- rocknog, on 10/30/2009, -3/+19What ***** moron would want to play this game online? Look, I'm sorry you're ***** pathetic and have no IRL friends, but this game wouldn't be any fun online anyway.
- inactive, on 10/29/2009, -1/+16Looks hot. DO WANT!
- dustinmacdonald, on 10/30/2009, -1/+12Online is overrated. The real crime these days is new games coming out with online but no local multiplayer.
- insidius, on 10/30/2009, -1/+8Someone seems a little butthurt.
How is this not an improvement? Its a "3D" update to a classic side scrolling game from our childhood that looks good and from the article plays good. I fail to see previous versions of this game on the wii with slight modifications but please feel free to point these out to me.
Oh and gtfo with your gtfo. This is a message board not counter-strike. - LBUCHA, on 10/29/2009, -3/+9this looks AWESOME!!! i am so over Mario Kart - disappointment
- MassoukenBomb, on 10/29/2009, -1/+6I'm gonna play the **** out of this game!
- DonWeezy, on 10/30/2009, -0/+4woa woa woa, Mario kart is awesome, especially while drinking. You cant run around collecting coins hammered and have as much fun as driving backwards in a race with star power on.
- BowieX, on 10/30/2009, -1/+5What the hell are you going on about?
1) Mario Kart Wii is one of only SEVEN games I've bought over the past 3 years, PERIOD:
Mario Party 8
Super Paper Mario
Super Mario Galaxy
Mario Kart Wii
Grand Slam Tennis
Wii Sports Resort
New Super Mario Bros. Wii (pre-ordered)
2) I used to play Mario Kart Wii for about 5 hours a day, over the period of about 8 months, no exaggeration. That's well over 1000 hours. I've completed Mario Galaxy 3 times.
Don't talk to me about having a 5-second attention span or a dispensable budget. But even *I* am kind of over Mario Kart Wii. It's not the Wii's fault. It's the fact that I eventually got to a 9999 rating on Wifi and lost interest. - BowieX, on 10/30/2009, -2/+6Dear Innovation Police,
Please cease and desist.
Sincerely,
Entertainment Police - Seren2399, on 10/30/2009, -0/+4It'sa me, Mario!
- Foda, on 10/30/2009, -0/+4It uses the D-Pad, with the wiimote turned sideways. If you want to get a bit of a boost on your jump, you lift the wiimote up.
- bcassner, on 10/30/2009, -1/+4If it has Mario in it, the game is always going to be good.
- Demener, on 10/29/2009, -1/+4I've been searching desperately for a good co-op game to play split screen lately (other than fps), and other than Castle Crashers and Dynasty Warriors haven't seen much. Hopefully this will fill that void for a bit.
- Frozenfuryblade, on 10/30/2009, -1/+4Does this mean the Wii is back in the trendy topics again? I've missed positive Wii articles constantly flooding the front page :[
- pezoamo, on 10/30/2009, -0/+2Makes me want to buy a wii
- mhummel, on 10/30/2009, -0/+2If it's co-op play with backstabbing and double crossing you want, you can't beat the original Gauntlet, a game responsible for ending more friendships than Diplomacy:
"Warrier needs food badly!"
"Archer shot some food!" - BowieX, on 10/30/2009, -2/+4LBUCHA is over a game that was released 1½ years ago. News at 11.
- ator1, on 10/30/2009, -0/+2For the most part, but do you remember that CD-i Mario game?
- V3n0M, on 10/30/2009, -0/+2Excellent!! NOW it's a must have! thanks!
- boardthis, on 10/30/2009, -0/+2whiners will whine.
- rocknog, on 10/30/2009, -3/+4Some of us don't have ***** 5-second attention spans that require us to drop down $60 for a new game every ***** week. Or is it just that the other systems suck that ***** badly that none of their games have any replayability?
- Greengoo, on 10/30/2009, -0/+1I'm gonna bend this game over my dresser and play it from behind...
- SpamHat, on 10/30/2009, -0/+1Preordered from Amazon a month ago.
Gonna be AWESOME. - V3n0M, on 10/30/2009, -0/+1Anyone know about the controls? Do we have to point the remote at the screen or use the good ol' fashion D-Pad?
- BowieX, on 10/31/2009, -0/+1I have. I've played plenty of other games, on PS3 at my friends' houses, on the webz, etc, etc.
I just love the platforming gameplay style of -- and the music -- in Mario.

You'll see why I'm such a huge Mario fan! - Puppytwo, on 10/31/2009, -0/+1Dare to venture past the mario franchise?
- bcassner, on 10/30/2009, -0/+1I hadn't heard of that one. I looked it up and ugh...if the graphics are any indicator of what the game plays. It is a true train wreck it seems.
- MaxxusFlamus, on 10/30/2009, -1/+2you clearly didn't read the article then.
- SchmuckofNI, on 10/30/2009, -0/+1I can't wait for this thing to come out, it looks like a lot of fun. =)
- GrammerPants, on 10/30/2009, -1/+1It's Nintendo's thing now, we all have to deal with it.
- Brandingapps, on 11/01/2009, -0/+0This is the best price I could find on the web
http://bestpriceonnintendowii.com/new-super-mario- ... - smithdag, on 10/30/2009, -1/+0And then I'm gonna ***** this game!! Yea!! That's Right! I said it!
- doshindude, on 10/30/2009, -4/+1As excited as I am getting for this game, I am getting some warning signs from early reviews. From what I've read, the single player campaign kinda sucks and is easy....and the multiplayer is what makes it hard because your biggest threat is your teammates...(That doesn't sound like good design to me)
Sounds like you have to have people playing with you for this game to be fun :/ Wish the single player had more to offer. - jrm125, on 10/30/2009, -5/+2This might be the only Wii game I actually want.
- boardthis, on 10/30/2009, -5/+2...and u thought mario kart made u cuss like a drunken hillbilly
- Ne007, on 10/30/2009, -6/+2looks like a good game, i just don't like the wiimotes....
- tootim, on 10/29/2009, -8/+1Casual gaming anyone? You don't need very strong wrists.
- milwaukeesbeast, on 10/29/2009, -11/+0No online multiplayer at all. Thank you Nintendo for keeping up with current game design of 2009.
- navidb, on 10/29/2009, -14/+2new is old, old is awesome? yeah for developers who dont have to improve ***** to make sure they get the habitual consumers who buy a game regardless of the obvious lack of innovation/development nintendo and its wii has produced in the past 2 years. wii had its moment, now gtfo
