- NipGrip, on 10/10/2007, -0/+13The XBOX had 8 Gigs of memory!?
- throwingks, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5He was being sarcastic. The description is worded wrong.
The Xbox has 8GB of Storage.
Storage is not the same as Memory. - SqueakyWheel, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Just buy another Wii for more storage thats how much a Nintendo Hard drive would cost.
- McTendo, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Too bad that's not what they said. They said it won't be getting it at launch, unless you can link to an article saying otherwise.
- doshindude, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1You don't know that. They are still in negotiations with Nintendo on that.
- doshindude, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3Not to mention Guitar Hero III will simply demand a Wii HDD with its DLC.
- ST0N3, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2you're an idiot. it did not have 8GB of memory, it had an 8GB hard drive. learn the lingo.
- mywhitenoise, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1I bet you $500 you wont be getting DLC. Lots of developers break their word.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2It's not getting DLC. That is, if you beleive the developers and all.
- kravex, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2When it comes I hope it's not an official Nintendo product, the demand would be so high how would they cope with production? Maybe that's why we've had to wait this long because they don't want a 3rd party option (who can blame them they're a company out to make a profit which is OK) but they don't know how to manufacture the amount they'll need.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -3/+2It's not inevitable, it's merely desired. Big difference.
Nintendo could easily let you use USB harddrives, but they most likely won't, they don't even let you use SD Cards the way you want to. Stop expecting the world from a company that tells you to want what you're given, rather than give you what you want. - mywhitenoise, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1Demand would not be high at all. The only thing you'd be able to store would be VC games, and saves...they don't take up a whole lot of room as it is.

Yup, some even came with 10 gigs later on.
