Nintendo Wii sells over 25 million consoles in < 1.5 years!

vgchartz.com — It's official. The Nintendo Wii sold it's 25th million console last week. With 359,984 consoles sold just last week in the Americas, the Wii pulls even further ahead of the competition.

    Quite an impressive number. If you change the graph and compare it to the PS2, the Wii is doing much much better, as well. Do you think the Wii can reach 150 million by the end of the generation?

    WOW!! 400K sold the same week GTA4 came out for the other systems...and still outsold both of them COMBINED!! /fanboy rant.

    Amazing sales for Nintendo and in the week GTA IV came out as well. Who was it who said GTA would kill Wii?!

    The best part is Nintendo has better games coming as Wii, WiiWare, and VC games.
