not something that is usually done for a hero.
- dezmo, on 03/05/2008, -2/+35nah, they don't pay attention to stuff like that, but say something like, "Does anyone have a Cloverfield bootleg?" and they'll, hold up, someones at the doo
- ronaldinho, on 03/05/2008, -0/+32Dugg for the Tuskegee experiment and Operation Snow White, those are pretty *****-up
While I'm at it, it sure seems Scientology will be a mainstay on Digg for months to come...... - paperclipsNsoup, on 03/05/2008, -3/+34Conspiracy #8
President George Bush is actually a reptilian alien that feeds on low approval ratings - erkokite, on 03/05/2008, -1/+31"Paranoid schizophrenics from coast to coast like to call in to recount their harrowing tales of psychic violation at the hands of the CIA."
Hehehe. I like the not so subtle knock on the C2C radio talk show. For the record though, MKULTRA was very much real. - BohicaTwentyTwo, on 03/05/2008, -0/+29Blasted Sturdy German Furniture.
- blazes816, on 03/05/2008, -2/+29Dugg from the grassy knoll.
- oo00mige00oo, on 03/05/2008, -4/+31stupid websense Enterprise wont let me see the article =(
- inactive, on 03/05/2008, -7/+33I see Prescott Bush's grandson is carrying on with the plan to install a fascist dictatorship. George's grandpa would be very proud of him.
- Wizardo55, on 03/05/2008, -0/+25Glad someone noticed, but then again Newportbeachguy could be sarcasm. Probably not though.
- theodenking, on 03/05/2008, -1/+26"Plus, England now celebrates Guy Fawkes night every November 5th."
I guess this could be confusing for our friends across the Atlantic. So in case you get the wrong end of the stick, we burn him in effigy on November 5th. - zapperdude60, on 03/05/2008, -4/+29I heard there was a conspiracy to copy and paste your comment and get buried for it.

Did they? - Memitim, on 03/05/2008, -3/+26Meh, you'll probably get your cell in Gitmo for "inciting terrorism" or some *****.
- quiksliver, on 03/05/2008, -2/+25I hope you live in Canada
- vondrak, on 03/05/2008, -1/+23I would agree with you on principle but it's only 2 pages.
