marvel muppet babies! - Eupatorus, on 10/26/2009, -0/+4"the grown-up action of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2"
Is this a joke? - inactive, on 10/26/2009, -1/+4Is this a hint of more to come with Disney buying Marvel?
- allisonaxe, on 10/26/2009, -0/+2no. this toy line has existed for a couple of years, long before the Disney purchase. If you want to blame anyone, you can probably point the finger at someone at Hasbro who thought tiny figurines of Marvel characters for the kids would be a cute idea.
Admittedly, I've bought a couple of them, notably i have a little mini Deadpool on my desk, alongside a tiny version of the Punisher that is wearing Captain America's cowl. they're cute, but really are meant for toddlers. they're about as detailed as the smurf figurines I had when I was a kid. - RobotBuddha, on 10/26/2009, -0/+2After doing an image search for their version of deadpool, I'm tempted to do the same. Cute tiny deadpool waving around giant swords is awesome.
- ibleeddukeblue, on 10/26/2009, -0/+2How did this game get on the front page?
- EvanGH, on 10/26/2009, -0/+2Another fine example of an outlet forcing one of their stories onto Digg. Go away.
- Charlotte_Web, on 10/26/2009, -0/+2Well, the fact that they are basing this on preschool toys makes it pretty obvious how awful this is going to be.
- Kinsbane, on 10/26/2009, -0/+2Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 has action? It was pretty boring.
- Tddupre, on 10/26/2009, -1/+3You posted this on the wrong social news site, reddit is that way ------------------------->
- falconear, on 10/26/2009, -0/+1In the new "kiddy" versions of Marvel comics, Wolverine and Hulk are both upstanding citizens and members of the Avengers. Don't ask me why...
- sejg, on 10/26/2009, -0/+1Did Disney buy Marvel buy Digg to get this on the front page?
- mrdeadhead, on 10/26/2009, -0/+1yes it is actually, congratulations, your keen detective skills have won you a free copy of your choice of Larry the Cable Guy movies.
- agentsrecord, on 10/26/2009, -0/+1I bought this for a kindergarten student and a 1st grader. I'm drinking the Kool-Aid, THQ.
But why would the average Digger give a *****? - thundacatblue, on 10/26/2009, -0/+1How this show is getting so much push while The Spectacular Spider Man fights for another season is beyond me.
- allisonaxe, on 10/26/2009, -1/+2are you over the age of ten? then this game really isn't for you.
- allisonaxe, on 10/27/2009, -0/+1it is awesome. just be aware: the figure is posed in a bit of an action pose, with the heel of one of Deadpool's feet coming up off the ground, and it has a really hard time standing up, especially if your desk moves when you bump it. a bit of fun-tak on the feet helps.
- thundacatblue, on 10/26/2009, -1/+1Yes because Silver Surfer was a surfer dude /s
I would tell you to try watching the show so you could see how bad it is, but far be it from me to waste a perfectly good half hour of someone's life... - Charlotte_Web, on 10/26/2009, -2/+1FTA:
"Marvel Super Hero Squad is a kiddy game, but the plot and the way missions are split up is very reminiscent of the way multi-character team-up events were once traditionally treated by Marvel Comics."
Reading through the episode list on Wikipedia this morning, it immediately reminded me of Marvel's Silver Age story lines. - shamanking911, on 10/26/2009, -3/+2Megaman Powered Up for super heroes? and why is this on the front page...
- McMattilus, on 10/26/2009, -2/+1Call me weird, but I seriously think that Wolverine and Hulk don't belong here.
- MethodOne, on 10/26/2009, -4/+3I would rather play Capcom's arcade fighting game Marvel Super Heroes than this crap.
- inactive, on 10/26/2009, -3/+1Some screenshots in the review would have been nice.
- maracle2, on 10/26/2009, -4/+1game digg much?
