This can be ignored no longer. I'm pre-ordering this. This game could very well be the game that defines this generation in console gaming.

Its was not the first time the Wii got me my roomate, my friends or anyone who uses my room laid. Girls love the wii, its pretty its fun and its easy for them to play. Know who loves the 360? Men. But let's say you're right and I am biased. Instead, let's look at what the critics say. IGN just rated it a 9.7. GameSpot rated it a 9.5. 1UP rated it a 9.5. I want. Of course, it's being released the day before my last two huge finals. Arrrrg! - MasterPlayer, on 11/14/2007, -1/+15They gave WarioWare a 9.1! I really don't think they hate the Wii, they were just being tough on games that we've all played before except with Wii controls. I was afraid SMG was going to be the same, but I am so glad it isn't. I can't decide between the PS3 or 360, so I'm going to get a Wii instead.
- raiderj, on 11/12/2007, -2/+16I've been playing SMG for about a week now, and it is absolutely a fantastic game. It basically takes Super Mario 64 and completely updates it. Excellent use of the Wiimote, great graphics, and surprisingly, amazing surround sound!
If you have a Wii, this is definitely a must-buy! Right up there with Metroid and Zelda. Mario is out and proving itself, the rest are demos, and basically games we've "done before" but now in HD. Galaxy is pushing platforming into new territories, something RE 5 will NOT do. - directive0, on 11/09/2007, -0/+11Sorry to me, SMB3 still wins. But I AM really enjoying it so far!

Even after the storyline is finished(60 stars needed) the other 60 includes many special surprises along the way. I have never had so much fun playing a game to actually start playing it a second time immediately after I beat it.
- skywake, on 11/09/2007, -6/+14For its time I would say that Super Mario World was the "Best Mario Game Ever" and by god it has lasted and is still played now. I doubt that in 2023 people will still be playing Super Mario Galaxy to the same degree that people still play Super Mario World. I can't pass any personal judgement yet though because I haven't played SMG yet.
- atomicpoet, on 11/08/2007, -9/+17There are a lot of great games on the Wii. But this is a legendary game compared to all others. As much as I love Metroid Prime 3, it has scored a 90 on Metacritic. Zack and Wiki has only scored an 86. Fire Emblem has scored an 81. Hell, if we are going to compare other console games, Halo 3 has scored a 94.

Can't you just grade games objectively? Come off it! I mean, SMG is worth at least a 9.691.
