- kravex, on 11/11/2007, -2/+1182 player DS! One plays, one chargers the battery.
- slimthps, on 11/08/2007, -5/+96I would rather beat off.
- Darrelc, on 11/08/2007, -0/+79Could always tell your mate its a 2 player fishing game!
- Nobi-Wan, on 11/11/2007, -0/+68What if you were trapped on a deserted island with nothing but food and your DS until you were rescued?
- Braingoo, on 11/11/2007, -2/+65make foot pedal model and that may actually work.
- xMaru, on 11/08/2007, -0/+41DUDE YOU CANT GO TO THE BATHROOM I HAVE 8 SECONDS LEFT!!!!!
- BobaFettTDG, on 11/06/2007, -1/+31Um, a wind up power generator that has a DS plug...
- nymphetamine, on 11/06/2007, -2/+26Now if we can somehow put all that 'effort' into powering a DS, then we just might have something.
- h4mx0r, on 11/07/2007, -5/+26Hmmm... Semen powered batteries... I think you're on to something! Quick, to the bat cave!
- tmslak, on 11/06/2007, -0/+20The only thing that needs to be done to make this AMAZING is to convert the hand crank to a hamster wheel.
Finally, plausible hamster-powered electronics!!! - DarkDx, on 11/07/2007, -2/+21And that makes it a DS accesory.
- tsunami643, on 11/08/2007, -1/+16You really set yourself up on this one.
- obnauticus, on 11/08/2007, -0/+15Anyone here know where to get one.
I wanna give it to my friend for his birthday as a joke. Lol. - thatsmyaibo, on 11/06/2007, -0/+15Just like my girlfriend.
- Ibox, on 11/06/2007, -1/+15then get a Wii and play with it. Boo I'm sorry.:(
- Ibox, on 11/11/2007, -0/+14might taste pretty good with ketchup.... need water tho. prolly wont go down very well.
- inactive, on 11/06/2007, -0/+14If you wind it fast enough, does the +voltage current overclock the CPU?
- inactive, on 11/08/2007, -0/+14Rather pointless indeed. The only time you'd need this is when the Zombie Apocalypse occurs and all infrastructure fails. Even then the last thing you'll be thinking about is playing your DS.
- kimbokasteniv, on 11/08/2007, -1/+13And you know what that sounds like?
- inactive, on 11/06/2007, -0/+11I've got a brilliant idea for an invention...how about a robotic hand that automatically winds it for you and runs off of...er wait.
- Hobbes24, on 11/06/2007, -4/+14i'd rather have sex, but to each his own
- stklaw, on 11/08/2007, -0/+9Just one player.
They're bringing wii fit to the DS. - GeneralGore, on 11/06/2007, -1/+10The only reason I would buy one is if I was so rich that I could hire someone to spin it for me.
- TridenTBoy, on 11/06/2007, -0/+9He was joking.
- inactive, on 11/07/2007, -0/+9Everyone else on digg has.
- NeoCortex, on 11/06/2007, -0/+7McGuyver would just convert the DS into the control panel of a 747 built out of coconuts and chewing gum.
- artemus, on 11/06/2007, -1/+7Ok, maybe I could see a use for this... if I lived in the Sahara Desert.
- louiedog, on 11/06/2007, -0/+6What's the point of being rich if you are using the same power sources as middle class people and don't get to exploit anyone?
- Skanadian, on 11/06/2007, -1/+7It's not like there is a section for you to post videos in.
- sailadayaway, on 11/07/2007, -0/+5Steps in the right direction if you ask me
- grantmoore3d, on 11/07/2007, -0/+5Hook that up to a stationary bike, and you've got both excersize and Nintendo!!.... though a Wii might be a little more fun.
- nickelking, on 11/06/2007, -2/+7I'm afraid to ask what kind of wind up toys you've used.
- MarkOfTheDead, on 11/06/2007, -0/+4Pfft. I'm prepared, speak for yourself.
- coyote1284, on 11/11/2007, -2/+6It's true, his girlfriend doesn't go down very well.
- chad78, on 11/11/2007, -0/+4Wow. I'm so glad it hasn't been said yet. This is the PERFECT Nintendo accessory!
"Now you're playing with POWER! Your own Power!"
(BTW, once again, digg needs a handheld section - or a DS Section and a PSP section...) - sailadayaway, on 11/06/2007, -0/+4And I know that no one asked me, so save your sarcastic replies
- dafragsta, on 11/06/2007, -0/+4And people expect kids to crank a laptop to a usable charge?
Get ta crankin' Pepe. - locriology, on 11/06/2007, -0/+4Hmm, I must be weird in being the only one who thinks this is kinda cool. Airplanes, road trips (I guess if the other sockets are taken). I've seen this sort of thing for a flashlight, but on a DS it's pretty neat
- stupergenius, on 11/06/2007, -0/+4Lookout! He's got a bomb!
- Naryuu, on 11/06/2007, -0/+4now i just need batteries for my automatic winder
- moocow1452, on 11/06/2007, -0/+4Do we play one life, or one level?
- PocketWatch, on 11/06/2007, -0/+4I would die of dehydration...
- MarkOfTheDead, on 11/06/2007, -0/+3I can't really think of any issues to really worry about other than knowing where the candles and matches are.
- coyote1284, on 11/06/2007, -0/+3If you're going to a cabin without electricity, isn't the point to get away from technology?
- KingGorilla, on 11/06/2007, -1/+4that's no fun
- Ghoztt, on 11/06/2007, -0/+3It's actually a good idea. I enjoy backpacking foreign countries, and the Nintendo DS is the ultimate portable gaming machine. (PSP is just too fragile) - When you're hiking someplace that doesn't have electricity, or if I ever do Mount Everest - this is a great way to RECHARGE your DS. Not charge it while you play it. Jeesh.
- stupergenius, on 11/06/2007, -1/+4One comment.
- CLShortFuse, on 11/06/2007, -0/+3I can picture it now. The weird looking kid in the corner, bobbing front and back winding this thing, repeating "just a few more spins... it'll be worth it"
Ah yes, sanity. - TexanRudeBoy, on 11/06/2007, -0/+3If my memory of "wind-up" electronic devices serves me, you'll have to wind up for three times as long as you want to play......
- jon02129, on 11/06/2007, -0/+3Unless you're training by playing Resident Evil 9.
