- Snuff99, on 10/10/2007, -0/+36If you have it down to a science like that, go win the damn Lexus and quit yer belly achin'!
- tensaibaka, on 10/10/2007, -0/+13if you're playing doubles, the Mii near the net can block the return avoiding the "impossible return" glitch. Also, if you can manage to smash serve, it makes the "impossible return" even harder to accomplish.
- Zarokima, on 10/10/2007, -0/+13*digs the lameass comment down*
- brizzad2, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11If you get enough exerience points, you can move fast enough to avoid that "glitch" and return the ball. Also, if you hit a power serve, nobody can take advantage of your "glitch". newb
- MastaB, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8or just hit a really really slow serve...that'll keep the return in check...
- davidpower, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7One Year lease? Misleading Title
- walkingdogs, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9I love the strategy that all of you breaking down but the bigger implications of this story is that this is just another way Nintendo will keep the buzz and demand going for the Wii and a major reason I believe the Wii will be this console generation's winner.
- flair1, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7It is amazing how much a free 'pack-in' game has caused so much demand for the console. I am waiting for WiiTennis and WiiGolf to come out as standalone games with more content like more courses, online play, and tournament modes.
- wendelgee2, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Nobody likes you.
- andshewas, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5I'd buy them up.
- deadparts, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Yeah I have 5 other Wii games and I play Wii Sports more than any other. Go figure.
- fpcyber, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I'd ask could we sell it, but turns out this is only a 1 year less.
- mlvassallo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Can I play while sitting on my ass... Cause I'm ace in that position.
- wendelgee2, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5I went to the first Wii Tennis tournament, and I can assure you that nobody did that...not that they didn't try, but you are super nervous (I know I know, but all those hot girls are watching you!) and unless you're a real athlete, it's impossible to not let the adrenaline ruin that very precise timing.
- Anthracene, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3That is more of an atrocity than anything in this article.
- Nicksname1, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Yeah thats what I said thats *****!
- IdelosIX, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2As far as WiiGolf goes, I'd recommend checking out Tiger Woods PGA Tour. It's a lot of fun if you enjoyed the golf game in Wii Sports
- sofaKing812, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I want a full Tennis game for the Wii so bad. Something like Tiger Wood's golf.
- Anthracene, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2I get to play an awesome game by Nintendo at the US Open to have a chance to win a Lexus IS F for charity purposes.
- DarkAngel132, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2If you wait for the ball to drop far enough after the toss on the serve you can literally serve underhanded to the other side. This makes it impossible to return a winner. Anyone who has played long enough should have figured this trick out already.
I'd like to see how ESPN's commentary handles underhand serving. - glxyjones, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Anyone notice Matt Lauer call it the Sony Wii on the morning show yesterday before he played against Andy Roddick?
- DeathnLife, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Duuuuuuuuuuuude, I own at Wii tennis, I got 2232 skill points.
Proof?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tj_D2Aa5njc - brotherfranciz, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2It's not a glitch, it's a feature!
- RWVolkl158, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1ESPN's commentary can't even handle real tennis... Seriously, Patrick McEnroe should NEVER be allowed to commentate anything.
- naio, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1So ***** what?
- albotropolis, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0You can't return the power serve in an unreturnable manner, and there is a very slow, almost underhand serve that isn't returnable in this manner either.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2seriously, what do you drive? A Chevy? Or worse yet, a Ford?
- UtopiaInTheSky, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1So THIS is why people buy a Wii...
- PAPAsoMEAN, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1it amazes me that there's no full tennis game for the wii, or ping pong. wtf are these devs thinking? Let's make more mini games!
- bloodredxxx, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Wiinning anything just by simply playing a game would be great anytime.
Wii news : http://webfindr.com/cat/nintendo-wii/ - devjunkie, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0I don't want a Lexus simply because of their annoying radio commercials.
I tend to hate products with crappy or annoying ads.
Plus you don't get to keep the Lexus, so you aren't really gaining anything. - cawpin, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1...than what? You can't get much less than a Toyota.
- scabbers, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1It's probably another "toy yoda" scam! Anyway, entering a wii competition is hazardous to the health.
- Anthracene, on 10/10/2007, -3/+2If you have a life and have not perfected the game uh.... it can still be fun. Please, go outside.
- mv10, on 10/10/2007, -6/+5Wii Tennis is "cheesable" if you play enough. After serves, if you hit the ball at a certain time, you pull it enough to the point where 99 out of 100 times you cant return it back. That must be fun... Serve, Perfect pull, 15-0, etc etc etc.
People who play alot (like the finalists) will continue to do this over and voer and over. - bunk, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1you all are crazy, I'll get any shot back at wii tennis
- roffelmeh, on 10/10/2007, -4/+2IS F = ugly
- 0two, on 10/10/2007, -18/+4What's the point of competitive Wii Sports Tennis? There is a well known (at least among my friends) "glitch" that allows you to make any serve return impossible to return. If you get the right timing, they simply can't return it back. It would basically come down to the coin toss for first serve, whoever serves first loses, guaranteed.
- Piedramente, on 10/10/2007, -15/+0Play Wii tennis, enjoy lifetime of being labeled of lame
- Vicujozobenaxod, on 10/10/2007, -37/+0So you have to play a lameass game by a lameass company by going to a lameass event for another lameass game and you have a chance to win a lameass car by another lameass company that really just dresses up cars from an originally lameass company?
