- ironeus, on 08/01/2008, -0/+75If this would be a civilian's car bought at auction, discovering such amounts of cocaine wouldn't be written off as owner's negligence.
- bgrah449, on 07/11/2008, -2/+46$400k in coke ... some low-level thug's nuts probably went through some trauma for that *****-up.
- lacronicus, on 07/10/2008, -8/+47Wait, so you're saying that, rather than a car confiscated from drug dealers having secret drugs in it, the cops somehow managed to install hydraulically controlled compartments into a car they only use during work hours, and proceeded put a large amount of cocaine into said car for no particular reason at all, knowing that car would be inspected periodically?
- HiddenCanuck, on 07/11/2008, -1/+34Come on, who among us hasn't had $400,000 worth of cocaine in our cars at one time or another?
- Ljay90, on 07/11/2008, -0/+31They were only surprised that they still had $400,000 worth of it left after two months...
- orangesparkz, on 07/11/2008, -1/+31No officer, I didn't find nothin in the Honda, in fact, I just traded it in for a BMW
- Chairboy, on 07/11/2008, -6/+3690% of cops are criminals? If I've told you once I've told you a million times to knock off the hyperbole.
- P5ycHo, on 07/11/2008, -1/+29If it was found in my car, I would be jailed.....
- coyote1284, on 07/11/2008, -1/+27"Good work, Lou"
- socalftw, on 07/11/2008, -1/+27"this stuff on my mustache?!?! errr, it's from the powdered donuts sarge"
- toxicshok, on 07/11/2008, -2/+27officers later added that "it was some fly-ass *****"
- protodon, on 07/11/2008, -0/+2450 lbs cocaine + Some Flinstones Foot Action = Alternative Energy Source
- dunderballer, on 07/11/2008, -2/+25That's probably what they use to sprinkle on minorities
- inactive, on 07/10/2008, -2/+24We really need to start testing some of these police officers to see if they are still BREATHING.
- inactive, on 07/11/2008, -3/+23That amount of coke would be worth 10% of that if the drug wars ended. The profit made from the illicit sales of coke are staggering and the people who deal it and smuggle it are very good at hiding it, as evidenced by this car with its secret compartments.
- Hetman, on 07/10/2008, -34/+52Sure. I do not beleive this *****. Some other undercover cop probably had plans on selling it and it was accidentally discovered by one of the very few good cops, so this is the excuse they gave. Cops are nothing more than legal criminals 90% of the time. Its not there fault power corrupts, There needs to be better over sight.
- John370, on 07/11/2008, -1/+17"I don't do Cocaine, I just like the way it smells".
- richiewrt, on 07/11/2008, -3/+1790% of internet statistics are made up.
- mxmj, on 07/11/2008, -0/+13Sarge: Really? looks more like $200,000 worth.. I'll take care of that for you
- hasslinthehoff, on 07/11/2008, -0/+11My hydraulic compartment is filled with Viagra, baby.
- Hetman, on 07/11/2008, -3/+12And in actuality cops always overprice the value of street drugs. It sounds better to say something along the lines of 400,000k worth of coke. Instead of the actual price which is somewhere around 60k worth of coke. When you buy in quantity you do get a deal. That is true on all commodities.
- inactive, on 07/11/2008, -1/+10Sounds like possession to me. ;)
- oohgodyeah, on 07/11/2008, -0/+8I love that they are going to contact the person that bought the Honda at auction to see if their car has drugs hidden in it too. I hope the purchaser already cleared them out before the cops take them back!
- Hetman, on 07/11/2008, -3/+11This whole thing is pointless. There should be no war on drugs. All it does is empower gangs/criminal organizations and bad cops. It does not help society at all. There should be a camara on every cop at all times while he is on duty. Then I would respect them. Until then power corrupts is the policy I am sticking with.
- MaruLono, on 07/11/2008, -1/+8heh... "found"
- itsfunny, on 07/11/2008, -0/+7"We were just looking after it Boss......honest *sniff* *sniff*"
- cam0man, on 07/11/2008, -2/+9complete *****. drug dogs couldn't tell them it was there?
complex switch combinations? Once you see the relays just follow the wires and trip it manually. This is just negligence. - xerox, on 07/11/2008, -1/+8@JBrown99, "I speculate you're a total douche bag for insinuating that a majority of cops are crooks."
You clearly have never dealt with narcotics 'agents'. - Albear89, on 07/11/2008, -0/+7I dunno. 2.2lbs is equal to 14K in Texas.Lets do 22.72 *14 = 318K. You have to figure breaking it down street level could triple this esp. if you cook it into that horrible crack.
- TotalDouche, on 07/11/2008, -1/+8Uhhh... 50lbs of cocaine is worth waaaaay more than $400,000. Usually the media flips it the other way and says 10g of coke is worth $5M street price.
- Albear89, on 07/11/2008, -0/+7I can only imagine. Drugs in my Civic? ehhhh no? Thanks for the call. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
- tylerlb, on 07/11/2008, -7/+13***** be schemin with their hydraulic compartments and *****
- reparsed, on 07/11/2008, -0/+6Who would find it? Probably not those cops, unless they had 2 months to inspect your car.
- bigteebo, on 07/11/2008, -2/+8In this fair & just world, we wil now have to arrest the undercover officers with drug possession, as the police are subject to the same laws as we civilians are.
- fabriciom, on 07/11/2008, -1/+6"Now, police are trying to find out who owned the cocaine. "
Its mine, can you guys please have it shipped to:
P.O. Box 13321
Madrid, Spain 28332
-Thanks - Sanduu, on 07/11/2008, -1/+5Maybe he was feeling stressed and using it.
- morningmatters, on 07/11/2008, -0/+4At least the cop reported this. If the cop were crooked he would of kept his mouth shut.
- BigCalhoun, on 07/11/2008, -0/+4"Now, police are trying to find out who owned the cocaine."
If the car was confiscated in March, whoever stashed the drugs, and subsequently lost them, is fish food in the Trinity River by now. - Br3ach, on 07/11/2008, -0/+4That's some fine work there, Lou
- executorzz, on 07/11/2008, -0/+4It would be cheaper because there is a bigger supply.
- shortyjacobs, on 07/11/2008, -1/+5crap....hyperboled all over myself.
- dpantages, on 07/11/2008, -1/+4the police searched both cars earlier and found nothing.....lol promising at best...
- socalftw, on 07/11/2008, -1/+4lol...dave chappelle ftw
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7F50Cd8LME - reparsed, on 07/11/2008, -1/+4Do you mean that 100% of cops are criminals 90% of the time, or 90% of cops are criminals 100% of the time?
I believe the percentage of criminal behavior among cops tends to be about the same as the general public. - XtheXlanternX, on 07/11/2008, -0/+3Also, it would inevitably be stepped on at least once or twice by someone.
- JBrown99, on 07/11/2008, -0/+3Wow, dugg down for common sense? C'mon people, this guy hit the nail on the head. Open your eyes and realize this country is not as bad as you all make it seem.
@DteK - I have not heard of it until now, so I read the Wiki article. I'm not sure I see the point your making. - m4lomb, on 07/11/2008, -1/+3There is enough CIRCUMSTANCIAL evidence to indicte the entire law enforcement agency. I recommend their swift execution.
