- robwhite1979, on 10/12/2009, -1/+37I can't wait to get my hands on this one. I love me some 2D Mario.
- CaviMike, on 10/12/2009, -0/+25I used to think it was so funny when my cousin would move the remote every time she jumped. Looks like she gets the last laugh.
- heliumflash, on 10/12/2009, -2/+24If New Super Mario Bros on the DS is any indication, the Wii version will be with us for a long time.
- heliumflash, on 10/12/2009, -3/+22A video game term that means it will sell well over a long period of time and not just after it's launch month. For example, New Super Mario Bros or Mario Kart Wii have amazingly long legs since they still sell well despite being released years ago.
- norle, on 10/12/2009, -0/+17Mario with boobs? Pass.
- Xaevier, on 10/12/2009, -4/+20I was hoping it would have boobs =(
- doshindude, on 10/12/2009, -5/+18.............have legs?
- rocknog, on 10/12/2009, -0/+8I realize you're just being a pathetic troll, but if I recall, RE:4 had some boob-jiggle physics.
- BradOFarrell, on 10/13/2009, -0/+8It always tickles me when gamers try to use their bad judgement to disparage companies on the internet. You lose money on your investment when you sell a console, and hardly get any back. Are you really in such dire straights that you need to start selling your expensive appliances for ~half their store price? Why would waste money like that. Why would you get rid of an expensive device with a low resale value just to prove a point? "Too late" for what? How is owning an unused video game system an issue for anyone?
- Carrot1991, on 10/12/2009, -0/+7I just want Nintendo to hurry up and show the new Zelda trailer.....
- Chooxo, on 10/12/2009, -2/+7And know how to use 'em.
- tragedyfish, on 10/13/2009, -0/+4Thanks for posting that summary of your other post EastSun. I didn't feel like reading the first one.
- AwesomeDeluxe, on 10/13/2009, -0/+3"The multiplayer Wii remake of the DS's second best selling game..."
It's not a remake. It's just using the same engine.
I liked NSMB DS, but I was disappointed that after this many years they still didn't have I title I felt like could measure up to SMW or SMB3. But this one looks solid and they've apparently ramped up the difficulty and level design. Plus the multiplayer will be awesome. Can't wait to see how it turns out. - Elranzer, on 10/13/2009, -0/+3I'm sure Nintendo is going to go bankrupt because of you.
- Langford, on 10/12/2009, -1/+4Mario is far too athletic to develop those.
- chaosblade77, on 10/13/2009, -0/+2To be fair, you have to keep a few things in mind:
- It's SD, and like most Wii games it looks far better in motion. Galaxy screenshots look jaggy as hell, but it looks really good in motion.
- Those screenshots are horribly compressed and aren't doing the game any favors at all.
- If there is any truth to the statement that the game is too frantic to work with online multiplayer, then that probably means they also don't have the hardware capacity to use any sort of AA to reduce jaggies (not surprising though given the Wii's awful frame buffer). - msarge, on 10/13/2009, -1/+3I would stick with upgrading your PC. Not enough mindblowing content to bother with a Wii. I should know I got one at launch.
- SketchaMPM, on 10/13/2009, -0/+2If you want a good Mario RPG on the DS, play the new game 'Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story'. It's brilliant and plays a lot like Paper Mario. If you don't believe me, check MetaCritic.
- robwhite1979, on 10/12/2009, -0/+1I want a Paper Mario for DS too.... As for new super mario bros wii being motionplus compatible, I doubt it since it's probably using a "classic" control scheme with a couple of gestures thrown in for special stuff..
- mightycbu, on 10/12/2009, -1/+2ZZ-top?

Wrong console - Elranzer, on 10/13/2009, -0/+1I'm just upset that one of the "Toads" is not the main Toad (red spots, blue suit). It's two weird Toads, one blue and one yellow.
I hope it's because you have to rescue "real" Toad from the castles, but he wasn't in the original DS version of New Super Mario Bros. - Chooxo, on 10/12/2009, -1/+2To "have legs":
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCi5sHRE2mY&fea ... - Elranzer, on 10/13/2009, -0/+1Wii Motion Plus? It probably won't use motion control at all.
More likely you will hold the Wiimote sideways, like a NES controller, kinda like how Super Paper Mario was controlled. - h0msar, on 10/13/2009, -0/+1Do we have any other options? It's not like a house where you buy it, make it really nice, and sell it for more than you paid for. Really, the only way to sell it for more is if you keep it in good condition for at least 10 years and sell it for "nostalgia" and most gamers just aren't patient enough for that delayed gratification.
And I might have an issue with owning a used console because the previous owner may have really messed it up. - Nishnabotna, on 10/13/2009, -0/+1Been looking, but in this area I'm lucky to have a job that affords me one.
- lonecow12, on 10/14/2009, -0/+1Why is this surprising news to anyone?
- ZackRI, on 10/13/2009, -1/+2I just can't wait for New Super Mario Bros 3.
- Nishnabotna, on 10/13/2009, -0/+1No coverage here.
- Elranzer, on 10/13/2009, -0/+1I always knew PS3/360 fanboys were only in it for the ePenis factor. weister42 just proved it.
- BrBybee, on 10/12/2009, -2/+2You should go find you a new job if you cant afford both.
- EastSun, on 10/12/2009, -2/+2I'm still waiting for Paper Mario for the DS. :P
But I would probably get this.
Is it Wii MotionPlus Compatible? - Notyavgkat, on 10/12/2009, -3/+3i'm with robwhite....i love me some 2d Mario!!!
- BrBybee, on 10/12/2009, -1/+1For a current day 2d they could have done better on the looks...from the screen shots i could see all kinds of jagged edges and what not.
- Majora26, on 10/13/2009, -1/+1save your money for next years iteration of the iPhone
- jeffshaught, on 10/12/2009, -1/+1guh???
- Nishnabotna, on 10/12/2009, -2/+2So, I could start upgrading my gaming PC or I could buy a Wii.
Sigh. - rand21althor, on 10/12/2009, -2/+2Cannot wait for this game!
- saucercrab, on 10/12/2009, -3/+1Does that mean it will kick ass?
bwahahahahaha *cough* - EastSun, on 10/12/2009, -2/+0Ehem....DoaX2 much?
- Chanz, on 10/12/2009, -3/+0Dug because you are an idiot.
- weister42, on 10/12/2009, -12/+8Breast motion involves very complex 3D modeling and math calculations so my guess is the Wii is too limp to erect such a monumental thrust of technological overflow.
- EastSun, on 10/12/2009, -5/+0Thought he meant Jiggle Physics in general.
As for the wii, no one really needs these physics, because not many people buy Wiis except for kds 12 and under and Families. And we all know how horny those 10 year old kids are. - Gazow, on 10/12/2009, -7/+2is no one else bugged by the fact that luigi isnt riding a red yoshi? damn you graphic design ocd
- EastSun, on 10/12/2009, -5/+0Well I thought he meant Boob Jiggle Physics in general.
I know what Console it is.
Of course DoaX 2 is for the DreamCast.
But 75% of the people who buy Wiis are 12 and under anyway, so most games don't need them?
Because we all know how horny 10 year old kids are. - palehorse864, on 10/12/2009, -8/+1(Is prepared to get buried for a very old reference) :)
- Arkveld, on 10/12/2009, -10/+1I like my video games without legs, thank you very much, otherwise how would I play them?
- wildkeith, on 10/12/2009, -12/+1Too bad I sold my Wii. Too little too late.
- palehorse864, on 10/12/2009, -15/+1That's good, because Super Mario Bros. Ronald Reagan edition didn't sell well.
