- Calculon, on 10/11/2007, -0/+14D'oh.. thought it said Blast CORPS. for the Wii.. man that was a cool game! Bring it back!
- Sirocco, on 10/11/2007, -1/+14Mmm... Tumuki Fighters with a new name. I can think of about a thousand indie games that need publishing before this, but more power to Majesco if they can score a few bucks for it.
- Smuikas, on 10/11/2007, -2/+10For all of you idiots who keep complaining about the graphics on this game; this is simply a port of a VERY deep sidescrolling shooter. It's fairly difficult, and a huge amount of fun.The screenshot doesn't do it justice. Not only do you get points when you 'pick up' enemies - you get more points based on how efficient their orientation is!

Here's a video of the first level: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPmaKKbKFk8
If you can't see how this would be awesome with the Wiimote, well, you have no imagination whatsoever. - Klarth, on 10/11/2007, -2/+10So bright and colourful = ***** kiddy looking?
Better hurry back to your dank corner of chainsaws and death. - Durinthal, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8Play it on the PC for free: http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~cs8k-cyu/windows/tf_e.html
And there's even Linux and Mac ports:

http://shinh.skr.jp/osxbin/ - Chicken2nite, on 10/11/2007, -2/+9Hopefully there will be some sort of set-up where you can download levels created by others for your own enjoyment. That would be really cool if they could pull it off...
- timpkmn89, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7Have you ever even played Tumuki Fighters? The graphics are perfect for it.
- alexkorova, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Could be cool if the improvements are worth it. I am all for new co-op games, I've missed those since, well, forever.
- steponsnyder, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5This better not cost $50...
Here's to hoping it will be a WiiWare product. - Tainek, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5I'd like to point out this is the same company that made nanostray for the DS, a fine game indeed
- Optimaximal, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Just cos Majesco published it, you shouldn't give them credit for the game. That was all Double-Fine's work.
- Tainek, on 10/11/2007, -3/+7Not all of us are compensating for somthing, some of us want to play *Fun* games
- DenTPuzz, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5Because everyone knows that good graphics=good game, right?
- ptsd, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3this is awesome. but i wish they had chose his Torus Trooper
download it here - http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~cs8k-cyu/windows/tt_e.html - ShorXrorE, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2yea definitely agreed, they have got to start using the internet more or else they're gonna see a huge dip in sales because...well...wii will suck with no internet capabilities
- NiGHTSChao, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3What the hell?
I already have this on my PC, yet again another port/old title goes to the Wii
funny - gotamd, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2That could be really interesting as long as the gameplay is good. I always like to see games that take a step back from the graphics-centric madness that seems to grip the gaming industry and focus on the gameplay. If I can't easily figure out how to interact with a game it's just not worth my time no matter how pretty it looks. That said, I don't yet know if the gameplay of this game is good or not.
- Cyber_Akuma, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Its NEWS about a GAME, in the GAMING section of Digg's NEWS site. I fail to see the problem. How is it NOT a story?
- Cyber_Akuma, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Please, as long as the game isnt reated for ages 2 to 6 (there is such a rating instead of the 6 and up) and its fun I will play it. I play everything from ultra-violent mature rates games liek Gears of War to "kiddie" but fun rated E games like Graffiti Kingdom.
- ThankTheCheese, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1all I can say is the gameplay better be awesome because those graphics suck major balls.
- BeanBunny, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1What? I think the graphics look really cool. Can't wait to try it.
- surasshu, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1That's what I thought too! Now I'm super disappointed already. :(
Still, more shmups is always a good thing. Hurray! - PKO17, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Wow, this is just proves that Nintendo really does have no significant third party support. If a Nintendo fan is excited about something other than a Nintendo-developed game, that means it is either a remake, rehash, spin-off, or weak imitation of something else.
- dvsbastard, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Don't worry, I am sure Nintendo are nice enough to let you buy it again (soon enough)...
- AndrewDB, on 01/10/2008, -0/+1Holy crap. I just got done playing around with the PC version and damn is it intense.
- Cyber_Akuma, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Tumuki Fighters is by far my favorite game out of all the ones he made, but damn I just cannot choose a #2, nearly all of them are pretty good.
- Cyber_Akuma, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Wow, so i'm not the only one who thought of Tumuki Fighters when I heard of this, and it was the first post, I didnt think it was that popular. Though a Wii online multiplayer port/remake of Tumuki Fighters would kick ass.
- Rabid_Llama, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Those screenshots are almost certainly from Tumiki Fighters, as someone linked above. It's a game from a few years back, and it runs at 640x480 or something similar. It looks like this game will be a port/remake of that one, but I really doubt the screenshots shown are from the new version of it, unless they put zero work into the port.
- Cyber_Akuma, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I really feel sorry for the guy that made Psychonauts. He brought us incredible games back in the day like Monkey Island, and now the point-and-click genra is more or less dead but he still manages to give us an incredible plarformer...... and nobody bought it. Sigh.
- Cyber_Akuma, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I'm conflicted.
On one hand, i'm annoyed that the majority of great and original games like Blast Corps, Mischief Makers, Psychonauts, etc never get a sequel. On the other hand, we could get it sequeled to hell which eventually delutes the game and makes nobody care anymore. - zipzipzipz, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1this games looks stupid, red steel is and will be the best shooter game
- lemcoe9, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1I am getting it. No Question
- chrisinsocalif, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1The game looks cheesy, but so did many of the games I played when i was a kid but still played those cheesy games for hours. So i feel this may have some potential. Wii has proven good game play doesn't need super hardware to be fun.
- edesignweb, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1NO ONE IS GOING TO SAY THAT THIS LOOKS LIKE *****, HUH?
- Dafreakzo, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1"Geometry Wars is a minigame created by Bizarre Creations as part of Project Gotham Racing 2 for the Xbox, accessible through the in-game garage. An updated version of the game, Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved, is available for download on the Xbox 360 via Xbox Live Arcade for 400 Image:Microsoftpoint.gif ($5 USD), and can also be played in demo form in Project Gotham Racing 3."
*Yawns* - rwallen, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2Psychonauts from Majesco is a fantastic game that I revisit every few months. I'll try just about anything they come out with.
- chrismccorkle, on 10/11/2007, -2/+0*yawn*
- majortom1981, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1I guess you guys have never played Kingdom Hearts. This looks like they made the gummy ships (i think thats what its called) parts of the game a full game. I loved that section of the game so I will try this.
- DarKnight90, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1I'm sure your refering to Gears of War? Which I've had more fun with then my whole Wii console. Digg me down fanboys
- dvsbastard, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1You actually played that part of the game?! It was abysmal... It was bad enough that you had to fly from area to area, but you actually spent time modifying your ship too?!
P.S. Aside from that Kingdom Hearts was brilliant! - s1mph0ny, on 10/11/2007, -4/+2Properly labeled as spam.
- EnderMB, on 10/11/2007, -9/+5"While I'm inclined to argue that the last thing the Wii needs is a game that look like a pre-schooler's construction paper project gone awry..."
They lost me after that. Seriously Nintendo! The Gamecube was supposed to be Nintendo's manly console, and we still ended up with a load of ***** kidddy (yes, I said it) looking games. Let's get some real good games made before the people are lost again. - attractivetb, on 10/11/2007, -9/+1How is this a story?
- healthyvideo, on 10/11/2007, -9/+1miraculous healing with clay
just testing the link - munee23, on 10/11/2007, -9/+0Surprising graphics. **YAWN** But good concept, nonetheless.
- dolson, on 10/11/2007, -15/+3Hopefully there will be some sort of set-up where you can download decent graphics created by others for your own enjoyment. That would be really cool if they could pull off a game on the Wii that isn't possible on the PS2, GameCube, Saturn, or Dreamcast...
- dentarthurdent1, on 10/11/2007, -14/+1or Atari 2600, by the looks of that game. ugh, looks so horrible can't imagine why anyone would play it. oh, just because it on the Wii, it's F-U-N!
