It doesn't spoil ***** if you don't know what you're looking at. Try watching the trailer for any random movie that you recently watched, the whole thing is a damn spoiler...

The point of box art is to show something that is very clear to understand at a glance and grab your attention as you're walking past it in the store. I know we'd all love to see it as fancy as possible, but that is not what sells the game best and Nintendo is, after all, a business.
