- dillonflynn, on 11/09/2009, -9/+57I just hope that it's portable enough for me to take it back to 2003 when I still care.
- Flynnz, on 11/09/2009, -1/+33very very cool. But I must say that it's pretty damn ugly if I am being honest. and the disk spinning in the back just seems like a bad time just waiting to happen.
But still better than I could ever do, so dugg - eanbowman, on 11/09/2009, -2/+28Sure the spinning disc won't hurt you. No spinning disc is going to hurt you.
The reason to put a door on it would be to prevent your drive motor from dying due to too many periods of heavy load when you rub it on something. That and your discs could get destroyed.
He doesn't seem to care though. He's the kind of guy who grabs the discs from the data side. I can't stand that. :| - Awwzm, on 11/09/2009, -1/+264m18sec - He turns it on.
- crickey23, on 11/09/2009, -1/+20This is really nifty. Like I would need anymore ways to feed my Animal Crossing addiction.
- TomFrost, on 11/09/2009, -2/+16Spend less, buy a cheap laptop with mid-level graphics, and download Project64.
Portable :) - Frankzulla, on 11/09/2009, -8/+21I would slaughter an entire family of yaks for that lil bastard.
- euphoria860, on 11/09/2009, -1/+13WHAT THE CHRIST IS THIS!?
- Tiptup300, on 11/09/2009, -2/+13I would pay up to $600 for a portable N64. Not so much for a gamecube....
- Shawn4168, on 11/09/2009, -2/+13People don't want to go back to N64 for the crappy 3d graphics, they want to go back for the awesome games. You can't play those on DS.
- dumass4u, on 11/09/2009, -1/+12Please look me up and tell me 'I am from the future . . . do less homework and bang more chicks"
- caramelzappa, on 11/09/2009, -1/+10You also don't want dust or anything else to get on the lense. I don't think this guy cares at all. He just wanted to do the project, and he's probably going to sell it. He did a dreamcast portable a while ago and just sold it on ebay. He got over $600 for it.
- cfisavant, on 11/09/2009, -1/+10The guys voice reminds me of Butters from South Park. He says things deliberately like Butters.

- iheartbakon, on 11/09/2009, -1/+9How have you not been murdered yet?
- AiR1890, on 11/09/2009, -1/+8Don't Game Cubes cost about the same price as a 360/PS3 game now?
- jeddyftb, on 11/09/2009, -2/+8That is the balls.

EVER - UselessTrivia, on 11/09/2009, -1/+6I bought my gamecube years after it first came out. It was 50 bucks lightly used, and that was probably 5 years ago or more.
The only reason I bought it was because I wanted to play Windwaker, and I saw they also had made Gamecube ports of several other zelda games, OOT, Majora's Mask, Zelda 1 and 2.
I think the only other gamecube game I ever bought was Super Smash Bros Melee. It was entirely worth the 50 dollar purchase for Windwaker alone. It was nice to have a chance to finally finish Majora's Mask, though. I played that on N64 but got distracted and never finished it. - Jaryd2006, on 11/09/2009, -2/+6Uhm, that really looks like crap?
Why not just buy one of those little 5 inch monitors and battery packs they sold for gamecubes that would do basically the same thing without making a flying disc of death thrower attached to the back? Great idea, poor execution.
http://www.knightdiscounts.com/VideoGames/gamecube ... - omgwtflawl, on 11/09/2009, -1/+5Great, except the disk is spinning away at the bottom of the console there, uncovered. So everything you set it down to go grab a drink you destroy the disk and burn out the motor.
- supersonicjim, on 11/09/2009, -1/+5Of all time?
I really wish people wouldn't use phrases like that for products that aren't even a decade old. - Elset, on 11/09/2009, -1/+4Gamestop is selling refurbed GC's for $30...
- Beonarri, on 11/09/2009, -2/+5That's really cool, but one of the advantages of the Gamecube is that super-comfy controller. I think I'd like the portable Gamecube more if I could use the normal controller.
- GhettoHmbrglr, on 11/09/2009, -1/+4Want...
- UselessTrivia, on 11/09/2009, -1/+4Play the Gamecube ports of Zelda, Zelda 2, Ocarina of Time and Majora's mask.
- rolledupaces45, on 11/09/2009, -1/+4Also, do you see where the c-stick is placed? He has to reach his thumb over it to HIT THE ****** A BUTTON. You know, that button you hit to do everything in many games?
Even so... I'd take one on a plane ride. - veriix, on 11/09/2009, -1/+4Looks about the same size as the new DSi coming out.
- videographer, on 11/09/2009, -1/+3I'm sure he's a real smart guy, but would it kill him to turn off the autofocus on that camera? Sheesh.
- Asym79, on 11/11/2009, -0/+2Now someone should make a handheld Xbox. That'd be a biiiig handheld.
- Elranzer, on 11/10/2009, -1/+3Well, DS has its own awesome games. They've managed to do a successful port of Super Mario 64, as a launch title no less, so I wonder why more N64 titles weren't ported to DS.
- noahgelman, on 11/09/2009, -1/+3Greatest spam reply ever
- Rain12913, on 11/09/2009, -1/+3"You are pleasantly surprised when he saw me without a night pajamas, I promise you meet me in an intimate atmosphere!"
You will go down in history as the only person to ever say this in the English language. Congratulations. - sageerrant, on 11/09/2009, -1/+3You can almost play them on the PSP, though.
Next generation should have enough power to do straight-up emulation, I would imagine. - smrekar, on 11/09/2009, -1/+3"Hey Kids? You Want a popsicle?"
- Elranzer, on 11/10/2009, -1/+2Looks like it gets better battery life than the GameGear.
- veriix, on 11/09/2009, -1/+2bargin bin 360/ps3 games, yeah.
- eanbowman, on 11/10/2009, -1/+2kibiz0r: There's a limited amount of plastic to be ground down as well. Also, resurfacing doesn't make perfect discs all the time.
Regardless, why not avoid ruining your discs and just handle them with care? It takes only a minimum effort to do so. :P - 83JB, on 11/09/2009, -1/+2Contrary to his username, Hailrazer sure sounds like a friendly guy.
- Elranzer, on 11/10/2009, -1/+2Tiptup300 is right. It's been over 10 years since the N64 came out and emulation for it still isn't perfect. The emulator makers have mastered everything up to SNES and Genesis but everything after is spotty.
N64 and PS1 are still very glitchy (Saturn is non-existent) and PS2 and newer just isn't there yet. It must be much tougher to emulate polygon-capable systems. - smrekar, on 11/09/2009, -1/+2He reminds me of the guy from Family guy. The pervy one. "Hey....wanta a popsicle?"
- Leminnes, on 11/09/2009, -2/+3This reminded me how much I love Wind Waker music. I was singing along as he played the game. :P
- veriix, on 11/10/2009, -1/+2No way, same exact story except I still have to finish Majora's Mask.
- MrChunks, on 11/09/2009, -1/+2He's also got geek hands and arms. All hairy and spindly.
- piieerrrree, on 11/09/2009, -1/+2Dugg for the pink memory card
- Leezus, on 11/15/2009, -0/+1That's good to hear Tom. When I tried it on my Laptop, it was just barely too slow, and I figured it was the emulator, as my laptop should have been sufficient, but maybe I ought to give it a try on my new desktop.
- aquapete, on 11/10/2009, -1/+2ughh i cant stand people who touch the data side. i dont think ive ever deliberately laid a finger on the data side since the first time i touched a disc.
- UselessTrivia, on 11/10/2009, -1/+2Truth be told I'm actually not finished with it myself. I've gotten half way through about three times and crap out either before, during or right after the zora level.
I've been working on it for the last couple of weeks on and off, though. I'm gonna finish this time. - skate3214, on 11/10/2009, -1/+2You may think it was a waste but I'm sure the dude who built it didn't.
- RUFiO006, on 11/09/2009, -1/+1YouTube is down for maintenance and will be back shortly.
