At my pinnacle of geekchievement, I went through it 3 1/2 times without dying (without entering the code) and by the time I finally died, I had amassed something like 34 lives. Luckily, world events have me hopeful that RL will soon resemble Contra, since I suck at life.

This just in: rosebud;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;! - cadmiumpaint, on 01/08/2009, -1/+45what they don't tell you is that before you do that code, you have to blow on the cartridge for a while to clear out the dust, then do the same to the NES, then do that up down up down thing to the cartridge tray until the NES finally acknowledges their is a game in their that needs to boot up....then you can do the code.
