- inactive, on 10/29/2009, -0/+11I have aibohphobia - fear of palindromes.
- escottberg, on 10/28/2009, -3/+13I really like the life.com galleries -- good user interface for viewing lots of pictures, and they're well written. And it's a good mix of serious and fun, like this one: http://www.life.com/image/91028027/in-gallery/3428 ...
- aussieNickuss, on 10/29/2009, -0/+9My aunt has an irrational fear of tennis balls. It's unbelievable, she cannot even be in the same room as a tennis ball. What's weird though is that she loves watching grand slam opens on TV....even if she has to stay awake the whole night.
- slapded, on 10/29/2009, -0/+8im afraid of balloons

- andytronic, on 10/29/2009, -0/+7Sorry, but that is a lame list. Photographs that they had lying around accompanied by the name of a phobia, and that's it. Brilliant.

- matticusf1nch, on 10/29/2009, -0/+5Anybody else notice that a lot of Digg articles are titled similarly? "Rare and Unusual," "Beautiful and Inspiring," etc.
- peteyb1313, on 10/29/2009, -0/+4What's even worse is the fear of fear of phobias, phobophobophobia.
- michael0310, on 10/29/2009, -0/+4In all fairness... Those were some scary knees.
- alienufo, on 10/29/2009, -1/+5Fear of Beautiful Women? I feel sorry for those people.
- Theresa42J, on 10/29/2009, -0/+4I have a fear of going under water in video games. I stopped playing Metroid when the water level rose after I beat Flaahgra. I hid behind my couch when I was playing the under water parts in Zelda. I stopped playing Echo, Jaws, and Vexx. When I am under water, I freak out and turn off the game immediately or pause it to calm down. Also I rarely get nightmares of going under water in video games. I feel less afraid when someone is with me while I go under water in the video game but I still kinda freak out.
- dolemite01, on 10/29/2009, -0/+3FOTM used to be 'Breaking'

- skate3214, on 10/29/2009, -0/+3I would so just leave tennis balls in random places around her house just to ***** with her. A good one would be filling one of her cupboards up with tennis balls and wait till she opens it heh heh.
- themastersb, on 10/29/2009, -1/+4I have fears of slideshows spanning across multiple pages and a single article spanning across multiple pages
- colto, on 10/29/2009, -0/+3...so I put a phobia on your phobias so you can fear while you fear.

- Nubli, on 10/29/2009, -0/+3happened yesterday but ok.
- dark2025, on 10/29/2009, -0/+2I think a lot of diggers have it.
- ragez, on 10/29/2009, -0/+2Cyclophobia isn't as bizarre as the fear of gravity. I mean, WTF? they must be freaking out 24/7
- 4rp4n3t, on 10/29/2009, -0/+2[thing] in ancient greek or Latin + phobia = Name for fear of [thing]

- EpicSelekta, on 10/29/2009, -0/+2Lutraphobia is actually a very common phobia. Just about everyone who watches South Park knows otters can't be trusted.
- mrpunman, on 10/29/2009, -0/+2To understand recursion, you must first understand recursion
- Thewhitedeath, on 10/29/2009, -0/+2I have 2 out of 29. Not so bad. Wrinkles and bridges. ***** them!
- KokomoNYC, on 10/29/2009, -0/+2Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia - fear of long words.
EDIT: Oops. Someone already wrote that. This is appropriate I guess: Monologophobia - fear of using the same word twice in close proximity proximity. - skate3214, on 10/29/2009, -0/+2See that bar that moves up and down on the side of your browser window that's called a scroll bar it allows you to scroll up and down a page so that you can see everything on it!
- elwey, on 10/29/2009, -0/+2Phobophobia: The fear of fear
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phobophobia - Okina, on 10/29/2009, -0/+2Peladophobia? really?
That can't be right.
Pelado is the spanish word for bald. - reshep, on 10/29/2009, -0/+2Is it that difficult to click?
- peteyb1313, on 10/29/2009, -0/+2that ending was hilarious
- marciot, on 10/29/2009, -0/+1Come now, more half the male population has chorophobia -- how does that qualify as "rare & unusual"?
Caligynephobia -- not that unusual either, especially here on digg.
Omphalophobia -- once you see the picture, you'll develop the phobia too. - patricengrant, on 10/29/2009, -0/+1fear of music...wtf?

- Theresa42J, on 10/29/2009, -0/+1I haven't got to that part yet. I did try to dare myself to dive into lake Hylia. When I fell off the bridge, the hair on the back of my nick stood up, I freaked out and then I turned off the Nintendo64. The good thing I saved before I jumped :)
