- MattnJax, on 10/14/2007, -5/+69I can't wait. I don't know about you guys, but I place Super Mario Kart and Mario Kart 64 as two of my favorite all-time games.
- inhaler, on 10/29/2007, -2/+33My buddy failed out of the University of Toledo in the early 90's because of Mario Kart. A direct quote:
"Dropping acid and playing Mario Kart. Rainbow road baby!" - nakile, on 10/11/2007, -0/+26Why the crap is the picture in the article Mario Kart Arcade GP?
- dvsbastard, on 10/11/2007, -3/+29I bet bikes were added to the game solely as it is an obvious application of the motion controls (leaning and such fits perfectly)... Other than that I can't see how bikes would have ever fit into a Mario Kart game...
- youRrich, on 10/12/2007, -0/+23**Bob-omb
- Steelfox, on 10/14/2007, -3/+22Then why would you have a Wii in the first place?
- AuburnTigers, on 10/12/2007, -3/+22Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy, Mario and Sonic, Metroid...ahhh, it's a great time to be a Wii owner
- JoeCool1986, on 10/29/2007, -0/+18I bet every track was rainbow road for him. :)
- Shuk, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15As awesome as Mario Kart is, there is one thing that can make it complete: greater sense of speed, like some motion blur or slightly shaky camera at certain speeds.
- ragsmaloy, on 10/29/2007, -0/+13I just hope they implement some kind of road rash feature where waving the wiimote about allows you to clobber the other drivers
- housetim, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12I still play mario kart on the n64 piss drunk on the weekends! I will buy a WII just for mario kart!
- uberlord, on 10/11/2007, -0/+11Obviously you're making assumptions without enough basis to support them in an attempt at humor.
- imbetterthanu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11Awesome. Also, where the hell is the Wii version of Animal Crossing?
- gweedo767, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11I think you are the only person in the world to have ever called Mario Kart 64 a disappointment.
- AuburnTigers, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9I don't think there ever was a winter release date! That was SSBB...
- inactive, on 10/29/2007, -1/+9Because humans like fun.
- Jeffler, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8So this game combines Mario Kart and Excitebike and people are COMPLAINING?
- MattnJax, on 10/11/2007, -2/+9Yeah, it will be fun to see how it works. Personally, I like the addition.
- mwalker05, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7maybe you could link to a gaming site that doesnt suck? the ign video clearly shows mario on a bike with other racers in carts. i would say that is a pretty strong indication you can mix the two.
- acarr, on 10/11/2007, -2/+9who cares? Does this really make a difference? I'm sure it will be a good game. Bikes???? that's irrelevant.
- walkingdogs, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7And you are probably someone who thinks Halo is actually a good FPS.
- uberlord, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9I love the motion controls, I can't stand it when I have to buy a different type of controller to play a good game.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6There is nothing wrong with Double Dash. What exactly are you complaining about?
- Jeffler, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6bookmarked for later wrongproving
- KingGoonie, on 10/11/2007, -2/+8Isnt it coming with a steering wheel add on thing? I don't see whats wrong with the motion controller if you hold it sideways and turn it like you would a wheel...
- BlitzacE, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5+1 digg
yea i really liked the powersliding of smk no need to worry about snaking
and the battle of 64 was the best
ds though was good all around so i really have high hopes for this. nintendo better have online voice for this game (only drawback of ds) - walkingdogs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Then don't pick the bike as your vehicle. Now that was hard wasn't it?
- Elranzer, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Wii Exercise Bike controller?
- MattnJax, on 10/14/2007, -2/+7Sorry acarr, I guess I'm just not enough of a nerdy, gamer fanboy in your eyes. You're probably one of those people that don't get out of the house much, but there's lots of different people out there, all with different taste.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5I haven't thought about road rash for what seems like 10 years. That game was fun.
- inactive, on 10/14/2007, -0/+5You could always bite the bullet and vote with your wallet. If you don't like motion control games, stop supporting them with your consumer dollar. This is like people who go to McDonald's every day and then complain about being fat. Who's forcing you to buy their stuff? STOP GOING THERE if you don't want to support it.
- Nick22, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6yes, it is.
- walkingdogs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Being worked on. Why do so many people want every big name title all at once. Give yourself a chance to beat all that is already out before you get the next AAA title. I already have a list of about 20 games i want this year let alone the games that will be coming out in 2008.
Don't get me wrong, I want animal crossing as bad as you but with Mario Galaxy, SSBB, and Mario kart all coming in the next 4-5 months and Metroid still being played I can wait for Animal crossing. I also want the next iteration of Pikmin. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Fail, all of you.
- SkippyDoorknob, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4It will be if they use ragdoll physics for the rider when he goes flying
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5****Boob?
- MagicCake, on 10/14/2007, -3/+7What choice do you have if you want to get in on Nintendo's great franchises?
- tomthepirate, on 10/11/2007, -3/+7Please no more bitching about motion controls, all the games coming out will have an option to use a normal controller don't worry. (Side note: The Wii controller that replicates the N64 one, awesome!)
- MattnJax, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3that's hilarious
- devate, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Just my opinion but I didn't see anything wrong with the controls for Excite Truck.
- SkippyDoorknob, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Even if they stick with the current Friend Code system, you'll still be able to play random matchups without needing any codes.
- walkingdogs, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4And you figure this how? I guarantee that Mario galaxy will have NO ability to use a normal controller, just like Metroid can't. The inclusion of a normal controller in a wii title will be the exception not the norm. If that was the case why have the Wiimote and nunchuck at all.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4Go play the SNES version then if you're so terrified of change.
- goldenhearted, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Looks like you don't know the concept of "personal favorites".
- harrison5394, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5***Bob-bobombo bobobomb
- pjsk8, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Honestly, they weren't the best two games of my life, but seriously, when I think back......
They were the best two games of my life - eastbeast314, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3It's kinda weird though. I mean, usually features get me excited. But for bikes? I can't say I have a reaction at all.
- krd1979, on 10/14/2007, -0/+2Have you ever played Mario Kart DS? Easily the best in the series and Mark Kart Wii looks to follow after the DS version.
- jamesey, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Mario Kart 64 a disappointment? WTF are you talking about? double dash was awful, but MK64 was a masterpiece.
- mwalker05, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3you are right about dd being a little disappointing, but it wasnt a bad game. and mk 64 owned
