- coolian, on 10/14/2007, -5/+281'Then they pushed me on the floor and I went mad. I was lashing out on the floor and then I stood up and was kicking them all. 'I pushed one and kung fu kicked the other one between the legs and he let out a scream. They ran off scared after I did that and I still had all my money.'
What a badass. This guy puts Chuck Norris to shame. - mickeyknoxxx, on 10/14/2007, -1/+166Just the other night I saw a big guy covered in full sleeved tats, with a tatoo on his bald scalp, gauges in his ear, A leather vest covered in silver spikes, a tattoo on his neck, shredded up jeans and steal-toe boots.
When I over heard his conversation he was talking in a voice that sounded similiar to a man who's balls have been kicked into his spleen. He was discussing with his buddy how him and his internet friends want to create an internet chatroom with a star trek theme.
Between that and this article, I guess things REALLY aren't what they seem. - ebradsha, on 10/14/2007, -8/+147This guy is my hero...
- CedEx, on 10/12/2007, -1/+70What a tough guy, only to be done in by an ingrown toe nail.
I guess his mother must have held him by the toe when she dipped him into the Styx. - Blakechi, on 10/12/2007, -2/+62I had a hard time believing it (especially since the guy looks like he's 70, not 100), but lo and behold..

Geri-asskick. - Zippo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+59Still working a job and kicking ass at 100... holy ***** this man is amazing!
- ymirscorpse, on 10/12/2007, -1/+50I would pay to see a video of that...
- draebor, on 10/14/2007, -0/+40Aww, no video?
- masterkenobi, on 10/12/2007, -3/+43How is kicking a guy in the balls a kung fu move? Still, mad props to the guy for being able to defending himself.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+35"Martin, who lives in sheltered accommodation in Lambeth Walk, has 17 children and fathered the first at 15."
What a f'n man. - masterkenobi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+33You meant to say Matlock.
- konspence, on 10/12/2007, -0/+30I think it's sad that someone would try to mug a 100 year old.
- OpticalLiam, on 10/12/2007, -0/+28I thought I'd seen this guy in the news before. He also holds the title of "Britain's Oldest Mechanic"!
http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2006260623,00.html - JimXugle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+27I hope that I look that not-bad when I'm 100...
- Tenareth, on 10/12/2007, -0/+26The great thing is, those kids have now probably realized they got their asses handed to them by a 100 year old man...
By the time they made it back to their houses, they were probably already "adjusting" what happened to each other: "Wow, he must have been a lot younger than he looked..." - Tetranitrate, on 10/12/2007, -2/+28Santa?
- capwn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+26caps lock key broken?
- kuzotz, on 10/14/2007, -2/+26this man can tell me to wax on and off anytime...
- daedalus1982, on 10/12/2007, -10/+34born in 1906 in France. if you need any extra fingers to help you count you let me know. Meanwhile leave him alone
- look4alec, on 10/12/2007, -1/+23there is only one person close to that age who is capable of such a feat:
Master Splinter. - inactive, on 10/14/2007, -1/+22Where's the source for this article? other than Joe's ha ha blog.
- CedEx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+20Kung Fu is full of dirty moves. Which is why it never became a sport, all the good moves would be illegal.
- mandarin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+19@daedalus1982
I think he meant the guy looks young as a compliment Matlock... - mraustin1337, on 10/12/2007, -0/+18For being 100 he does not look 100. Props to him for being hardcore.
- FearMEiDEA, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16I know alot of old people, 70+, who CAN retire, but they don't wanna just sit in their house and rot away/die... they have worked their entire lives, and they LOVE it. So he's prolly just still working because it makes him feel good, and keeps him busy. Hell it may be related to his longevity.
- bflfab, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17Fark didn't write it either. News aggregate sites get their stories from each other all the time.
- neuroticus, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17Yea... he really doesn't look 100. Still very respectable for someone whatever his age is.
- rshu4you, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16RTA
He WANTS to work - cthulhukb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14Double-check your math.
- eetraveller, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13@lostradamus: The entire premise of sites life Fark and Digg is based on "stealing" articles. Lighten up.
- Akaji, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13Go back to watching the Cartoon Network? Is TMNT still running?
TMNT's been around for a couple decades now. Making reference to it usually shows that you're older, not younger... - Ibanezfoo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14I blame video games on the old mans vicious beating of the poor defenseless young men...
(/sarcasm) - mutatron, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14@Blakechi,
Two points for spelling "lo" correctly in "lo and behold". - nekkron99, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10Do your math there Bud. He would have been no older than 39 by the war's end. Idiot.
- Nougat, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11I'm laying odds that, while he did kick some ass, he wasn't using a martial art of any kind. Sounds like he was using "kung fu" in the generic sense.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12Stealing articles? Is everyone supposed to double check with fark, slashdot, reddit, etc before they submit to digg? Don't be f'n stupid. And if you're being sarcastic, make it a little more obvious :)
- kuzotz, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11its called a compliment lol
- daedalus1982, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10i stand corrected. and he certainly doesn't. he must smoke and drink (george burns diet)
- jhshukla, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9didn't take a sick leave for 80 years!!!
- brnews, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9You should buy a copy of World history for dummies..
- spudnic, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9It means he both washes cars and fixes them, its not frigging rocket science
- mash8591, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8This guy is pro.
- LaueOfficer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7"i how the grammer nazis bash your door down and proceed to take all your keyboards and pencils, so you cant write ***** again."
....
Because your grammar and spelling are so great... - praptak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Look up "kin geri". It's a karate move (groin kick), but I'm pretty sure they have an equivalent in wu shu too.
- ABadInAlbany, on 10/12/2007, -15/+21That guy's not 100. He doesn't look a day over 80.
- staffell, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9who hasn't heard the term x-cum-y before???
..bunch of uneducated philistines.. - schabrat14, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5@masterchi.....if you want to work @100 you can too, or not..... there is no law against letting old people do what they want.
You might as well just beat him up yourself!! Trying to take away his joy of working.....psh! - asauterChicago, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Well, this forum is mostly Americans, and we use the term "come" as in British Poster-come- Arrogant Asshat Poster. The term "cum" is slang for ejaculation in our society. So when somebody uses cum in a sentence, hilarity ensues.
LOL, I said cum!! - CedEx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5The fact that he is working and doing something probably contributes to his long life.
If he just retired at 65, and sat around the next 35, there would be no way he'd be in any condition to even walk let alone fend off a mugging. - 8177, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5if by world war II you mean korea then yes. yes he did.
