- pagancollective, on 03/14/2009, -1/+66THE FIRST FOUR OR FIVE COMMENTERS HAVE JOINED RECENTLY AND HAVE ONLY COMMENTED ON THIS STORY.
Sorry, I know caps are annoying, but seriously - I hate when submissions are doctored by the people who created them, and positing positive comments for your own story. I ***** hate fabricated comments in Digg submissions in a lame attempt to garner interest. If your story is good enough, it should be able to survive on merit.
/rant - inactive, on 03/14/2009, -0/+44wow ganon gets the whole triforce at one point and still fails to dominate? I think he needs to rethink his career choices.
- orion846, on 03/14/2009, -0/+42buried for the author faking the first 6 comments here
- orion846, on 03/14/2009, -0/+35hey guy, do you think we're retarded? all those commentors have joined recently and commented only here, you think we can't put 2 and 2 together to equal 5? COME ON!
seriously though, did you feel dirty after your 5th logout/login to make all those? - jecobo, on 06/11/2009, -1/+21Wonderfully eloquent!
- Gareth321, on 03/14/2009, -0/+19I'm telling all my friends to NEVER visit Zeldainformer.com.
- NeoTechni, on 03/14/2009, -0/+17Buried for defending your unscrupulous actions.
Learn from your mistakes, don't do it again, don't defend it.
We don't like when the person/site who submits the article makes fake accounts to comment. It screams spam.
"3 people, or as you claim 6, does not put something anywhere. 100+ diggs, thats not because of a few comments."
It's not the diggs, it's the spam. Giving yourself a thumbs up is not contributing to the discussion. - abortio, on 03/14/2009, -0/+17I agree this is a shameless attempt to run up traffic, but the article isn't bad. I'm conflicted.

- rentmitchum, on 03/14/2009, -0/+12For some reason I love reading about the Zelda timeline.. stuff like this too.. I really liked Angry Video Game Nerd's chronologically confused video, but the last video in the Zelda retrospective on screwattack was even better at fleshing out how they all (theoretically) went together.
I found the link before the edit time was up: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/15194.html
The rest of the retrospective was great too, but I really liked how they tried to piece the games together in an order. - JudgeMonkey, on 03/14/2009, -0/+11This post is entirely too awesome to be in the mini graveyard at the top here.
- mlvassallo, on 03/14/2009, -0/+11There was a lot of hate for the latest Zelda game but I seriously loved it.
- shadowblade989, on 03/14/2009, -0/+9Looks like I need to play Twilight Princess again.
- woofers07, on 03/14/2009, -0/+9Interesting how Bathykol, greygoose7, and Tempest815 all joined Digg TODAY.
- Luvboat, on 03/15/2009, -0/+9Play Majora's Mask. It breaks out of the plot mold, with what has to be one of the satisfying stories of all time, and then some
- Primous, on 03/14/2009, -1/+9That was a lot to read and I got about a quarter of the way through and got bored. Not to say what I did read was bad, just way to detailed for me.
- def1, on 03/15/2009, -0/+7you ***** wanker
- Frozo, on 03/14/2009, -1/+8Im a huge fan of Zelda games, but story..? You cant get much more basic. They ALL seem similar.
- ChrisInCali, on 03/14/2009, -8/+15Twilight Princess was too slow, and too linear. The characters felt totally lifeless, and the game was too long and drawn out. I felt like the game was padded for time with the useless wolf parts thrown in. The tears of light fetch quests were brutal. What worked on the N64 ten years ago, can't cut it anymore with games the like Oblivion taking the whole swords and adventure with RPG elements genre to a completely new level in terms of visuals, story, characters, voice acting, side quests, ect.
- MrBussi, on 03/14/2009, -0/+6why not post comments in comments section on the page?
- inactive, on 03/14/2009, -2/+8get out of my head navi!!!11
- n00bian, on 03/15/2009, -0/+6majoras mask has to be the most underrated zelda game (and one of the most underrated games of all time)
- KSUdesigner, on 03/14/2009, -0/+6Dude, grow up.
- Kardde, on 03/14/2009, -0/+5"The concept of an entire clan made up of literal Shadow Links is, of course, absurd, but that's not necessarily the situation here."
Yet the rest of the article is entirely sensible? - Ricky138, on 03/15/2009, -0/+5The Windwaker was a huge story change, i regret that when it first came out i used to talk crap about it, then i played it about a year ago when i had something to play gamecube games on (wii) and was shocked at how good it was
(not digging you up or down cause you do have a point when it comes to most zelda games) - Luvboat, on 03/15/2009, -0/+5Why would anyone bury this post?
- Elranzer, on 03/15/2009, -1/+5Fast shipping. A+++++ communication. Would buy from again!!
- sleze, on 03/15/2009, -0/+3You mean it isn't just for Homebrewing? It has a game too?
- gotadobo90, on 03/15/2009, -0/+3I liked the game it has good concepts
- spc4, on 03/14/2009, -1/+4It is just a game. A good game but still just a game. One of the best series of all time. Most of the games only have a few things in common: Link; Zelda; Gannon; Triforce
- beanenator, on 03/15/2009, -0/+3Well if link dies in that game it wouldnt really matter since it would only affect that one link he would just be a martyr for that generation.
- serpentor, on 03/14/2009, -2/+5Slightly OT, but is Twilight Princess playable on PC using the wii/gc emulators that are out?
- HalsMyPal, on 03/14/2009, -2/+5i envy you!
having a girlfriend who will talk about zelda is a blessing that can only come from the three golden goddesses! - themastersb, on 03/16/2009, -0/+3Press A (which you've probably just been mashing the entire time to get me to shut up) in order to hear what I just said again.
- Elranzer, on 03/15/2009, -0/+2In A Link to the Past, there weren't separate Triforces of Power, Wisdom and Courage. They attempted to change up the story a little, introducing the Triforce as a single entity, the "Golden Power."
Instead, there were pendants of Wisdom, Courage and Power, which were required to pull the Master Sword.. In Ocarina of Time, you did not need the three pendants to pull the Master Sword (it just chose you).
Wind Waker tried to merge the idea of the "Golden Power" Triforce in ALTTP and the separate Triforces (seen in Zelda1, 2 and Ocarina of Time). It also decided to switch the Master Sword's role... whoever could find it gets to be the hero (and anyone could find it), instead of the Master Sword only able to be used by the hero.
In Minish Cap (which was the third rewrite of the Four Sword story), there was no Triforce at all, but still a "golden power" of sorts. There also was no Master Sword, instead it was the Picori Sword (same as the "Four Sword").
Clearly, there were different scenario writers between the Zelda games, and continuity errors abound every game (and is the cause of much "timeline" discussion, where the reality is just that there were different writers). - Ashkc88, on 03/14/2009, -1/+3Try Dolphin. Not sure if it'll work or not, if so it'll probably be slow or glitchy.
http://www.dolphin-emu.com/news.php - Philbert, on 03/16/2009, -0/+2I should get into Twilight Princess again. I think I got a few days of game play in then work distracted me for a while and I never got back into it. I did enjoy checking out the 3d models someone managed to rip out of it.
- ObamaDoujinshi, on 03/15/2009, -0/+2Wind Waker is first in my book, just because people don't hype it as much as OOT or TP.
- Ricky138, on 03/15/2009, -1/+2there is a rumor i read that there supposed to announce a new zelda game at e3 this year, and maybe something being shown at GDC (game developers conference) in a little more than a week (although i dont believe in the last one)
i do think they need to make a Zelda game where Link dies at the end, it would be epic, and its not like all the Zelda games are the same Link anyways, other than some being descendants, but hey who says he cant get it on with Zelda before he dies and make some haha....o yeah its Nintendo.. - TheTjalian, on 03/15/2009, -0/+1Yes, but not at full speeds everywhere, and you'll need a really good PC to get that far (3.0Ghz C2Q, 9800GTX (although a GTX 260/280+ would be better), 4GB RAM)
- GUTTS, on 03/15/2009, -0/+1Buried with no comments aye? I'm sorry I tarnished your Wii bubble with thoughts that aren't mainstream.
- timmyrich, on 03/15/2009, -2/+3After OoT it was, in the word of Charles Barkley, "Turrible"
- inactive, on 03/15/2009, -4/+4You loved it because it is one of the best games ever made. The bitchers and whiners are just upset because their mommy took the nipple away. No milk, no fun.
People were making comparisons between it and Okami. I've played and finished okami, not even close. The dungeons are downright pathetic compared to those in twilight princess. - TheSuperunknown, on 03/15/2009, -5/+5Somebody gaming Digg? Say it's not so!
You must be new here. - georgemason01, on 03/15/2009, -3/+3"The tears of light fetch quests were brutal."
They were indeed. Maybe I'm missing out on an otherwise good game, but honestly I stopped playing after the forest temple because I couldn't deal with the second light quest as a wolf. Seemed repetitive, boring and pointless and I just didn't want to deal with it. Other than that, mechanically and graphically the game seemed to be little more than a combination of OOT and Wind Waker. - Erimgard, on 03/16/2009, -0/+0For all those with comments about the first few digs being by new members, I'll clarify.
This was neither me, nor Captain Cornflake, using fake/multiple accounts. The first few commenters are all members of the site/forum at which this article was posted. No "cheating" was meant in getting this article diggs. - hendrixlives64, on 03/14/2009, -11/+10this article genuinely brightened my day. partly because it was interesting as heck, but it also prompted an in-depth, dead serious, half hour long philosophical discussion between my girlfriend and i. about zelda. i love my life.
