- CressCrowbits, on 09/15/2009, -2/+23I'm making a comment that is contributing as much to the discussion as the posts above me.
- damack, on 09/15/2009, -0/+9The Mario and Lugi RPG's have always been fantastic sort of like a hybrid game part story telling(with some hilarious dialogue and moments) and part button mashing fest.
The story in these games is always quite silly. This one is set inside Bowsers body so yes.. silly is the rule. The story is memorable though because it throws up a lot of funny situations and is gut busting at times.
The action on the other hand is in the combat. By timing button clicks correctly you can avoid damage or do more damage. Levelling up system is quite simple as well.
It's just a little bit of fun given an RPG slant and they do it really well. It's practically as addictive as most Mario games but with story telling and levelling. Highly, highly recommended whether your a seasoned RPG fan with framed copies of Baldurs Gate 2 and Chrono Trigger on your shelf or a relative new comer to RPG games. - zmuda11, on 09/15/2009, -2/+8I guess Bowser's pipes will be cleeeeaan
- cdnbmatt, on 09/15/2009, -0/+4I would imagine any game requiring the touch screen wouldn't work. Or is there something I have missed?
- AwesomeDeluxe, on 09/15/2009, -2/+5Oh, me too.
- kinseyincanada, on 09/15/2009, -0/+3go play scribblenauts.
- Metasquares, on 09/15/2009, -0/+3They tried that before... it didn't work too well...
- Andrwmorph, on 09/15/2009, -0/+3I love their little racist Italian voices!
- insanekoz, on 09/15/2009, -2/+5What ***** comments.
- Elranzer, on 09/15/2009, -0/+2The PSP can emulate the DS? It may finally get some good games on it.
- Metasquares, on 09/15/2009, -0/+2Mushrooms: is there anything they can't do?
- inactive, on 09/15/2009, -0/+1How are their voices racist?
- Elranzer, on 09/15/2009, -0/+1It was an awesome movie. Don't kid yourself.
I rue the day that it's available on Blu-Ray. - illlookforit, on 09/15/2009, -0/+1Because Andrwmorph doesn't know the difference between "stereotypical" and "racist".
- unlimitedmp, on 09/15/2009, -1/+1Solid series for a great handheld and they've finally created a way that takes longer to crack for all the downloaders.
- ThumperSoup, on 09/15/2009, -0/+0"Series staple bad guy Fawful has tricked Bowser into eating a particular strain of mushroom that causes him to inhale the court of the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach included."
That's really creepy. Also, will Dennis Quaid and Martin Short be along for the ride? - uberduger, on 09/15/2009, -3/+2Is it too late for me to join in on the fun?!
Derp. - onederboy, on 09/15/2009, -2/+1I agree. Initially Paper Mario really piqued my interest due to the innovation brought to the RPG world, but after a while I found it dull and never finished it. Luckily I picked up Partners in Time for my DS when it came out, and it reminded me of how great these games are. The dialog may be long-winded and cheesy at times, but if you can look past that, everything else makes up for it. I still kinda wish I finished Paper Mario, however the game and GameCube weren't mine (played a few years back in college, w/ my roommates equipment) and don't have a burning desire to unnecessarily spend money I don't have. Especially considering that I plan on buying this game.
- Andrwmorph, on 09/15/2009, -3/+1I might have to dust off my ol' launch DS! Go go gray brick!
Or I can wait and see if the DS emulator for the PSP improves to a playable level!

- hasnainhyder1, on 09/15/2009, -10/+6Mario was a great game and will always remain Great for the generations to come !!!
- Viegen, on 09/15/2009, -8/+3Mario is sweet game for every generation.
- CK20XX, on 09/15/2009, -7/+2Is it crazy for me to want to see the stories covered in this trilogy released as movies?
I just wish I knew who could do them justice. Perhaps keeping Mario and Luigi with limited speech like in the games could be the key to such success. Heck, I can even picture them waggling their lip fuzz like Charlie Chaplin.
