- opnickc, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6Hurray! Wii Music is still in the works!
Seriously, I'm way more excited about that than Wii Fit. - imikedaman, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Is that what passes for "opening up" these days? I could have sworn Galaxy being inspired by the Mario 128 demo was common knowledge.
- Bossman1086, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4Thanks for the full link. Amazing read. Second to last question asked was the best, imo. Miyamoto has it right again.
- spykez, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5Super Mario galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Super Smash Brothers Brawl.
All out before this year is over, the 3 most highly anticipated games for the Wii since it's release. Patience. - pdiddle, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4Don't mind him, he seems to troll every nintendo article for some reason. Get a life please.
- Renton, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3I think Wii fit is targeting a different demographic http://advancedmn.com/images/content/misc/OprahBalanceBoard.jpg
- worbd, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Well, the graphics technology may not get a leap like that, but the Wiimote makes a leap in how you control games, right?
- Fraff5, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Kill me and rape my family.
- Antialias, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1By my count, less than 20% of the Wii games out now contain any mini games. Of those, many are full games which have some mini games thrown in as added features. While there are more "mini game" bundles for the Wii than other systems, they certainly aren't the majority or even a large portion of the games.
- NecroSexy, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3Oh, I get it, you want not only to play the game but stick it straight up your ass. Gotcha.
- luke16, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Here is what miyamoto had to say http://youtube.com/watch?v=TdUQwkpop2M
- trusttimothy, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1here is the digg-link to the wired-interview:
http://digg.com/nintendo_wii/E3_Interview_Nintendo_s_Shigeru_Miyamoto - donniedark0, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Bit off topic but, I remember the first time I played Mario 64 and it was like nothing I had ever experienced before. It's a bit sad really as there will probably never be the kind of jump between consoles as there was from the SNES/Megadrive era to the next gen of console after that. It was an extreme jump of games you would actually feel immersed in as we went from 2D games to 3D. If this new mario game made me feel that amazed, I would initially be very suprised but would then buy a wii!!
- GolfDude, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1no b/c peach is always in a god damn different castle with bowser!
- mywhitenoise, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Yeah, like all those Disney games!
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0will Mario ever find peace?
- imikedaman, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1Haha, I can't help but laugh at how Nintendo was bitching about how all anyone ever does is sequels these days.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1uh... what?
@ Fraff5 - Sure just tell me when and whar? - humanerror, on 04/03/2008, -4/+1gah, why did i give away wiiware.net
- odinfire, on 10/11/2007, -7/+4yada yada yada... same old same old... guess we can expect two more years of mario party style mini games on the Wii... they shouldnt call it their "third party developer support teams"... they should call it their "third party mini game support teams"...
- mywhitenoise, on 10/11/2007, -5/+1haha, what "gamer" wouldn't be more excited for Wii Music over Wii Fit? Fit's a joke.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -6/+1Buried as lame, as all mario/SSB/nintendo stories should be.
lame
Lame
LAME
L A M E !! - ByronT, on 10/11/2007, -7/+1I'd open up on Miyamoto's Super Mario Galaxy any day.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -10/+1So when is the wii going to actually get games worth buying and keeping for the long-term? Probably not for several years
Does anyone else think Miyamoto looks like a ***** psycho...? - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -10/+1Um no, none of those games should even last a month
I'm wondering about something worth BUYING, not just "playing"
and @ pdiddle - ***** you ^_____^
