- Alegis, on 10/17/2007, -1/+45Screw photorealism, this game looks absolutely gorgeous.
- mcm0818, on 10/17/2007, -2/+28Yeah, when you got the n64, you were all like "OH MY GOD! Nintendo Sixty-FOOOOOOUUUUUR!"
- blurrie, on 10/19/2007, -2/+27i remember getting the n64 the first xmas it was out.
mario 64 was SOOOO much fun.
i hope nintendo can bring back that same magic.
sunshine was pretty lame.
watching the video shows how ambitious and polished this game looks.
i'm excited for a great gamer holiday season!
now if only i could FIND a freaking wii - PunkRockRalph, on 10/19/2007, -5/+30ha. this game is going to kick ass, eat shrooms, kill goombas,
all with an "E" rating. - imikedaman, on 10/17/2007, -1/+19"...to largely pointer-controlled encounters which see Mario being slingshotted at a large spider's weak points for massive damage."
*snicker* - zwilliams, on 10/17/2007, -3/+20Why does everyone hate Sunshine so much? I quite enjoyed it; sure it wasn't the best Mario game, but it kept me entertained. Everyone seems to act as if it was some sort of pure abomination just because it didn't fit their unrealistic expectations.
- MOJIRA, on 05/17/2008, -0/+13Bitch never learns.
- dsendecki, on 10/16/2007, -1/+13Hells ya! The princess is in another castle!
- pheyze, on 10/16/2007, -2/+13Wii's have already been difficult to find, with Galaxy and Brawl coming soon it's only gonna get worse. Galaxy is going to be amazing though.
- christoast, on 09/04/2008, -0/+9Could have done with out stock footage people pretending the play the wii.
- inactive, on 10/17/2007, -0/+8Buying a game just because it generates controversy... no offense, but you're a tool.
- Antialias, on 10/17/2007, -1/+8Brawl doesn't come out until next year.
- sethosayher, on 10/17/2007, -3/+10Why is this game so beautiful!?
- skywake, on 10/16/2007, -1/+8Some of the stuff shown in the video at the bottom looks promising. The 2D-ish Bowser Castle style scenes... actually, the whole thing in general looks beautiful with a hint of nostalgia. Having said that, plastic acting is instant fail.
- STARTSOMETHING, on 10/16/2007, -2/+8Gameplay is how the wii become #1 in the market
- alexkorova, on 10/16/2007, -0/+6I don't know either, I quite enjoyed Sunshine. It wasn't this gigantic evolution of the Mario series, but it was a really good, polished game that had some small flaws. The environments felt really alive and really cool (like that water/island world with the shell houses, totally awesome). I guess the critique comes from that it is a Mario game, and perhaps people where expecting the same big step as from Super Mario World to Super Mario 64 and well, yeah, you didn't get that.
Oh, and Galaxy looks completely amazing. I need it!!! - STARTSOMETHING, on 10/17/2007, -0/+4Well that's it, im getting a pre order
- theragu40, on 10/16/2007, -1/+5You mean she's on another planet.
- theragu40, on 10/16/2007, -0/+4Can we take a step back for a moment to realize how ridiculous that is? The system came out nearly a year ago, and we're still talking in terms of "I heard a store had them in stock a month ago". It's unbelievable. I rarely (if ever) see a Wii in the store, even now.
- imikedaman, on 10/16/2007, -2/+5The game was uninspired and surprisingly unpolished, plus the way they implemented the blue coins in the game made it nearly impossible to get 120 shines without a guide and a lot of tedious scavenger hunts.

- theragu40, on 10/17/2007, -1/+3Also, what a great preview article. Why can't all preview articles be like this? The guys from Gamespot should read this - maybe their previews can stop being irritating play-by-plays of one of their editors fumbling his way through levels and start including actual content.
- Xibby, on 10/20/2007, -0/+2He's got a secret stash of 1UP mushrooms.
- lilianatota, on 10/17/2007, -0/+2I love Mr. Mario.
This is an all age game.
I think i will still enjoying the game when i am 80 years old. - linuxlucas, on 10/17/2007, -0/+1/sarcasm
- Ndiggnation, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1While I like the game, that's the level that has stopped me from ever completing the game..
- dagamer34, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1Craigslist people.
- JMZen, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1I'm one of the few people that actually loved Sunshine. Remember that manta ray level, where every time you attacked their shadow forms they split in two, until the whole upper level was just *covered* with hundreds and hundreds of tiny manta rays? That was some cool stuff.
- Dorepoll, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1It was great bar the end boss in a bathtub.
- DTJunkie07, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1On November 12 I will look just like him.
- capiCrimm, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1honestly, the quality of spam on digg is terrible. They really need to kick it up a notch before I'll install the spyware.
- hadiz, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1If you keep checking the deal sites and places that post the major electronics retailers' ads online they are pretty easy to find. I remember bestbuy.com had them in stock about a month ago.
- R3Dirkulous, on 10/17/2007, -0/+13 months isnt that long....
- NeonFire, on 10/22/2007, -0/+1I was dumb enough to buy Super Paper Mario. I agree, it sucks. >.< Galaxy looks freaking awesome though.
- NeonFire, on 10/22/2007, -0/+1Looks awesome. I have it preordered but something tells me to pay $5 and upgrade to priority shipping so I can have the thing on release or the day after. ugh... soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo awesome looking.
- Frostman3D, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1The game looks awesome. Can't wait.
- NeonFire, on 10/22/2007, -0/+1Owned.
- woohhaa, on 10/19/2007, -0/+1Looks good but lets hope its good enough to make up for the huge embarresement failure that is paper Mario on the Wii. Nintendo should set up a trade in program so people who were dumb enough to buy paper Mario can swap it for Mario Galaxy.
- dethsesh, on 10/17/2007, -0/+1please dont preorders are useless, gamestop just wants you to think it actually does something
- floejoe, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1Don't digg down, I posted the link so I can get around the filters at the company, they block out anything BlueCoat deems unsafe or work related.
DuggMirror lets me circumvent the filters. heheh. - KingGoonie, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1Its a great game... just when compared to the other games in the series its not as good... I for one wished there was different environments then just the beach/water type... But still, great game. 9 out of 10... its just all the others were 10 out of 10.
- THX8612, on 10/16/2007, -1/+1SPAM much?
- Evi1d33d, on 10/17/2007, -2/+2Most first party Nintendo games are rated E anyways.
- titakosivilma, on 10/22/2007, -0/+0i've always been a mario fan :) cant wait to get my hands on this game!
- tlgjames, on 10/20/2007, -1/+1Shouldn't that damn lame plumber be dead yet?
- inactive, on 10/19/2007, -6/+5Hell ya!! Can't wait for this one!
- sych0, on 10/16/2007, -3/+2Sunshine was tooooo friggin hard.
As far as finding a wii, I saw my FIRST WII on a shelf last night. There was only 1 in walmart and it was in a beat up box. Can't believe the first time I see it on a shelf is 11 months after release. Amazing - pixel4e, on 10/17/2007, -4/+3"E" IS for everyone and also makes Mario games taste better.
- Melenor, on 10/20/2007, -3/+2What, you guys haven't seen this? The twinkles on the box art of Super Mario Galaxy highlight those particular letters, providing those who choose to read into it a good laugh.
- twelvedogs, on 10/16/2007, -2/+0If anyone actually installs that they deserve to have their data stole.
