- phibit, on 11/14/2007, -21/+342Stephen Colbert for president of the WORLD!!
- quomen, on 10/27/2007, -4/+181Sorry for the comment hijacking but the site is EXTREMELY SLOW. Why not link to the actual group?
http://facebook.com/group.php?gid=7406420086 - swrostmore, on 11/14/2007, -9/+185Why is the MSM marginalizing Colbert and excluding him from debates? The neocons are terrified of his truthiness, thats why! They are even falsely accusing him of violating election laws in order to discredit him! COLBERT 08 REVOLUTION!
- orangesoda, on 10/29/2007, -10/+185Why wouldn't the Greatest Living American be president?
- missjenna123, on 10/29/2007, -10/+151Lol Stephen Colbert is amazing. He should become president and then annex Canada so we can have him as our president too!
- TheBigPoppaJW, on 10/29/2007, -3/+132join group...wait 10 seconds...click refresh...another 100 people have joined......this is insane
- shagie, on 10/29/2007, -5/+107I Am America--And So Can You!
- inactive, on 10/29/2007, -8/+109Too bad the 18-24 demo doesn't vote.
- Walshboy, on 10/29/2007, -6/+86Finally, someone that will take care of those horrible bears.
- DreKor, on 10/29/2007, -39/+114Finally, a candidate with enough mindless supporters to rival Ron Paul. At least now there will be something interesting to watch on the internet.
- jmgoody311, on 11/01/2007, -12/+86He's certainly better than Hillary, even if he was to be president entirely in character.
I hate that vile woman. - bullsfan03, on 10/27/2007, -3/+66Dorito's bags need his face on them
- GMorgan, on 10/26/2007, -1/+53Great President or
The Greatest President? - tehrob, on 10/27/2007, -6/+51Man of the year did it.
- frostmonkey, on 10/27/2007, -0/+45ours are the funny kind of joke...yours are the "oh my god are you ***** serious?" kind of joke
- hockey, on 10/26/2007, -2/+43They do. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on your point of view) Youtube and MySpace votes don't count in the election.
- negativefx, on 10/26/2007, -4/+44better than bush! colbert currently has no ties to any oil companies...
- jguy584, on 10/29/2007, -40/+80Do I like Colbert? Yea.
Do I think he is being an ass by running for president? Yes.
Haha, its a nice little joke that colbert has going, but I think that it is doing way more damage then people think.
He is a vote-stealing candidate, and the demographic that is going to be filling in his name on the ballot come election day is huge, and the same demographic that real candidates like RP need.
I think its silly that diggers are so concerned about America, but so gun-ho about colbert '08. He's a comedian, not a presidential candidate.
Every vote counts, and every vote for colbert is a wasted one. - allaboutdatiki, on 10/27/2007, -9/+49Elephants, Donkeys, Actors, Dimwits ... why not a comedian?
- inactive, on 10/29/2007, -7/+42Dear clueless *****: There's no such thing as "wasting" a vote. The point of Democracy, (which you appear to be to stupid to understand) is that I get to vote for whoever the hell I want, and if you don't like it, you can stick it up your backside.
- thunderFoots, on 10/26/2007, -3/+32I "Thumbs downed" your comment. It went from -3 to -9.
- frostyfrog, on 10/26/2007, -0/+26Don't forget he is in league with the Big Chip conglomerates, no matter how delicious they may be !
- inactive, on 10/26/2007, -11/+36While I don't support Ron Paul, I DO think it's interesting that ***** like DreKor seem to feel that anyone who actually cares about a candidate is "mindless".
- WorkingDead, on 10/29/2007, -4/+29I support anything that will help show what a farce the current party/nomination/election system is.
- fury420, on 10/26/2007, -3/+27the point is to expose the farce that is the process of running for president of the united states
- isunktheship, on 10/26/2007, -13/+37oh ***** i forgot elections are based on facebook group members.
- AndrewDB, on 01/10/2008, -1/+24And ours in the states aren't?!
- screwit, on 10/27/2007, -11/+34I am voting for Colbert. ***** them all !
- TheFlamingoKing, on 10/27/2007, -1/+22The demographic that would fill in his name on a ballot will be too stoned to remember to vote that day.
- chubbstar, on 10/28/2007, -1/+21Canadian leaders are like knock knock jokes while American leaders are like dead baby jokes.
- unearth, on 10/26/2007, -6/+26I saw in my news feed that like 40 of my friends joined it, and I tried to be a nonconformist by sitting it out. Since its so close, I now feel obligated to help reach the goal. Colbert/Foley 2008!
- inactive, on 10/26/2007, -2/+22Yhea but that movie sucked and this doesn't.
- centerblack, on 10/27/2007, -4/+23Honestly I think it would be fine.
- amoirae, on 10/26/2007, -0/+18Wait... I think I have it...
FNORD! - inactive, on 10/29/2007, -1/+19Do I necessarily want Colbert to be president? Considering I know nothing about his platform (and he's only running in South Carolina) I'd say that's pretty irrelevant.
Would I have a problem with a political satirist running? Not at all, as they are likely very concrete on their stances and more educated than the average person when it comes to what works in politics. - inactive, on 10/29/2007, -7/+25***** off, *****. He's running in the Primary of ONE State. It's hardly the end of Democracy. But even if he were running in the actual REAL election: who the hell are you to tell ANYONE what constitutes "throwing away their vote"? Seriously, go to hell. Democracy is about voting for whoever you feel like voting for. If I decide to vote for the ghost of Pol Pot, I'll damn well do so, and you can go screw yourself if you don't like it.
- wild, on 10/26/2007, -0/+17Never apologize for being a man and lending a helping hand.
- LordVance, on 10/26/2007, -1/+17You eat the body of Jesus Christ at church, why not metaphorically eat your other savior as well?
- inactive, on 10/26/2007, -0/+16But he does to Prescott Pharmaceuticals.
- john2kx, on 10/26/2007, -4/+20Why would he want to become president? He makes a lot more money doing what he loves now.
- amoirae, on 10/26/2007, -0/+15Cool Ranch Colbert
Doritos or a commercial parody?
"What we have here is a failure to masticate." - inactive, on 10/26/2007, -2/+16http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=7406420086 over 900,000 users now
- herrstabby, on 10/26/2007, -12/+26I really hate to be a buzz kill, but does anyone here really, and I mean REALLY want a political satirist to be president? Quite frankly if I could decide then the idea of being a career politician would be out, but seriously, voting for someone who's best known as being incredibly sarcastic?
- opnickc, on 11/03/2007, -0/+13Never going to win an election? He's serving his 10th term in congress. Last I checked, you got into congress by WINNING ELECTIONS.
- Monk22, on 10/26/2007, -12/+25conservatives arent the ones trumpeting paul dumbass.
- Calculon, on 10/27/2007, -2/+15And he (or anyone) will be an improvement over our current president. I mean Colbert is intelligent atleast.
- skyfire1, on 10/26/2007, -9/+22This is all I see on the youtube comments.
