- DouglasQ, on 06/20/2009, -0/+52Just edging out the controversial 'Wii Cluster Grenade'
- thezoner, on 06/20/2009, -1/+49I enjoy watching the videos of people throwing the controllers thru their flatscreens. I can only imagine how hilarious a bowling ball would be.
- joshqpublic, on 06/20/2009, -2/+46i just picture some dude with the fred flintstone lump on his head
- netwraythe, on 06/20/2009, -0/+31This is Satan's own peripheral device. Can't wait for the Youtubes!
- Supertrout, on 06/20/2009, -0/+24Not as bad as the Wii javelin.
- ch28kid, on 06/20/2009, -0/+23At least HDTV sales will go up!
- PhillyOC, on 06/20/2009, -0/+14Bah! They use the word "dangerous" as if it is a bad thing.
- mattmacneil, on 06/20/2009, -2/+15Regardless of the physical damage it's going to do, it's just such an awfully lame product.
- ddrirc, on 06/20/2009, -0/+11Any time I've seen a group of people that still use their Wii, it's always Wii Bowling.
- JudgeMonkey, on 06/21/2009, -0/+9Zero Punctuation isn't the only thing on The Escapist?
*Fixed it again. It seems some schmutz got stuck in there. - twiztidsinz, on 06/20/2009, -0/+9Better be made of foam or someone's gonna get a-hurt REEEEEEAL bad!

- kraytwin2001, on 06/20/2009, -1/+7Then enjoy your TV while you still can...
- arunforce, on 06/20/2009, -1/+6Pfft, real life bowling is overrated anyways.
I rather play my digital counterpart. /s - philipz78, on 06/20/2009, -0/+5I thought it was a joke, but I was wrong!
- moothemagiccow, on 06/21/2009, -0/+4Ok, so here's a link on digg, to the escapist, via engadget, via switched, via oh gizmo! via mtvu. Anyone think blogging content theft is getting a bit out of hand?
- firedrillduckie, on 06/20/2009, -1/+4Heres a way to get double extra bonus realism:
1. Drive/walk/bike to your local bowling alley
2. Play with real 16lb+ bowling balls and knock down real pins
3. ????
4. Profit. - gl77, on 06/20/2009, -0/+3i really dont see a problem here, im sure the thing is light, being made of hollow plastic and all, probably not much heavier than your wiimote. and it has a strap. i have owned a wii for about 6 months now, play it every day and have never had the wiimote get away from me because i use the wrist strap. this is just a sensationalist article not based in fact or truth at all, but based in "could be's" and "what if's" buried.
- b1kerguy, on 06/20/2009, -0/+3i love how he hits the tv like its going to help the BROKEN SCREEN
oh, just kidding, im not broken! got ya! - deaftly, on 06/20/2009, -1/+4Blog spam from another blog from another blog and yet another blog after that. Good work Digg

- R1100S, on 06/20/2009, -0/+2With the advent of digital video and massive hard drives, I film my son a LOT (I also delete a lot of videos too).
I can assure you, that if he throws a wii-mote through Daddy's 58" LCD that it was NOT planned.
/and yes, I would post that ***** on youtube - MegaSilver, on 06/20/2009, -1/+3I think this is something Sony invented to drive up the sale of new TV's
- Sabin8, on 06/21/2009, -0/+2Do video game hardware developers at Nintendo lack common sense? Yeah lets give people a big ass controller that can for sure ***** up your TV if it accidentally gets loose.
- htm2112, on 06/20/2009, -0/+2I thought this was a joke...
- shillabus, on 06/21/2009, -0/+1It's not just for Wii Bowling.
"Then you can proceed to enjoy Wii Bowling, Brunswick Pro Bowling, Ten Pin Alley 2, and other quality bowling titles." - shillabus, on 06/21/2009, -1/+2No, they really didn't.
- gothicgirl2, on 06/21/2009, -0/+1i predict law suits coming
- s0nicfreak, on 06/22/2009, -0/+1But that cost extra money, I already have a Wii. Also it would require actual friends if I wanted someone to play against.
- Arseny89, on 06/20/2009, -1/+2My dream of a Wii bow and arrow is coming closer to being realized.
- NeoTechni, on 06/21/2009, -0/+1Yeah, they really do. All Wii stuff must go through them first.
- Rudegar, on 06/20/2009, -0/+1lots mention Youtubes about tv's being ruined by controllers but why would people just happen to
be recording when it happens how many people spend time recording others play wii ?
sounds as fishy as all those funny videos of old man trying to unfold lawn bed ....... - JudgeMonkey, on 06/20/2009, -0/+1The worst thing is, I know that's true, and I haven't used my wii in a LONG time, but I kinda want one anyway.
- Borgcube, on 06/22/2009, -0/+1The Unskippable? The guys that had the crossover with Yahtzee? Anything? You don't know what you're missing.
- Egotrippin, on 06/25/2009, -0/+1Some 8 year old kid is going to be beaten severely because he broke dad's 50" plasma.
- emjaymj, on 06/21/2009, -0/+1common sense... hmmm
common sense should also tell you that hardware like this is third-party, so you should probably be asking yourself that very same question. - NeoTechni, on 06/21/2009, -0/+1Nintendo...
- ImyK, on 06/21/2009, -0/+1This is about 17 different ways of ***** up.
- sremick, on 06/22/2009, -0/+1I think this broke a new record on the number of blogspams you have to dig through to get to the original article.
- RedSaint, on 06/21/2009, -0/+1I don't even see gadgets anymore. All I see here is a waste of plastic - and knowing about the great garbage patch in the pacific many of these are bound to end up there as well. A waste of money and materials.
- staticneuron, on 07/08/2009, -0/+1Russel Peters FTW.
- AlexSelby, on 07/04/2009, -0/+1Care to list the 17 ways?
- DredPir8Robrts, on 06/21/2009, -0/+1I want to buy it for people I hate. I'll throw in a bottle of gin just to speed up the inevitable
- jtbndy, on 06/22/2009, -1/+2> 16 lb bowling balls are illegal. 16 is the highest weight you can get a ball at.
