It's like the first couple generations of video gamers, now pushing 30 and 40 years old, are all nostalgic about the "good ol' days." I can just hear the maker of this thing saying, "When I was a kid, we only had 16 colors and eight bits of memory, and all the characters looked like Lego bricks, AND WE LIKED IT!"

- LogicBomB, on 02/21/2008, -2/+41I think there is a SNES revival. Mostly because the SNES kicks the ***** out of most consoles as far as how many amazing games there were. My 360 is fun as hell but there are like 12 good games for it. The SNES had many dozens of awesome, awesome games and the SNES was also on the presipace of 3D so the graphics were all very good for 2D instead of "best we could get 2d" the NES had or ***** 3d that the PS1/N64 had.

And that it should be more present at today's consoles. As much as Mario 64 and Galaxy were cool, Mario and 2D just feels like a perfect fit.
