- deviouskoopa, on 03/29/2008, -1/+8When will the new Department of BusTire Security be formed?
- smoothdogg00, on 03/29/2008, -1/+3You must be joking. Everything has to be about Bush with you people.

- ksong12, on 03/29/2008, -1/+2Erm, same thing happened at my school. Result? They took a day off of our spring break, sigh. The "administration" (or lack thereof), always wins.
- daza, on 03/29/2008, -0/+2Damn those teachers for wanting you to learn! You do know they get a holiday too if no one turns up to the school?
- theAlice, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1Hot tire on tire action!
- MaxPayne3476, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1same thing happened as a senior prank at my high school. Yawn, we got a 90 minute delay and the kids responsible got community service.
- SimonSezz, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1This could just be a prank but there is also something big going on with the bus companies: Unions want to organize them and the companies don't want to have organized workers (more money and benefits for the works, less money for the company). So the Unions might be retaliating by vandalizing the school busses.

- GANGSTAGEEK, on 03/28/2008, -21/+3Hey, I go there. I got up for school, left and no one was there and I was all WTF. And then I found out that the buses were slashed. Go figure.
- sakhat, on 03/28/2008, -5/+2Lucky you, enjoy a day off
- CATSCEO, on 03/29/2008, -1/+6Your immaturity shows.
- GANGSTAGEEK, on 03/28/2008, -18/+2Hey I go to Taylor right, so I get up for school this morning and find out, after I get there, that some a-hole had slashed some tires. I was all "WTF!"
- rebattim, on 03/28/2008, -0/+15BS, it was you and you know it.
- deviouskoopa, on 03/29/2008, -0/+7And you told us twice because...?

- Maryus, on 03/28/2008, -9/+4 Did anyone else think that 75 tires had been slashed in total from multiple buses after reading the title?

- ieataquacrayons, on 03/28/2008, -7/+4Senior Slash Day?
- uncommonwords, on 03/28/2008, -5/+8Damn my senior prank was lame...
- SilentRamble42, on 03/29/2008, -2/+4at least you had one, unlike my sorry excuse for a class. 400+ people, and we couldnt come up with a thing.
- terracottapai, on 03/29/2008, -0/+11Ours was pretty awesome.
We had 45-minute open lunch, so, what we did was, every day, for the entire year, we would go out to lunch and come back extremely stoned. It was great.
Come to think of it, that was our junior prank, too. - locamama, on 03/29/2008, -2/+1I don't consider this a prank when it's destruction of property. Toilet paper and shaving cream is a prank.
- div2n, on 03/28/2008, -2/+8There was a Top 10 senior pranks on MTV a week or so ago. One of them was about some seniors letting the air out of some bus tires to try to get out of school. I can't help but wonder if that show inspired this escalation of the idea.
- innocentsinner, on 03/29/2008, -0/+20Letting the air out of tires is way less asshole-ish than slashing them
- specialK16, on 03/29/2008, -1/+1But slashing them is ten times cooler.
- kolinkoolface2, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1no, i live in michigan. kids in a nearby town did it before and served jail time. This was about 2 years ago.
- Ajajadude, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1Wow. That sounds pretty lame.
- innocentsinner, on 03/29/2008, -0/+20Letting the air out of tires is way less asshole-ish than slashing them
- TimDigg, on 03/28/2008, -1/+23wasn't there an article today about 40 tires being slashed?
- Sabazou, on 03/29/2008, -0/+2Yes, in fact it's still in the current top 10

The *****?- Dokument, on 03/29/2008, -1/+5What
- blahed, on 03/29/2008, -0/+6No, they didn't *****.... but if the two stories ***** and each slashed tire couple had 1 kid each.... I believe we would have 57.5 kids.
- BryanJK, on 03/29/2008, -0/+2different stories
- silverecco, on 03/28/2008, -8/+3Two tire slashing stories on the front page in one day.
What is Digg coming to?- diversionmary, on 03/29/2008, -0/+2Tireslashistan is a threat to our freedoms. The MSM won't cover it so it's up to us independent bloggers.
- Persian5Life, on 03/28/2008, -12/+2duplicate checker people.

- ShoalinVsWuTang, on 03/29/2008, -0/+7I don't know why your being dugg down, that was a great horrible-pun
- CATSCEO, on 03/29/2008, -3/+1You suck at punning.
- 955701, on 03/29/2008, -0/+2Replacing 450 school bus tires. Now that's exhausting!
- joltcola, on 03/29/2008, -0/+3175 tires at $300 a piece for new ones. that sucks.
- BryanJK, on 03/29/2008, -0/+8plus the money they paid for maintenance & money lost for giving a day off
- ogore, on 03/29/2008, -0/+3It could be more, if more than one tire was slashed on each bus
- dcollins, on 03/29/2008, -12/+2This is the third time this week a story has gone popular with a dupe already in the "top 10" list on the front page.

- deviouskoopa, on 03/29/2008, -2/+39He just haaaaad to one-up the other 40-tire guy(s).

- Chebsi, on 03/29/2008, -2/+7Wow. I hope whoever did it gets fined or something.
- CATSCEO, on 03/29/2008, -0/+3The tires cost $300 each. $22,500 + cost for letting the students have a day off = lots of dough
- wibambau, on 03/29/2008, -0/+4Yeah, they found him.
- Ajajadude, on 03/29/2008, -0/+3Did they break his fingers?

- SilverBlade2k, on 03/29/2008, -0/+12I would have expected this kind of thing during final exam week, not during spring break.

- 13B1303, on 03/29/2008, -1/+3Taylor-tucky. Must be all that jet exhaust from the airport makin em crazy down there.
- spindle, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1Mentioning that Detroit's suburbs have a below average crime rate compared to other suburbs as a whole might be a good place to start.

- Diderotten, on 03/29/2008, -0/+4That's probably more work than what he would've got from school.
- pandaboy99, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1Im gonna go around and slash tires of all the kids who did this. But they probably too poor and dont own vehicles.. sucks for them... now i feel sorry for them this is their only form of entertainment..
- Owwmykneecap, on 03/29/2008, -1/+3First I'll Slash Slow...
Then I'll Slash Fast. - JulyZerg, on 03/29/2008, -2/+2When have I seen this before? Oh wait - on the FP earlier today!
- Jamesara13, on 03/29/2008, -3/+0I hope whoever did this gets a medal WOOT fight the man
- godplaysdnd, on 03/29/2008, -1/+0Somebody's trying to avoid a midterm...
- Cattywampus, on 03/29/2008, -1/+2This story has been submitted on Digg at least a couple times before.
- schmitey, on 03/29/2008, -0/+4I honestly change tires on semis as a crappy college job. Seventy five tires is EXPENSIVE. You're talking at least $20k just in tires and around $25k if he slashed the fronts because they have to be balanced. Thank god I don't have to work on them!
- Patori, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1Viva la revolution.
- vikingboy, on 03/29/2008, -0/+2Pics or didn't happen
- kolinkoolface2, on 03/29/2008, -0/+3i live in michigan and this is the second or third time this has happened. The last time it happened the kids got in deep ***** and i think they served some time.
- Jenadae, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1Thats it! I'm going for 100! Who's with me?
- quez, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1I can't wait for one of the idiots who did this to tell someone, who will tell someone else, until the entire school knows who did it. It's bound to happen. And I sure would hate to be one of those idiots.
- ksong12, on 03/29/2008, -0/+4Erm, same thing happened at my school. Result? They took a day off of our spring break, sigh. The "administration" (or lack thereof), always wins.
- Chebsi, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1Nice.
- HanSolo69, on 03/29/2008, -1/+1Wow. Bravo. It can't be easy to slash a school bus tire. Much less 75 of them.
- etx313, on 03/29/2008, -1/+2Taylor is the hood. I'm surprised they didn't steal the tires.
- utore, on 03/29/2008, -0/+3Taylor isn't the hood. Taylor is considered the south of Michigan.
- lumaga, on 03/29/2008, -0/+0Taylor isn't the hood. It's just garbage.
- spindle, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1I used to believe that too, mostly because that's what people always said when talking about Taylor. Then I started delivering pizzas all around the downriver area, including Taylor, and I realize that most of Taylor isn't trashy or ghetto or anything like what people had told me. I think it's just a case of people always wanting to claim that their city is better than the city next door.
The apartments in Taylor are ghetto though. Absurdly ghetto. As in, if you're looking for apartments in the downriver area, do not go for any in Taylor. Oh, they'll be the cheapest around, but believe me.. not worth it.

- devoss, on 03/29/2008, -0/+5I bet it's Good Year trying to increase sales.
- Ruger11mcrdpi, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1I was waiting for a conspiracy post. thank you. Now QUICK! Someone link this to the current administration, blame Pres Bush and make a "vote Obama" spin on it.
- Transporter7220, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1If he was smart he would have slashed them on Sunday night so that they could get more than one day off... duh, if your going to vandalize at least do it right
- hadak, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1That's right between where I live (Ann Arbor) and work (Detroit).
- threemagic, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1Whatever happened to just going to the mall and having someone call the school and say you're sick?
I guess I'm old. -
